30/10/2025: We went last Saturday, booking 45 minutes before our arrival using The Fork app. The restaurant is part of the Ego Hotel, and has old '80s and '90s touches with Mexican touches, as the restaurant served Mexican food way back in the day. The gentleman at the front desk, who also worked as a waiter, was very kind and helpful. We ordered two tasting menus, which included: Appetizer Two first courses Second course The appetizer consisted of a mix of cured meats and eel meatballs, which was overall decent. The first courses were: - pumpkin-filled tortelli, one with orange flakes and the other with 'nduja - cheese and pepper tortellini The second courses were: - fried meatballs - vegetable tart with potatoes and jam They also offered us a dessert: a margherita tart with apples and Amaro del Capo liqueur for both of us. We also ordered still water, a glass of wine, and two coffees. Total bill €78. Unfortunately, since it was a tasting menu, we didn't get the 20% discount, but that's okay.

17/10/2025: One star because zero can't be given. Three stars for the atmosphere and the karaoke. The rest can't even be called a restaurant. Granted, it was a themed night (nothing Mexican), but you can't serve inedible meatballs and mashed potatoes that I make better at home with powdered sachets. The wait was endless, with waiters asking if everything had arrived, despite the limited number of tables. Focus on the rides.

From appetizers to main courses, everything is tasty, fresh, and carefully prepared. The restaurant operates on a self-service basis, but everything is well-organized and the service is quick. The dishes are plentiful, beautifully presented, and made with quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is simple yet refined, ideal for a casual yet flavorful meal. An excellent experience for those looking for good seafood without breaking the bank. Recommended!

01/11/2025: Usually everything is good but not this time...the mussels were not good, maybe they were out of season but it would have been better to take them off the menu.

09/12/2025: A cute place with lots of animals for the kids. The food is a bit lacking considering the prices they offer. I was shocked by the price of water: 0.75 cl €3.75 I wouldn't go back.

30/11/2025: The staff were quite rude. We ate reasonably well, but it was cold because the restaurant is only heated in the center. When we asked to change our table, they told us it was all booked, but no one showed up. I wouldn't go back.

30/12/2025: La Tavernetta Pizzeria is a casual and welcoming place, ideal for enjoying well-cooked pizzas and simple yet tasty dishes. A family atmosphere and friendly service complete the experience.

07/11/2025: What can I say? Upon request, they made us pumpkin tortelli, which were truly delicious and plentiful. Then there was the excellent schiacciata with mixed cheeses, and finally, the exquisite dessert. It couldn't be better.

30/07/2025: The dishes are always fresh, freshly prepared, and the staff is always friendly. It's often become my go-to place for lunch, I recommend it! I also love their poke bowls 😍Keep it up, guys!

18/10/2025: Two couples of friends went for a walk one weekend in October. We went for a stroll during the eel festival. Given the nice weather, we decided to eat by the sea. This beach establishment is really friendly, and their staff is very kind and helpful. We ate two days in a row, a little late, both times being almost 2:30 PM. They didn't say anything to us, but instead served us promptly and without rushing us. The photos show the dishes from the second day. On the first day, we had an exceptional fried fish. The next day, we opted for two first courses and a grilled eel to share. Everything was very plentiful and delicious, and the prices were excellent considering we were practically on the beach and eating fresh fish. Everything was excellent.

07/12/2025: We ate at the restaurant, we didn't see the hotel. We felt at home; the staff was welcoming and very friendly. And the fillet was super juicy and tender, mouth-watering. P.S. Salvatore, every time we hear a Madonna song, we think of you!

03/08/2025: The room is adequate for a three-star hotel, the staff is sometimes rude, it's hard to understand why the elevator sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

13/07/2025: I've always had a good experience at this place, but last night the experience was terrible... endless waiting time, lost and inexperienced waiters, no apologies for the poor service... well, a really bad experience.

13/07/2025: After an hour of waiting, four out of five pizzas arrived. The fifth never arrived because we decided to get up and go pay. The pizzas were badly topped (even with the wrong ingredients) and undercooked. When it came time to get the bill, we pointed this out to the owner, who didn't even apologize; instead, he told us they'd had problems, and that can happen. Everyone in the dining room was complaining.

03/11/2025: The pizza arrived late, it wasn't cooked and it was expensive and not good.

14/10/2025: Excellent pizza. On Friday lunchtime, upon reservation, they made pizza just for me and a dear friend of mine who I hadn't seen in 40 years. I highly recommend it.

02/02/2026: I'm giving it 3 stars because, in my opinion, they could start serving tables... the lack of these services simply creates confusion. Otherwise, the food is good.

11/11/2025: Large and spacious restaurant, friendly and attentive staff, reasonable prices. I had the opportunity to enjoy a fixed-price lunch menu. The dishes were plentiful. Compliments to all the staff.
