18/07/2025: Il ristorante ha, dei tavoli all' aperto, il menù non è ampio ma con prodotti di qualità. Gli affettati, e la guancia molto erano buoni. Bisogna prenotare specialmente quando ci sono feste a Spello.

12/07/2025: Mooi terras en vriendelijke bediening! Eten werd vlot aan tafel gebracht en we kregen een leuk aperitiefje. Fijn restaurant als je in de streek bent!

06/08/2025: Restaurants complain that they can't find the staff, that the kids don't want to work!!! But when you find the kids who are willing, you treat them badly, you yell at them, you humiliate them... you should just be ashamed of yourself.

05/08/2025: The one-star reduction is due to a delay in service, an unfortunate circumstance for which the staff apologized. We tried the pasta dishes (passatelli, bucatini, tagliatelle), which were good and substantial. Both the side dish and dessert were delicious.

09/08/2025: We decided well in advance to have a reunion in Valsorda after many years of absence, and we chose the restaurant da Clelia even though we had never been there. I had an organizational discussion with the manager, a certain Mrs. Marianna, who recommended from the beginning that we order the set menu, but since there were 16 of us and not 160, I replied that we would do à la carte, and precisely for this reason I repeatedly asked for a reference menu, which never arrived. On the day of lunch, the place was certainly not crowded, and the friendly but rather brusque waiter practically forced us to choose the set menu with two first courses, which not everyone ordered due to conflicting tastes, and a second course. The red wine was warm, the white barely chilled, and there was no ice bucket. Finally, for dessert, they only brought one, which was passable, and when we asked for more desserts, the waiter replied that the kitchen was closed. For 16 of us, they could close the entire restaurant. Finally, when we asked for a proper receipt (€700) and not just the courtesy one... the wait was embarrassing. See you never again and good luck....you really need it

25/07/2025: If you're visiting Assisi, Hotel la Rocca is a strategic choice. It's located right at the top of the historic center, and since Assisi is a very steep city, you can easily explore it by walking downhill, passing all the points of interest, starting with the Duomo, which is just steps away, and then continuing down to the church of San Francesco. If you're lazy (like me), once you've explored the city, you can take the city bus C to the upper terminus, just steps from the hotel. The same bus also takes you to the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the train station. Everything is within easy reach. The hotel is also close to the Rocca Maggiore, which can be reached via a short, pleasant, uphill walk. The restaurant is excellent, offering delicious, hearty lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. The restaurant terrace offers a breathtaking view. The staff is friendly and helpful.

18/06/2025: Out of all the places we stayed, this was the one we were most disappointed with. Bed was representative of the hotel's name. Staff was least welcoming and we had the most diffulty in communication at meals.

07/07/2025: Lekker eten, niet een al te uitgebreide menukaart maar de gerechten die er waren, waren goed! Vriendelijke bediening en mooi terras!

02/07/2025: Bad experience, run by incompetent girls, ordered a simple ice cream at the table, a waitress left after I asked for it twice. Asked another one who ended up eating it herself. Finally a third girl arrived who managed to do it (hazelnut and chocolate flavored cone). When I went to pay the cashier was on the phone and seemed annoyed too ... highly discouraged

13/08/2025: This open-air restaurant is right in the historic center. I had a delicious tagliata steak, super tender and flavorful. I highly recommend it. The service was good, with reasonable wait times and friendly, helpful staff. Prices are a bit high.

10/08/2025: Best carbonara I ever had! Elegant place, friendly and quick service. LOVED the plates. Authentic! Perfecto :-)
