06/08/2026: A lovely place, especially in the evening: busy, spacious, convenient parking, friendly and welcoming staff, and a wide selection of food and drinks. As for the prices of the appetizers, I turn up my nose at the small bowl of taralli with just a few pieces inside for €2.50, or even less so, the soft olives for €3, and I'm shocked. The chips are good, but still a bit small for €5. We should all get our feet on the ground for a moment when it comes to prices and quantities.

06/06/2026: We have been dining at Rossi’s for years. Our love-hate relationship is borne from the unpredictable service you receive from the two-owner brothers who have been running the establishment for years. Surly and rather disengaging. Not characteristics commensurate with front of house behavior. In spite of themselves, the Tratoria has prospered and grown over the years and I attribute this to the quality of the food. Typical Umbrian, simple and therefore always delicious. Testament to this is that most diners are local and regulars! How much more of a regular we would be if the two brothers attended a Dale Carnegie course on how to Win Friends and Influence people! Hell, I would even pay for it!

13/07/2026: A very popular place, excellent, but perhaps I was expecting something more. The atmosphere is rustic, but perhaps it lacks a bit of identity and character. The appetizer buffet is very good, perhaps one of the best, although the wait can be quite long. The gnocchi al vino were truly worth it; the rest of the first and second courses were good but not exceptional. Overall, though, the first courses beat the second courses. The desserts are forgettable. €47 per person with a full menu and a few bottles of wine (for a group).

01/01/2026: An inn nestled in the green Umbrian hills near Montefalco, with an adjoining guesthouse. Found completely by chance, it turned out to be a huge stroke of luck. Welcoming, intimate, very rustic and warm, the restaurant proved to be an incredible refuge on a bitterly cold New Year's Eve evening, offering a rich and unique à la carte menu drawing on local specialties. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish and were delighted by the attentive and courteous staff, who were incredibly helpful and attentive to the needs and schedules of each table. The price was completely in line with the service and quality of the dishes offered. The panettone, of course, homemade with all-natural and local ingredients, with creams, recommended for dessert, was so good that we purchased one separately at the end of the dinner. Worth noting was the great humanity and sensitivity shown during an unpleasant situation between a couple at a nearby table. With great tact and delicacy, a very subtle intervention was implemented, which completely resolved the situation. I take my hat off to the attentive service from the owner/chef and the staff. Overall, therefore, a 10+++ rating. Not much to report, but a truly delightful discovery. Congratulations, well done!

14/07/2026: A simply extraordinary experience! We had lunch at the Duca Federico da Montefeltro Restaurant and were completely captivated. Gaetano welcomed us with great professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness, making us feel pampered from start to finish. He took care of every detail, from choosing the table to the impeccable service, making our lunch truly special. The location is enchanting: dining in the church cloister, surrounded by splendid medieval buildings, is like taking a journey back in time. The atmosphere is elegant, relaxing, and full of charm. The dishes are excellent: quality ingredients, meticulous presentation, and authentic flavors that showcase local traditions. Each course captivates the palate with flavor, balance, and refinement. A sincere compliment to the entire staff and a special thank you to Gaetano for making this an unforgettable experience. If you visit Gubbio, this restaurant is a must-see. We will definitely be back!

30/06/2026: We were greeted with extreme kindness by a young waiter who even kindly offered to carry our little girl's stroller down to the garden, a gesture we greatly appreciated (and which, admittedly, rarely happens!). The view of the Palazzo dei Consoli is incredibly evocative, the restaurant immaculately clean and well-kept, the dishes delicious (especially the truffle ones!!!), and the menu extremely varied. The restaurant is recommended for couples with children, both for the menu selection and the spaciousness of the space. The young owner, Mr. Gaetano, was extremely kind, and we thank him very much for his warm welcome! We hope to return to Gubbio soon to taste your delicious truffle dishes and enjoy the breathtaking view from Don Matteo's garden. 🤍 Thanks again!

04/06/2026: A beautiful old building with very well-maintained rooms and a good breakfast. The friendly owner also speaks English and is attentive to the guests' well-being. We felt very comfortable. For dinner, we walked 10 minutes to the old town center.

08/08/2026: We visited this osteria at the recommendation of locals and can't wait to return. We were welcomed without formality and made to feel at the center of an ancient ritual. Not just a simple interpretation of Emilian cuisine, but a true act of love for its most authentic flavors, stripped of any superfluous rusticity and presented with impeccable composure. The dishes are works of artisanal art: from the tortellini sheets, expertly rolled with a rolling pin, to the carefully selected cured meats. But I'd like to give special mention to the strozzapreti, with their flavors both bold and refined. An essential stop for those seeking the most authentic, noble, and convivial soul of Emilia.

05/08/2026: The location is a bit remote, but that's not always a bad thing. Parking isn't a lot along the street, but with a little patience, you can find one. There are plenty of tables both inside and out: inside, on the veranda, and in the courtyard. The menu is classic, and what we ordered was good: crescentine with cured meats, grilled meats, and desserts, paired with one of the many wines available. The service is attentive but not pushy.

09/05/2026: Simply a stunningly beautiful place. We arrived by bike, just the two of us, and spent one night. The rooms are great and the place has a historic feel. We had a very good meal in the restaurant. Definitely highly recommended.
