13/12/2025: After reading rave reviews, we booked the restaurant and came for dinner with friends. The first thing we noticed was that it was deserted, and all the waiters were either Pakistani or from Asian countries. Not Italian. The waiter didn't know what Franciacorta was. We spent a long time explaining it to him. Then he brought a bottle of wine and, with a sense of duty, poured it all into our glasses. In other words, he hadn't been taught any service culture. The food was tasteless, and the seafood was clearly frozen. There was no Italian flavor or vibe in the restaurant. The waiters ruined everything, and the same goes for the kitchen staff. Towards the end, the owner, a very nice Italian, came and said hello. But the evening was ruined. I don't understand why good old, reputable restaurants hire these people who don't even know where they are.

22/11/2025: Excellent food, complimentary aperitif and digestif. A real treat at a very reasonable price. Worth noting.

11/12/2025: Very good restaurant, excellent appetizers. The same goes for the fried fish. Friendly and efficient service.

03/12/2025: As often happens in my travels, the best places are the ones I stumble upon by pure luck, and this spot was no exception. Our original restaurant couldn’t accommodate a table for five, but this place welcomed us and made room without hesitation. The space is small but cozy, and the food was truly exceptional. The standout dish was the octopus: easily the best I’ve ever had. It was incredibly tender, almost melting in your mouth, which is impressive considering how tough and chewy octopus can be when not cooked properly. We also ordered the ravioli, bao, lamb chops, and cacio e pepe, and every dish was thoroughly enjoyed by our group. We selected a bottle of white wine that was so good we ended up ordering a second. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable evening for all of us.

07/12/2025: We had a wonderful meal. The waiter recommended a spaghetti with lobster dish, and what a spectacular dish it was! The food was excellent, and the service was also very good. We highly recommend it.

10/12/2025: 没有礼貌，东西尚可，有很多其他餐厅选择，不用特别来。 Since there were 8 of us, I booked over a month in advance, confirmed and reconfirmed all these emails we sent each other and in the end the waiters weren't informed, what's the point? We walked in and both staff gave us a firm "No" that you don't have a reservation, instead of just letting us sit down. Plus, the girl questioned me about the validity of the reservation, how embarrassing, and she didn't even apologize later. I wouldn't recommend your place to anyone.

09/12/2025: Very nice, especially in the evening when there are few tourists!

15/12/2025: It's a shame we only discovered it on the last night; the food was very good, the atmosphere relaxed, and the background music was nice. The enclosed terrace with glass doors and heaters was lovely for watching the channel, even at night. The best thing about it (besides the food) was the waiter, Paolo. He was super friendly and nice without being pushy, and he also speaks Spanish, which made the experience very enjoyable.

30/11/2025: Excellent osteria near the Rialto Bridge, with fair prices and generous portions. Highly recommended: bigoli in salsa.

08/11/2025: Centrally located, traditional, and welcoming, this restaurant offers a good selection of typical Venetian dishes and several options to choose from. Everything was delicious, but the real difference was made by our waiter, Mr. Diego. He was kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly. Thanks to him, we felt right at home, and the restaurant has become our best choice in Venice for an authentic and enjoyable dinner.

03/11/2025: The pasta was really bad and the pizza was completely uninteresting. Be sure to check the bill when paying, as the waiter had discreetly overcharged for the cover charge.

29/11/2025: Very good food but really too expensive, 45 euros per person for 4 dishes and 2 chips, plus wine, 2 desserts, 2 coffees and 2 grappas... Really too expensive.

24/11/2025: We sat in a nice side room. The waiters were very friendly and the food was really delicious.

29/11/2025: We stopped for a spritz...we noticed they made the cicchetti on the spot, so let's go for it!! Both the cod one and the shrimp in saor one were fabulous. Then we saw a plate of fried fish at the next table and ordered that too...excellent both in terms of the way it was cooked and the quantity and variety of fish. Well done!!!

30/10/2025: We ended up eating at Merca, recommended by our hotelier. Upon arrival, we were immediately escorted to our table and promptly brought us the menu. We chose the bigoli in salsa, the grilled vegetables, and the cuttlefish with polenta, and everything exceeded our wildest expectations. To round out an already excellent dinner, we ordered homemade biscuits with sweet wine, which were also simply delicious. Very prompt service. Highly recommended!

16/07/2025: The owner seemed nice, but the service wasn't the best and neither was the food. For the starter we had a a plate each which had different kinds of fish and shell fish on. The scallop felt like it had been microwaved and the other bits lacked seasoning. The owners seemed nice, but our waiter I felt was quite intimidating.. standing over us and honestly it felt like we were an inconvenience to be there. The restaurant itself is really nice, but sadly the food wasn't the best and for the price, I'd expect a lot more
