Location, staff and value for money...top!

We discovered it by chance, we were there a little while ago, what can I say, everything was truly exceptional from the service/welcome to the food and the value for money. Ideal as a post-visit to Palazzo Farnese which is only two minutes away by car. Highly recommended!!!

What can I say, a beautiful and super welcoming place....we had a race in Piacenza and found it on Google by chance and immediately after the first phone call to see if the place still had room as the race was on Sunday and we, more than 20 people, were the owner super welcoming, he offered us an excellent menu with local products... so super excellent food but super nice local, it seems like we've gone back in time with posters of old singers and many other things like an old diaphragm... in fact if we had to returning to Piacenza we will definitely return to the Balera osteria

I'll make a premise! I had dinner with my partner who is celiac and allergic to lactose, I can guarantee that it was served with white gloves! I contacted and booked via what zap with one of the owners Riccardo who I later met! Courtesy, quality, service and environment are part of their DNA! 2 appetizers that I certainly don't discover the quality of Piacenza! Two spinach, zola and walnut risottos of a Michelin star delicacy! 2 raw horse meat tartares that we didn't finish and enjoyed because they were too dirty! Drank an excellent beer and 2 coffees with 2 bitters! I never like to say the price but I only say it is proportional to what you ate! A place that deserves to return with great pleasure! Modern and well-kept place just outside the center of Piacenza (reachable on foot), in an area full of parking. Simple menu, not too vast and with fair prices. Fried dumpling excellent both accompanied by cured meats and cheeses (but more so by cured meats😋). The first courses we tried (tortelli Piacentini and Pisarei) were amazing. And even the dessert (super generous portion) was amazing. Very friendly staff, they also gave us useful advice for reaching the stadium. I recommend booking. I will definitely return to the city (nice surprise) and stop at the Balera again!

Fatto tappa qui durante un viaggio, posto molto carino, menù con poche cose ma devo dire tipiche e fatte bene! Siamo rimasti soddisfatti dal posto scelto per fare una sosta e mangiare!!

Ottima cena per anniversario. Locale molto carino, personale gentile ed accogliente e che dire del cibo?. Abbiamo gustato ottimi gnocchi con porcini castagne e taleggio e come secondo uno spettacolare carré di maialino glassato con mele e scalogno, carne tenerissima. Per finire maritozzo accompagnato da un calice di profumato malvasia passito "Il Piriolo“della cantina Lusenti di Ziano. Locale che già Conoscevamo, si è riconfermato top. BRAVI!!!
