18/03/2026: Went here in March of 2026, our hotel recommended us to come here and it was one of the best restaurants we had in the city. The fish was perfectly cooked and so was the meat. The low ratings personally I think are wrong, this place is very good. BRO Recommendation.

The service was friendly with a warm, lively atmosphere. The food is tasty.

07/04/2026: When people tell you that the food in Venice is average, they clearly haven't been to the right places. This restaurant serves the freshest and tastiest seafood that you can get in the region at a reasonable price, alongside amazing traditional pasta dishes with good portion sizes.
Me and my wife came here tonight for the third time and were even more impressed than the previous time. While the waiter doesn't speak English very well, he was still cordial and cateedto all our wishes.
The menu is in Italian, but there's an English QR code menu that you can ask for. The atmosphere is amazing, especially on the terrace which is one of the most beautiful backyards I've ever seen. The owner of the restaurant is very sweet and you can tell that he cares about providing the best customer experience. We will come back every time we're in Venice. Thank you for the amazing experience!

06/02/2026: I loved the service and the Alfredo pasta was exquisite, the best pasta I've ever had. The pizzas were also delicious and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.
30/12/2025: Worst experience ever, the oil where they make the food it's old and taste and smell dreadfull. I was puking all the night. Run from this restaurant.
Even more, they charge us 170 Euro for 3 people with such bad quality, asking for a tip was just a joke.

15/04/2026: I went here on a solo cicchetti and wine date and it was perfect! The staff were very patient and helpful (as my Italian wasn’t the best) and helped me choose exactly what I wanted. Food was served quickly and the ambience for a true Venetian experience met my expectations. My favourite was the bacalhau mantecato!

07/04/2026: Very disappointing. The calamary ink pasta was very scarce, salty and sepia cold inside. Copperto was 4 euros, well above average and with no mention on menu ( lack of transparency) and a regular wine glass was 10 euros, more expensive than anywhere else, abusive. The only good dish was the insalara mista but cannot compensate for the rest..definitely the worst have been in Venise. Do not recommend.
01/04/2026: We went for dinner. It's a small place, the service is friendly, and the prices are high, but it's Venice. The food was so-so, and the polenta was lukewarm and barely warmed.

13/07/2025: Great, personal was very polite and positive. It was my wife’s birthday and I asked for a candle to put on a cake and they did more than that. When it was time for dessert, staff turned off all lights and started to sing - happy birthday, bringing a dessert with a candle on top of it.
For kids (2) we ordered a pica, they cuted in half and served for each of them, that was very thoughtful of them.
Great experience, thank goodness we had lunch in there.

14/07/2025: Non rispondono mai al telefono (provato una decina di volte alle ore di apertura). Siamo riusciti a prenotare solo tramite il personale dell’hotel che ci avrebbe ospitato!). Menù sulla carta abbastanza essenziale e piatti certo non all’altezza delle recensioni. Queste fatte molto probabilmente dagli abitue’ ai quali (vicino a noi) il personale proponeva piatti non compresi nel menù che ci era stato dato. Atteggiamento non particolarmente accogliente. Insomma lasciatelo alla loro clientela che forse è quello che vogliono!
Al lido c’è sicuramente di meglio!
07/07/2025: Immer wieder ein Erlebnis! Herzlicher Empfang und tolles Essen! Wir waren 2023 und dieses Jahr jeweils zweimal da! Die Qualität ist weiterhin TOP und man wird immer wieder positiv überrascht 😋🥰

22/07/2025: Box de fritures mixtes ( poissons, calamars, crevettes) à emporter. Bien frais, propres ( près tous les aliments avec une petite pince, que ce soit la polenta ou le morceau de citron)
Seulement deux petits bémols :
crevettes un peu trop cuites et le morceau de citron, il est servi sans l'écorce. C'est donc difficile de presser pour obtenir le jus sur les fruits de mer. Autrement très bien. Accueil sympa.
08/07/2025: Excelente comida callejera veneciana, rápida y fresca, excelentes mariscos, buena relación calidad-precio. El personal es amable y ofrece una amplia variedad de platos locales.

11/06/2025: Questa rosticceria era il mio mito da giovane sopratutto per le mozzarelle in carrozza. Ieri ci porto mio marito sicura di fare un ottima figura. Il ristorante al primo piano è chiuso e quindi devi accontentarti del self. E le mozzarelle sono diventate enormi impacchi dove cerchi a fatica un acciuga! Pasta e fagioli insipida, appena decente il risotto ai gamberetti. Che tristezza!
02/06/2025: Nos encantó la mitad de pollo. Mejor que la lasaña.
Incluso si no te gusta el pescado se puede encontrar una comida decente aquí. También tienen buen tiramisú.

