Friendly and welcoming staff, a clean and tidy atmosphere. Located in the central square of the former Solvay village, on the enchanting hills overlooking the sea.

11/04/2026: A truly lovely little place just steps from Piazza del Campo. Excellent value for money, well-executed traditional dishes, and friendly and attentive staff. We tried the charcuterie and cheese platter, followed by tagliatelle with ragù and ribollita. Everything was excellent 🙌🏼

20/05/2026: We arrived around noon to just have a glass of wine with some cheese. We were the only ones there since it was early . The server, who we think was the owner told us they had extra artichoke and if we wanted to finish it, we could have it free . We happily accepted. Then she asked us what else we wanted to order for a meal . We told her just the wine and cheese was all. She loudly said No Food, scowled, turned and stormed away, obviously angry. From then on, we were ignored and she never brought the artichoke that she had offered earlier . We have had great, friendly service in all of the restaurants except for this place.

17/05/2026: We stopped for breakfast and the coffee was delicious, we repeated. And the sandwiches are also very good, they cut the sausage for you when preparing the sandwich. Everything was very good and the staff was very friendly and pleasant.

27/04/2026: Having come to Vinci for the exhibition on the centenary of the death of Count Giulio Massetti, we looked for a quiet place away from the crowded center... so here we are at the La Limonaia restaurant, which is part of the Alexandra hotel. It's a bit dated but comfortable. The appetizer with cold cuts wasn't exciting. The farinata and the pappa al pomodoro were good. I enjoyed the spaghetti with clams, which was well mixed and had a bit too much oil, but better than dry. The fried artichokes were too soaked in oil. I would re-cook them and put a sheet of paper on the plate to absorb the oil. I also enjoyed the torta della nonna, which is homemade. The service was excellent. We were pampered and served admirably. They remade my spaghetti because we took too long to eat the appetizer. A kindness that I appreciated and thanked. The prices are more than fair, it's not exciting, but for the service, I recommend it.

19/05/2026: Excellent place to enjoy a delicious meal in a welcoming atmosphere with great service. The waiter was very friendly and his suggestions were very welcome. The cheese board to share is an excellent starter, and the individual pasta dishes are very good. We will definitely return if we are ever in Florence again.

28/04/2025: L'esperienza mia e della mia amica alla Trattoria Sant'Omobono è stata a dir poco superlativa. Siamo stati trattati benissimo dal cameriere Nicolò che si è preso cura di noi durante tutta la serata. Il cibo era squisito e la vista sulla cucina da una finestrella era qualcosa di poetico e caratteristico. È stato un piacere per gli occhi vedere i nostri piatti preparati con così tanto amore. Il posto non sarà molto capiente ma mangiare in un ambiente così intimo è solo che positivo a mio parere. Da provare assolutamente se si visita Pisa. Grazie ancora a chi ci lavora, in particolare a Nicolò🫶🏻 Ps cucina ovviamente tradizionale

18/04/2025: Este restaurante aparece en varias listas de 'los mejores restaurantes de Pisa', pero es difícil ver por qué. Es tradicional pero también muy básico. Esto no quiere decir que sea malo, pero si usted está buscando algo más que una comida barata, 'satisfactoria', yo buscaría en otro lugar. No hay carta de vinos, hay un menú corto para la comida, y la comida en sí está "bien", pero nada especial. El precio sin embargo es muy bueno, así que si usted está buscando una cena asequible, este es el lugar!
