29/10/2025: We were just passing through and have to say: we would definitely come back. The rooms are spacious and clean, the old charm of the farmhouse has been preserved yet modernized. There's an attached restaurant that we really enjoyed. The prices aren't too high, and the quality is excellent. The host is very welcoming and helpful, but never intrusive. We will definitely come back when we're in the area again.

05/05/2025: Il frigo vetrina, posto all'ingresso dell'antico edificio di pietra recentemente ristrutturato, con all'interno grossi pesci appesi a frollare, ci introducono in un mondo fatto di passione, sperimentazione, tecnica e ricerca. L'ambiente è elegante e l'accoglienza cordiale. Il menu è quasi incomprensibile per la quantità di ingredienti insoliti utilizzati per preparare le pietanze. Il crudo di corba rossa è tenero e armonioso ed il risotto alla milanese di mare un poco anonimo. Sorprendente l'animella di vitello alla brace con tamarindo. La carta dei vini è discreta e con ricarichi corretti. Gradita la piccola pasticceria offerta in chiusura. Alla fine della serata resta la sensazione di avere speso bene i 70 euro del conto.

10/04/2025: Sempre una bella conferma! Conoscevamo già questi ragazzi dal Ca' Longa e ci eravamo ripromessi di venire a provare il menù della Ca' di Sass, che rimane rustica ma scenografica. I piatti parlano da sé. Personale di sala molto competente e mai invadente. Piacevolissima serata.

18/12/2025: Since we unfortunately only got here via a very adventurous detour, we didn't have time to enjoy the restaurant's delicacies. The service was very friendly and the staff seemed quite surprised by our route. Apparently, there were other options besides the very narrow and steep forest paths, which were currently undergoing extensive logging and felling work. The coffee was excellent, the bruschetta superb, and everyone was very friendly.

17/02/2026: Excellent experience A typical osteria-style restaurant, with good, authentic food and friendly staff. Perhaps a little more space between tables would be ideal, but the small size of the restaurant doesn't allow for it. Prices are in line with the local area.

15/02/2026: Nothing to complain about the food: good quality. I give it a low score for the atmosphere, service, and portions. The service was slow and disorganized, and the place was small and noisy. We arrived at 1:00 PM to eat the duck, but it was already sold out! With only a few main courses on the menu, it's not plausible in a place that seats 30. We ordered the stew with mushrooms, polenta, and chestnuts, an embarrassing portion. It cost €16 for a slice of stew with three mushrooms and a strip of fried polenta. For four of us, not even half a chestnut was on our plates. I wouldn't go back. And I don't recommend it.

30/10/2025: One of the best bubble teas I've tried in Bologna! Good price and reasonable wait times. THEY ALWAYS HAVE TAPIOCA PEARLS, which isn't a given given the lengthy preparation time. I can't wait to try their freshly prepared street food options too :)

02/10/2025: Hands down, the best delicatessen in Piacenza. It's rare to meet a true professional who pours all their love and knowledge into what they do, yet remains humble. Anyone who enters Il Salumaio Valla can see the owner's passion: we found ourselves spellbound listening to his stories about the curing process of the cured meats, while tasting them accompanied by a special wine (also produced by him), halfway between still and sparkling, sweet just like the wine itself. Personally, I would walk the entire length of Via Roma every day, even though it's no longer the best area of ​​the city, just to return to that little shop brimming with history, studded with price lists as they once were. It's a leap into the past but also a step into the future, thanks to the gourmet selection it offers. I can't wait to return, even if it's just to try the famous gourmet chocolate with pancetta, or to experience the banquet they host on the first Sunday of the month, with everything freshly prepared. A place that will stay in your heart and honors Piacenza's traditions. Highly recommended!
