Enoteca Al Volto is an absolute gem for anyone seeking the real Venice without having to spend their entire vacation budget on a single drink. Here you'll still find locals who appreciate the perfect aperitivo spot. But what truly makes the experience complete is the fantastic team: behind the bar are strong women who run the place with an impressive blend of warmth, expertise, and Venetian flair. The service is not only friendly but also genuinely helpful, which is a real blessing in the often hectic streets. The bar also impresses with very fair prices ranging from €10 to €30 and a quality that far surpasses the usual tourist fare. Anyone stopping here should definitely sample the small delicacies and – very importantly – round off the evening with plenty of Select wine. An absolutely worthwhile stop for anyone who wants to experience Venice at its most authentic!

We had four cicchetti and cuttlefish with polenta on the terrace. Everything was delicious; the waitress's recommendation for the cicchetti didn't disappoint. There's music inside, but it's much quieter and more pleasant outside. The food was a 10/10, the best we've had so far in Venice.

We had a wonderful meal: creamed cod, shrimp, and cuttlefish with polenta, and drank a glass of house prosecco. The place is very welcoming and authentic; we loved it! Highly recommended.

Super casual, traditional place, with a wide selection of cicchetti and drinks. Excellent selection of wines, white, red, and sparkling. Perfect for an aperitif. Highly recommended.

We were there in January 2025 and April 2026. It's located in a quiet street. A quaint and very charming location, with several tables inside. Ombra is €2, glasses of wine are around €6, and cicchetti are around €3 (the vegetable polpetta and tramezzini are good). Friendly staff.

My wife and I aren't crazy about seafood so this was not the best place for us but it was part of a tour we were on for food in Venice.

Very simple restaurant with few tables. A bit stuffy inside and too many smokers outside! The service wasn't very friendly or welcoming. Otherwise, the food was fantastic! Everything is homemade and excellent! It's a shame the service didn't match the quality of the food!
