29/04/2026: What an enjoyable last dinner in Florence before we head back home. From start to finish the service was attentive, exceptional, and they put you at ease. We enjoyed the amuse bouche and our ravioli and filet of sole mains and had to leave room for dessert. The food was beautifully presented and as appealing to the eye as it was to the taste buds. Thank you Osteria da Fiore for making our last meal in Venice so memorable!

We weren't entirely satisfied with the restaurant's offerings. Typical Venetian dishes have probably given way to more sophisticated options over time. It's a shame. However, these were well presented and well cooked. Overall, the prices are a bit high.
04/04/2026: I met Giacomo two years ago in Mentawai and he told me about his restaurant. So some weeks ago I finally made it to venice and to Osteria da Carla. What to say.. All in all it was delicious from the starter to the end. Thanks to Giacomo, Michela and the whole team! Your restaurant is unique and always worth to come! 🫶🥰

05/05/2026: Horrible food. Horrible staff. Definitely not a place for foreigners, the curly hair girl was definitely not the most welcoming person.
Avoid at all costs if you’re a traveller.

08/06/2026: Maybe it's what I ordered. But don't get the linguine vongolle, pasta with clams. It was a small portion with 5 clams. Meanwhile others got the fried seafood and stir fry clam and mussels which were huge portions. Why didnt the staff educate on what to get? Seems like they just want to rip you off, by suggesting other dishes that I wasn't interested in. In the end I felt ripped off anyway. Also seems racist too. Additionally once I was done, the waiter was talking to another table then turns around and fingers my eaten clam shells to illustrate a point. How rude to treat a customer like that. Even doing it to someone you know is even rude. Really poor service and lack of respect for people.

Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere.
The cod and saor, typical of the area, are a must-try!

The food is delicious, for different tastes
The only one that took a long time to figure out how to turn on the water in the tap where you can wash your hands and it's noisy
Maybe we got there at peak time (lunch), but there was a line that passed quickly
03/05/2026: The great thing is: so close to the tourist hotspot, you'll find this oasis of calm with good value for money. The pizza was good, and the seafood appetizer platter was impressive. The fritto misto was exactly as it should be.

03/06/2026: This place isn't a touristy one, even though it's close to highly touristy areas. The food is very good, although the prices are a bit high. The staff is friendly and helpful.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well, authentic Italian and Venetian cuisine!

05/05/2026: Ricardo and Nicolo are the best waiter in Venice who served us.Very tasty fish 51 on the menu, highly recommended. Bread and butter are delicious, homemade. Thank you very much, it's a pity the portions are small, but they are delicious.

15/05/2026: The pasta carbonara is a real treat; it's flavorful, generous, and above all, the quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite. The staff is pleasant, and a special mention goes to the waiter who is very efficient, attentive, and doesn't hesitate to check on us from time to time to make sure everything is alright. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the food. A restaurant to try again and again without hesitation! 👍
14/05/2026: We returned here twice during our three nights in Venice, May 2026. The atmosphere and music were inviting and the service was welcoming, attentive and fun.
The food was delicious. We each had a pizza the first night, anchovies and capers, and prosciutto. Both were cooked and topped to perfection. The second night we had a salad and pasta dishes which were equally good.
Their bread and olive oil were fresh and tasty, and they had pepperoncini flakes and chili oil to satisfy my need for a little heat. To top it off, they offered a decent and reasonably priced house red.
We recommend this little slice of Italian cuisine.

Frittura mista, sarde in saor, artichokes, and scampi. Highly recommended.
10/05/2026: Very poor quality! Rude staff who are discriminatory against who they serve. Food is too salty, not fresh products, and clearly old (definitely a day or two old). Avoid at all costs!

24/07/2025: Hemos comido muy bien, el camarero que nos atendió ha sido muy amable, incluso hablábamos español, la comida estaba muy buena , se nota que es casera, hay gente de la ciudad comiendo aquí, por eso entramos y acertamos.
Lo recomiendo mucho.
Muy buen precio, por cierto.
