23/08/2024: Siamo tornati a mangiare in questo posto per la terza volta, si mangia sempre bene, i piatti sono ben curati e molto gustosi e la cura nei dettagli non è da meno come le bottiglie personalizzate con murrine Veneziane fatte a mano, olio di massima qualità e pane tipico “Pan del Bovolo” che fa volare! Super consigliato!

08/08/2024: Coming back to Fiore is always a certainty. Impeccable service and staff, delicious dishes, refined and top-quality products. A place like few others in Venice that preserves a know-how and creation that is now a rarity.

03/09/2024: My husband and I went here for dinner our first night in Venice. The food was delicious and Sam, our server, was so amazing! We actually decided to grab a reservation for the next day as well.

06/07/2024: You could very easily miss this place if you are not paying enough attention on the street - and to be perfectly frank, I didn’t have high expectations when we first walked in. The ambiance is very unpretentious and there are only a few small tables. I didn’t know what to expect as it was booked by my husband and I didn’t know anything about the place. But this place honestly blew my mind! I can honestly say it was the best gnocchi I ever had (pumpkin gnocchi with poppy seeds and smoked ricotta with butter and sage), and the dessert - a deconstructed millefueille - was just as fantastic. Just amazing meal, and service. Do yourself a favor and book a table!

05/07/2024: This is one of the very few restaurants where we felt bad service was rendered. Not just us but the rest of the patrons eating dinner there at the time. Apparently there was only one server (not sure if there were others) and the service was impacted by just one server tendering to the diners. Not only was it slow, but also arrogant speaking with their customers. The food was really good but with the bad service, it's too bad to affect the mood for a supposedly fine dining.

10/07/2024: Food was excellent. We had spaghetti a la busara, pizza Diavola and a Margherita pizza. Service was good, they kinda leave you alone, but good service overall. They take visa as a form of payment.

08/07/2024: This is where the locals eat! There was a table of gondola skippers eating next to us, fantastic food at fantastic prices: polenta with in its ink cuddle fish to die for! Gnocchi like puff of clouds!! Def reco!!

07/07/2024: Luca excellent cameriere. Food well presented, tasty. Reservations needed well in advance. €158 for shrimp in coriander sauce (excellent), sea bass filet (good), one veggie plate to share, one Prosecco, one glass white, strawberry dessert. We have been before, maybe not a go back for us as other places to try.

29/06/2024: I was in Venice to eat in 11 restaurants, all different but chosen over 12 months before the trip, to show what Venice was capable of. Osteriere Alle Testiere was ‘up there’, to be honest they all were. It’s a small restaurant, sneaking by earlier in the day I saw freshly purchased produced on the table by the kitchen, a good sign. Everything is Fresh, I mean really fresh. The menu is inventive, tastes varying from subtle to in your face. Local wines are a speciality and do real justice to the food coming out of the kitchen. Pilgrim Scallops with Lemon and peppermint were a revelation, perfectly cooked, soft and tender, the Lemon and Mint was not overpowering, a background flavour that danced on the palate, awesome. Being a seafood junkie the main was Prawns with Coriander, Ginger and Lime, and some local vegetables like a kind of ratatouille. Wow wow wow, another lip smacking plate of food. I am a diabetic so don’t eat too many desserts, those on offer were extremely tempting but this was early on in an 11 restaurant marathon so didn’t go for any of the 10! Options available! Earlier that day, I had purchased a cookery book, Venetian Republic, when I thumbed through it back at the Hotel, one of the restaurants desserts was featured, the Pistachio cake, I will be making that for sure. Osteria Alle Testiere is a must do place to eat, I booked it months in advance, it’s small, they were turning people away. Book early and don’t be disappointed.

30/11/2024: Good restaurant, the fish is particularly tasty! Maybe it was a bad evening but contrary to other reviews, I didn't find the staff necessarily very welcoming, however, no problem, they remained very helpful and professional. The dishes remain expensive for the quantity.

30/11/2024: It was a tough choice among the restaurants in Venice, but intuition guided us excellently: open kitchen, jovial and familiar welcome, detailed and inviting explanation of tasty typical dishes, warm and refined environment. We will keep this tavern in mind during the next days in Venice and we highly recommend it.

