19/07/2025: Il "Cavalier Uliva" è un ristorante, in un casale della campagna ferrarese, ampio e ben arredato. La caratteristica del locale sono gli assaggi dei primi piatti e proprio qui nasce il problema. Gli assaggi previsti sono fino ad 8, quindi i primi potranno essere anche di più, ma non sono riportati dal menu, che viene "recitato" dalla cameriera. Si ascoltano tutti, naturalmente ci si è scordati dei primi, si chiede se può ripeterli, vengono di nuovo rapidamente raccontati forse tralasciandone alcuni, quindi si fa la scelta in base al poco rimasto memorizzato, anche perché i piatti sono di regola elaborati, con più ingredienti che vengono così confusi. Ovviamente non si parla di allergeni, riportati fin dall'ultima pizzeria. Il vino è previsto in bottiglia o al calice. Se per la bottiglia si fa riferimento alla carta dei vini, che però deve essere richiesta, per il calice la domanda è: bianco o rosso, fermo o frizzante ? Quindi cosa si beve ? Tutto questo non è accettabile, in un ristorante che vuole distinguersi per varietà e qualità. I piatti in se potrebbero anche essere gradevoli, nel nostro caso invece, diciamo per poca meditazione sul menu ( ! ), abbiamo trovato cappelletti, sicuramente non all'altezza della tradizione ferrarese e "casonsei", forse decenti ma affogati in un formaggio affumicato il cui forte sapore copre ogni cosa. Il giudizio è quindi necessariamente negativo e potremo ritornare solo quando la dichiarata "politica interna" di presentazione verrà modificata.

11/06/2025: Location all’antica ma molta bella. Abbiamo preso i primi, molto molto buoni tutti, complimenti, per il cibo ci torneremo sicuramente. 4 stelle e non 5 solo per un’uscita a mio parere maleducata di una cameriera senza nessun motivo, ha risposto in malo modo alla sola richiesta di ripetere i primi nell’ordinazione. A parte questo tutti gli altri commensali super disponibili.

20/03/2025: This place could be a real gem. Located in a historic place in Ferrara, the Bazzi grocery store. I went there last night for an aperitif and to eat something before going to the theater right next door, at the Estense theater. It was a really negative experience. Rude waiters and above all annoyed as soon as they saw us enter. As a Ferrarese who loves his city, I would like to invite the owners to reflect on the important place they manage and on the inestimable value of the town hall square, where the place is located. Last night, I couldn't keep quiet and I made both waiters aware of my disappointment with those attitudes, those faces and that unjustified and gratuitous rudeness. From there, something actually changed, but it was too late and the result is that I will never return to this place. And neither will my friends. Last but not least, the place is really expensive.

02/09/2025: 8.6 is the objective rating for this establishment. 4.3 actual stars - analyzing the various aspects listed below: I tried, with some suspicion, to buy fresh pasta here for lunch on August 15th. As soon as I exchanged a few words with the lady at the counter, I immediately knew I'd come to the right place. 30 years of experience translate into excellent preparations, among which the pumpkin cappellaccio, typical of the Ferrara area, stands out. Congratulations! I'll be back every time I'm in Ferrara. - Accessibility 10 It's in the "Il Castello" shopping center, so there's ample parking. - Exterior appearance and ease of access 8 - Interior appearance 8 - Cleanliness 8 - Menu variety 8 - Obviously related to the various types of fresh pasta - Quality of food and raw materials 9 - Professionalism of the staff 10 - Appearance of the kitchen 8 - Restrooms N.V. 31/08/2025: Yesterday I bought a plate of pasta pasticciata to take away....the result was diarrhea for my husband and I, straung and dear...I'm speechless!!!!

26/08/2025: I stopped at this bar for a quick breakfast, even though I already knew it for its evening aperitifs. I had a cappuccino and a brioche with cream. The cappuccino was delicious—it's been a while since I've tasted anything this good—the pastry was light, and the cream was fresh. The guy who served me (a dark-haired man who also works as a bartender in the evenings) was really kind and professional. I recommend it.

11/07/2025: Colazione alle 8 di mattina, due persone nel locale: accoglienza gelida, nessuna risposta al mio saluto. Cappuccino formato risparmio, circa tre quarti della tazza. Nessun bicchierino di cortesia, al signore precedente era stato dato, a me no. Forse esiste un criterio per dare il bicchierino d'acqua, a qualcuno sì ad altri no. Mah ! A dire il vero la pasta con la crema era buona, ma l'accoglienza del locale, per usare un eufemismo, ha avuto qualche qualche "sbavatura". Apprezzo molto i bar che curano molto , oltre i prodotti, le modalità della accoglienza che costituiscono sempre un valore aggiunto. Non credo di tornare molto presto, anzi....
