03/07/2024: We had a wonderful overall experience. The food and service were excellent! We were celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary and they truly made it an evening to remember. They sat us in the balcony which took our experience to another level. The tuna tartare and the tagliolini on gratin with langoustine and red radicchio from Chioggia were both outstanding. Yes, the wine list is a bit pricey but in line with similar higher end restaurants. We will be back!

26/06/2024: Particularly enjoyed the soft shell crabs fried with white polenta and green salad, and the tagliolini on gratin with langoustine and red radicchio from Chioggia, which tasted like mac and cheese.

10/07/2024: Un sans-faute sur toute la ligne, un cadre magnifique dans une cour, un service agréable et efficace ainsi que d’excellents plats recherchés avec des ingrédients de qualité. Clairement notre meilleur repas de notre séjour à Venise. Alors oui les prix sont un peu élevés mais cela se justifie totalement.

09/07/2024: It seemed expensive before we entered, but this was a wholesome experience. The waters are well educated, well mannered and entertaining. They are highly skilled in their craft with an acute sense of detail. All in all a pricey night, but it's well worth every single cent. Magnificent food with all the right drinks. You have to try this

08/07/2024: Very good Venetian restaurant with a history for certain dishes. Impeccable welcome, smile, speaks French. Unique wine advice. The restaurant remains expensive but the food is excellent. We will come back without hesitation when we have the pleasure of returning to this unique city. Congratulations to the whole team.

05/07/2024: Amazing restaurant. The atmosphere is immediately chic from the moment you enter. The staff is really attentive and makes the effort to speak in French even to explain each plate. Really super good, super well presented plates. A gourmet restaurant that delivers from start to finish

18/04/2024: Gentilissimi fin dalla prenotazione al telefono. Grande cura ed attenzione. Abbiamo gustato un fritto ottimo, gli spaghetti alla Busera e sarde in saor. Tutto buonissimo. Conto più che onesto per la qualità offerta. Felice di aver portato le mie amiche che hanno apprezzato moltissimo

17/07/2024: Posto carino,personale gentile,menù bocciato. L'antipasto non eccezionale. I primi piatti mi hanno molto deluso. La busara era una pasta al pomodoro orfana degli altri ingredienti sopra la quale era appoggiato pateticamente 1 (uno) scampo. La pasta al nero di seppia di nero non aveva nulla nemmeno il colore e sulla qualità delle seppie non mi esprimo per non infierire. Dulcis in fondo i cantucci pessimi e il vino dolce era...frizzante🤐.

10/07/2024: Some of the best seafood I ever had, with great seafood gnochetti, great tuna tartare, and not crazily marked up either. And the dessert was delicious too! Focaccia soaked in liquor. Heck yeah. Worth coming here again.

06/07/2024: You could very easily miss this place if you are not paying enough attention on the street - and to be perfectly frank, I didn’t have high expectations when we first walked in. The ambiance is very unpretentious and there are only a few small tables. I didn’t know what to expect as it was booked by my husband and I didn’t know anything about the place. But this place honestly blew my mind! I can honestly say it was the best gnocchi I ever had (pumpkin gnocchi with poppy seeds and smoked ricotta with butter and sage), and the dessert - a deconstructed millefueille - was just as fantastic. Just amazing meal, and service. Do yourself a favor and book a table!

05/07/2024: This is one of the very few restaurants where we felt bad service was rendered. Not just us but the rest of the patrons eating dinner there at the time. Apparently there was only one server (not sure if there were others) and the service was impacted by just one server tendering to the diners. Not only was it slow, but also arrogant speaking with their customers. The food was really good but with the bad service, it's too bad to affect the mood for a supposedly fine dining.

04/07/2024: Sehr schöne kleine Trattoria im Herzen von Venedig und doch abseits des Trubels. Das Essen war vorzüglich. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Tagliatelle mit Hummer und der Wolfsbarsch gebacken.

27/06/2024: Tasty pasta, quickly prepared. Less touristy feel than most restaurants in the city, there were locals too. I am deducting a star mainly for a number of minor shortcomings regarding cleanliness, but it is nothing terrible. Practical info: If you open the bottle of water you brought, it's €3.50. They only have bottled beer (not recommended for Czechs), the house wine is rather sour, but one of us liked it (€5/glass). There is also a 13% service charge on the receipt. A final shot (chocolate liqueur) with cookies is free, with a request for a rating.

25/04/2024: Bon accueil, le serveur était aux petits soins, le repas excellent, nous nous sommes régalés. Ne pas oublier de réserver.

30/03/2024: Over rated,Over priced, bland food/but nice pressented/. Staff not really attentive, it supposed to be a family restaurant...to make feel a customers more engaged , more welcomed...but unfortunately Lack of atmosphere, no family touch. I understand to be busy, but it was only 3 tables to be served. We giving them 2 stars only because we really liked the zucchini flowers and the bread.

01/06/2024: Came here for pizza because of the good reviews. I have no idea what kind of taste some people have. For many people it is probably Dr. Oetker the comparison object. No, you don't have to go there again, even if the price was more than fair.

11/07/2024: Definition of a tourist trap, they seat you as soon as you come in the vicinity of the menu and be very nice and personable to you, first time i went was ok no complaints except pasta was extremely salty and they urge you to get expensive add ons . The drinks were very cheap and good, decided to go a second time and food was better and nice however they asked 4+ times for table water which for some reason was more expensive than the first time. Also the alcohol that we purchased first time doubled in price for no apparent reason. When we brought this up to the staff they gaslit us and told us we were wrong and it’s always been that way even though there was a 2 day gap between the visits. Lied to our face and stumbled their words trying to justify that it was always like this.

11/07/2024: TOURIST TRAP. Very friendly to get you into the door but once you’ve ordered they barely acknowledge you. Only time they do is when they are trying to push you to buy more expensive add-ons. First time going here I was charged €3.50 for Aperole Spritz and second time I went was charged €7. Confronted waiter about this and he said it’s not possible that we paid €3.50 the first time, he just tried to gaslight us. Scams tourists and forces you to pay ridiculous prices. DONT GO HERE

23/07/2024: We met at Volto with a friend, the service was fast and friendly, you have to arrive early otherwise the tables are all booked and when the customers arrive they make you get up, the alternative is to stand but with few support points. The shots were disappointing

07/07/2024: During our stay in Venice, our Airbnb host recommended Osteria Alla Staffa, and it turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The restaurant offers a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying authentic Venetian cuisine. What made our visit truly special was the personalized touch from the chef. My daughter loves pasta carbonara, but it wasn't on the menu. However, the chef graciously agreed to prepare it for us. The result was the best carbonara we have ever had—creamy, flavourful, and made with evident love and skill. When I complimented the dish, the chef shared that he made it just like his mother used to make for him, adding a heart warming personal touch to our meal.

14/06/2024: One of my worst food experiences. Should have left.. but stayed for rude servers, terrible inedible food that cost same as Michelin restaurants. Edit*. Please note response… the arrogance. We ordered fish of the day, clams and fried octopus. We do not want tourist menu… but a smile, good home made food and at reasonable cost. If you hate tourists.. well it’s noted.

11/06/2024: Phenomenal food at a great price! Can't recommend highly enough! Did not give 5 stars for service as our server totally ignored us BUT the other server was amazing.