02/12/2024: Bar à cocktails chaleureux et cosy. Toujours du monde, bonne musique, prix très correct pour ce quartier près de la Fenice.

30/11/2024: Esperienza in occasione di una cena dopo un congresso scientifico, ambiente caratteristico, tavolate anguste dove erano sistemati otto commensali nello spazio idoneo per sei. Personale giovane, simpatico ed efficiente gestito e diretto però con modalità più da pizzeria che da ambiente elegante. Vini gradevoli, cucina dignitosa (menù fisso).

29/08/2024: Food and ambiance is good. Service may be a bit slow and no one is waiting at the entrance for your table. But they make it up with the free pastries and appetizers.

28/08/2024: Posto stupendo, pesce ,carne , primi o secondi tutto perfetto…. Accoglienza dei camerieri , in particolare Angela e Irene , veramente esemplare , brave e pazienti. La trattoria numero uno a Venezia. 5stelle prezzo e qualità, torneremo di sicuro. GRANDE BOSS RIDHA

06/08/2024: Eccezionale rapporto qualità-prezzo: eravamo in due e abbiamo preso uno spritz Select come aperitivo, due primi molto buoni, specialmente i ravioli di pesce con pomodorini e gamberi, una frittura di pesce freschissimo con polentina , un tiramisù e un caffè; tutto accompagnato da due bottiglie di acqua e un quarto di vino, il conto... €70 euro! Personale cortesissimo e simpatico. Torneremo certamente.

25/07/2024: Serata piacevolissima, cenato all’interno con un clima ideale. Servizio cordiale e gentile, piatti buonissimi e belle porzioni. Finale con un super ottimo Tiramisù. Tutti contenti e torneremo di sicuro.

18/08/2024: This was my favourite lunch of our holiday! The restaurant is in a beautiful and tranquil setting, offering excellent pizza. Our hotel recommended this spot, and they were absolutely right. The staff were friendly and kind, and when I couldn’t decide what to order, they provided a great recommendation. The pizza was delicious, and the bill was quite reasonable too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking amazing pizza during their stay!

18/08/2024: Good restaurant on the edge of the ultra-touristy streets. The setting is pleasant and the dishes are quality (the tiramisu is incredible…) Huge black spot however when paying the bill, which impacts the final note and leaves a salty aftertaste. The owner of the establishment makes a few entries on his machine then gives us the invoice. We were very quickly asked for the bank card that I was holding in my hand, without letting us take the time to consult the details of the prices. One reason for this: the amount of the main course has been increased by +4 euros per person! So yes, cutlery and service are not charged extra. So yes, we serve you a welcome cocktail. But these elements are paid for dishonestly! What's more, after having complimented them on their services and their dishes! We didn't complain at the time, which we regret (probably out of courtesy...). However, it would be regrettable to blame us for this. A quick word to the establishment: not all tourists are completely idiots. Professionalism requires you to check your errors yourself and not wait for your customers to correct them for you. Note that other reviews indicate that exactly the same thing happened... so don't describe this as an error since it is not supposed to happen again. Hoping that this review will help avoid this unpleasant surprise for other customers in the future. For our part, we overpaid 12 euros. The establishment must therefore pay in return via a negative review which must have an impact.

26/07/2024: A family owned restaurant with exquisite service and high quality food. Each dish was perfectly prepared and served. We had oysters, antipasti. Lazagna, spaghetti bolognese and tiramisu.

28/06/2024: Sehr feine Menus, klassisch inspiriert und zeitgemäss interpretiert. Beste Qualität bei Fisch und Meeresfrüchten aber auch bei den anderen Gerichten. Nicht das billigste Lokal in Venedig, jedoch Top in Preis-Leistung. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr herzlich und charmant und man spricht perfekt englisch.

22/08/2024: We came here for an ombré & cichetti (wine and tapas) and it was delicious in a lovely atmosphere. Despite its central location, it was quiet and not too crowded with tourists. I recommend stopping by!
