Marechiaro In Piacenza

If you want a truly good pizza, you have to stop by this pizzeria in Piacenza. The atmosphere is dated (but that's its characteristic), the place is clean and bright. The seating is a little uncomfortable, but when you get up after eating, you feel satisfied. Compliments to all the staff.

The atmosphere is a bit dated, but Marechiaro offers excellent pizza right in the center of Piacenza at very reasonable prices. Keep in mind that the restaurant only serves pizza; there is no restaurant service.

The pizza is good, but be prepared to be transported back to the local dive of 60 years ago. I'd say the place needs some updating.

Excellent food, the staff are quick and, above all, very kind. The prices are also very good. Other pizzerias certainly have higher prices, but the pizzas aren't that good. The desserts are fantastic.

Marechiaro's pizzeria is like a timeless tale from Phaedrus's tales. Starting at the counter, where until the late 1980s, the excellent Vittorio, a phenomenal bartender from Forlì, reigned supreme. Accountant Mario, with them for fifteen years. Enrico, the pizza chef, a playmaker à la Giovannino Stroppa. Roberto and Priscilla, the superb team of matrons, a combination of professionalism and empathy. And finally, the excellent Benedetto, a skilled chef now retired. A Piacenza institution!! Passing through this city we stopped at this pizzeria, excellent pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven, super fast staff, highly recommended.
