17/05/2024: This was the best restaurant that we had in Florence thanks to a recommendation from a friend! Not only is the energy of the staff lovely, but the meal itself was something we will never forget. I doubt that there will be anything from this menu that you will not love. We had artichoke hearts and fried chicken which had the best cooked chicken I’ve ever had. We also had some delicious zucchini salad, ravioli, a beautiful filet, and raspberry tiramisu. In the end, we wished that we had booked this restaurant for two nights. You will definitely need reservations!

15/05/2024: Incontournable restaurant pour un séjour florentin. Accueil chaleureux de toute l'équipe et en particulier du patron. La carte restreinte vous guide vers des plats savoureux : assiette de charcuterie en entrée, fafardelle au canard ou autres pâtes fraiches en primer plati, tripes succulentes et bien épicées ou boulettes en seconde plati , carte des vins abordable ( début de carte très satisfaisant à 30 €) et une grappa "barrique" à se damner pour finir. Total de 90 € pour 2 2 plats / personne + vin et digestif . Foncez dans ce resto avec réservation , il suffit de passer la veille sinon.... ( pour les fans , Madonna est l'égérie de l'extraordinaire boss du lieu et vous risquez de l'entendre en fond sonore😉) .

28/05/2024: Restaurant with very good service, they attended to us in Spanish. The food was very delicious, typical dishes and they had a great variety of wines.

14/05/2024: Their tagliatelle with truffle is one of the best i haver tasted so far! The people were extremely kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was also quite attractive. I have nothing to complain about :)

03/04/2024: TLDR: the wild boar (which their restaurant is named for) was so dry that it was inedible 1.5 stars We got in at 6pm without a reservation. We were seated quickly and ordered a mixed salad, pasta with ragu and the wild boar. The mixed salad was small for 7 euros but fine it’s a salad, no big deal. The pasta ragu was a basic spaghetti with meat and tomato sauce. Nothing special again, but not too bad. The wild boar however came and immediately I saw what the portion was and how it was cut and it didn’t look good. There were four tiny pieces (1/2 of each piece was bone) and I knew it would be dry. I cut one of the pieces off the bone and cut the meat in half. It was bone dry. I put it in my mouth to chew and it hurt my jaw. I chewed it to oblivion and tried to swallow, needed water. I ate one of the roast potatoes and it was so salty. I told the girl to take away the plate of food, she didn’t seem to notice I didn’t eat any of it. Only when she returned to take away my partner’s plate did she ask if everything was ok before we told her the issues. They ended up taking it off the bill. Even though they took it off our bill, it still deserves a 1.5 star to me. One, I had to sit there and eat nothing while my partner ate. Two, they didn’t even notice until we told them that there was something wrong, they should know taking a full plate away two minutes after they brought it to us there was an issue. Three, the other restaurant we could have went to was full by the time I arrived

01/06/2024: This restaurant should have higher reviews. Their food is the best we’ve had in a week in Florence. They have the wine window for your pictures/videos. Their truffle pasta and truffle carpaccio were our favorite dishes. Staff is very friendly (let’s be honest it’s not always friendly in Florence)…..highly recommend

03/04/2024: I ordered a leg of lamb with artichokes and was served another side with overcooked artichokes, perhaps reheated Easter remains? My friend ordered mixed fried food with brains, but no trace of brains, but in his opinion it was good.

01/04/2024: Typical restaurant 10 minutes from Florence, on the first hills. Possibility to choose the classic Florentine or other typical dishes, very good cuts.

07/06/2024: Bad experience.. I do not recommend this restaurant. Endless waiting, poor quality service. We waited in line for an hour, finally being seated, we called waiters but everyone threw the ball at each other and our order was taken after 20 minutes. Thinking that the wait was finally over, we were served late starters plus main courses. The icing on the cake is that the waitress has the wrong dish, and of course the dish in question costs 9 euros more than the initial dish. I don't return it for fear of being served the next day. To summarize, if you are hungry and want to eat properly, run away.

07/06/2024: Such a nice find! Glad we reserved! Although their service is super quick and very well organised. Our waiter was lovely and very attentive, with recommendations on what to order. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. My fillet steak with peppers was cooked to perfection and was 18€ ;) Would highly recommend!

05/04/2024: The food here is molto buono. I’ve gone back several times since staying in the Oltrarno area. There is always a line to get in, so get there before it opens. With reduced size plates available I can handle a secondi when I’m solo. Mangia! 😋🐙🍷🍝

11/05/2024: After reading all the reviews, we really thought we were eating quality food. Very disappointed by this restaurant, flavorless pasta, bordering on reheated. We recognized no taste of Italy and no warmth in the welcome.

05/05/2024: The food was not bad but the waitress was very unfriendly. They sent us to a room in the basement without internet and forgot to come and serve us. He made a mistake with the dessert and when we complained to him he gave us a very bad face. We did not feel comfortable for the price we paid.

26/05/2024: If you want to eat delicious Italian food, definitely go to this Trattoria. Their Florentine steak is absolutely amazing. The service is excellent. Away from the tourist part. Mostly Italians.

10/05/2024: I tried this restaurant on the recommendation of acquaintances, to taste the Florentine steak. The place is small, booking is practically mandatory, if you don't want to risk not finding a seat. The welcome is informal but warm: the waiters, despite being busy serving the different tables, do not fail to make you feel like a welcome guest. The food is good: the steak was tender and juicy, just one was enough for two, accompanied by a couple of side dishes and followed by a dessert (just for gluttony, we were full enough... but how could you say no to Cantuccini and Vin Santo? ). The price is average for the type of place: from what I could see by walking around the streets and comparing prices, it is cheaper than the other options. The only not entirely positive note is that the place has no toilets: or rather, there is a bathroom, but it is in the entrance hall of a building on the corner of the street and you need to be accompanied by the staff to access it. Let's say it's one of the strangest experiences that's ever happened to me :-)

08/05/2024: This is my favorite restaurant in Florence. The riccioli is my favorite pasta I think I have ever had in my life. Definitely give this place a try!

29/05/2024: Unfortunately, one of the waiters was very taciturn, which could be described as borderline unfriendly. The food was ok, but we had eaten better in Florence the days before. The ambience and furnishings are nice, the toilet is the cleanest in a restaurant I have ever seen in all of Italy.
