Déçu... Cuisine prétentieuse et servie avec parcimonie. Cuisson de la lotte à base température mal maîtrisées et pourtant j'abhore le poisson trop cuit... Trois bouchées de lotte... Manque de saveurs malgré la description alléchante. Idem pour le cabillaud. Les pâtes, taglioni pistacchi, ont sauvé le repas. Nous avons préféré esquiver le dessert... Un blanc pour accompagner le tout et une addition à 177€...

Un restaurant situé sur l’artère principal de Venise. J’ai détesté la condescendance du responsable de salle qui n’écoute que lui. Deux carte, une pour les touristes très chère et une carte pour les Vénitiens qu’il faut réclamer. Un plat de pâtes et deux bouteilles d’eau pour 150€. Si elles étaient transcendantes mais même pas.

We went for dinner and were surprised that we were seated at a covered outside terrace. We would have loved to have dined inside their restaurant. It was cold that night, but the bright heat lamps all over the temporary side walls were overwhelming and extremely bright. The service was very good and so was the food. The price is a bit higher than other restaurants. They worked as a team and were always attentive to every table. Overall we enjoyed the night, but we missed not having the experience we were expecting of eating in the restaurant, not in an outside terrace.

16/04/2024: Voici la deuxième fois que nous revenons dans cet établissement .le souci est que le maître d’hôtel parle français , mais ne le comprend pas! La moitié de la commande était passée à l’as ! Nous avons attendu une demie heure pour un plat qui n’est jamais venu! Ceci dit la langue ( en entrée) est bonne et le foie de veau à la vénitienne sympathique . Ne commandez pas de pâtes , elles sont chères , servies en très petites portions et pas meilleures qu’ailleurs . En revanche les vins sont excellents et abordables si on écoute le maître d’hôtel le plus âgé . Pour le prix les nappes sont blanches, les serviettes en tissus et les clients envoyés par les concierges des palaces ne semblent pas désargentés . Pour le soir le cadre intérieur est superbe . Environ 150 € à deux .
07/04/2024: Totally recommended. In a great city with highly variable quality restaurant food and experience this place just nails it. It is classic high quality european dining. The menu is there to challenge and please as you wish with both traditional venetian and typical modern dishes. (e.g. Beef tongue or duck). Cooking is sophisticated. The service is exceptional. I'd imagine the tasting menu is exceptional but we went a la carte. The decor is warm and feels special. It's a bit expensive but not outrageous or in any way exploitative and worth every cent. You could visit with your partner or friends or family. Plently of options and price points. Special shout out to Stephane the somellier. A true partner to you and the restaurant to enhance your dining experience; give him free rein! I'll be back every time I come back to Venice. I rarely give 5 stars for anything.

01/04/2024: A place with a claim. I booked through Google Maps, they responded promptly. We were greeted warmly, all the waiters were incredibly attentive and helpful. The restaurant is not the largest, the atmosphere is pleasant, with increased comfort, there is a small wonderful terrace. They kindly offered prosecco for an aperitif. Then they brought a bread basket, although it did not contain the most delicious bread. But the Sauvignon Blanc was wonderful. And, despite the fact that I ordered a glass, they opened a new, perfectly chilled bottle in front of me. The thin grissini were the best. First they brought a compliment: arancini mini with basil cream. As an appetizer, I ordered baby squid with mashed peas. Well... the dish is about nothing. For main course - eel. It completely copied the banal unagi in marinade and glazing. Garnish: mashed potatoes. The portion is not very big. Not a masterpiece either. The choice of mille-feuille with orange cream for dessert was disappointing. The dough was too dry and there was a hint of salt; only the orange cream was tasty. We must pay tribute to the waiter: in response to my comment, he brought me a wonderful piece of homemade Colombo for coffee and deducted dessert from the bill. Overall, overpriced. I wouldn't go a second time.