And there's no way around it, they charge for them.
09/04/2026: They have enough food for 60 diners, and instead of opening the other part of the dining room, they usher you in there as if you were eating at everyone else's table. The food is expensive and poor quality. I recommend buying a pizza from the supermarket instead, as the one we ordered (Diabola) had chewy mozzarella and low-quality salami. And the lasagna? I won't even mention it 🤦♂️

21/06/2025: Das Rioba ist ne Achterbahn. Ich war sehr oft dort und leider hat die Küche keine konstante Leistung! Jetzt, mit Freunden/Gäste, leider wieder eine leichte Enttäuschung. Preis-/Leistung wurde nicht erbracht. Eins ist sicher, eine schöne Location am Kanal.
02/06/2025: Wir haben uns durch die Bewertungen, die doch recht weit auseinander liegen (von himmelhochjauchzend bis zu Tode betrübt) nicht abschrecken lassen und hier für unseren letzten Abend in Venedig einen Tisch bestellt. Leider. Vorspeisen (Viererlei von Meeresfrüchten) und Fisch-Hauptgang waren durchweg geschmacksarm, die Nudeln als Zwischengang gingen einigermaßen aber waren auch kein wirkliches Highlight. Man gibt sich Mühe, von den Portionsgrössen und der Art anzurichten wie gehobene Küche daherzukommen - aber geschmacklich stimmt es leider vorn und hinten nicht. Preis-Leistung ebenfalls. Italienische Gäste waren dort nicht anzutreffen - aus gutem Grund. Kurz gesagt: Touristenfalle. Besser wegbleiben.

07/04/2026: The out side dining is set on a beautiful canal, but inside is just very plain. My wife and I ordered a glass of wine. She ordered a rosé. I ordered a Chardonnay and when they came, they brought a full bottle of each that was already opened. They poured our wine at the table and I thought they were just pouring us a glass like we ordered but no then they said we ordered the whole bottle. When we finish, we asked for the car for our wine to take the rest of the bottle and they said they could not find one to fit. The bruschetta was very plain, and the rest of the food was just tolerable. When it came time to pay, our waiter could not take a card because only one guy can do that and he was outside smoking a cigarette. There are too many other good restaurants to choose from than taking a chance on this place.
05/04/2026: Walid was an amazing server who cared about our service and experience. Would 100% come back here for drinks and appetizers. Friendly staff right by the water where you get amazing views!

30/04/2025: Siamo tornati in questo ristorante dopo due anni dalla prima volta, ma siamo rimasti meno soddisfatti:menu meno vario, qualità della cucina mediocre(il fegato alla veneziana era troppo asciutto) , rapporto qualità prezzo non soddisfacente
22/04/2025: Sulla location non si discute, sarà pure un ottimo posto per un aperitivo, ma se ti fermi per cena troverai prezzi esosi e un buco nello stomaco a causa di porzioni bonsai. Ok posso pure accettare che in questo posto non vai per sfamarti ma allora non chiamare nel menu un piatto " piovra" quando poi servi quattro (dico n° 4) piccoli tentacoli bolliti di polpo (scongelato riscaldato ) con ai quattro angoli del piatto quattro (dico n° 4) puntine di cavolo romanesco con una salsina gialla per 24,80 euro ! Non presentarti con il "fegato alla venexiana" quando devi andarlo a cercare in un angolino del piatto e che in due forchettate sparisce 22,80 euro! Ho chiesto 2 calici di vino della casa e mi hai portato due calici dai quali aveva evidentemente gia' bevuto qualcuno essendoci solo il fondo (massimo 1,5 cm di altezza)! Ma come puoi farmi pagare un piatto di pasta aglio ed olio 20,80 euro? Ok ti pago la location ma il biglietto per visitare il Palazzo dei Dogi costa meno! e poi il piatto di amatriciana 20,80 euro lo hai colorato con polvere di oro o per principio ogni primo piatto deve costare questa cifra? Ma il biglietto per cenare vista canal Grande non te lo avevo già pagato col coperto? 4 euro a persona! Caro Ristoratore , se prenoto una cena presso il tuo locale é perché voglio passare una bella serata con la mia famiglia, Immagino che mangerò bene e sono ben predisposto a spendere, so bene che non ho prenotato presso un agriturismo, ho scelto io di cenare in un posto unico, ma se il cibo che mi porti è scarso in qualità e quantità, se il livello della tua cucina non va oltre la pasta aglio, olio e peperoncino allora.....
