08/11/2025: The atmosphere is a bit dated, but the food makes all the difference! Excellent value for money. I recommend it.

01/11/2025: A restaurant serving traditional Tuscan cuisine where you can truly enjoy the tranquility and delicious food. We ate at this historic trattoria and found the steak to be truly excellent, but the chicken was phenomenal. You absolutely have to order the baked potatoes; they were wonderful, and we even asked for seconds. Generous portions and homemade desserts. The tiramisu, made just like it used to be, is amazing. Not to mention the staff, who were truly friendly.

05/11/2025: We'd been to this restaurant before and had fond memories of it. We returned specifically for this, but we didn't find the same quality of food. The ribollita with black cabbage was good, but it was really too flavorful, or rather salty. The pici with Chianina beef and red wine were decent, but nothing special, even though the portions were decidedly generous. Considering we came here specifically for this place, we wouldn't return.

03/11/2025: It's confirmed as a potentially great place. The food is good. The prices are fair. But the service is terrible!!! The blonde woman exudes dislike and a hunger for money. She stuffs the place with more than her maximum serving size. She squeezes people into the dining room like sardines, then forces everyone to order the same or nearly the same items, then brings them to you on shared trays that are difficult to verify. The bill arrives without any details, just the number of starters or main courses (everything has its price), which is indecipherable. And if you pay in cash, round up, otherwise she says they have a lot of commissions and nothing... but who asked for anything? In our case, it would have been better not to say anything about the bill, since no discount was requested, and above all, fewer people in the crowded dining room would have made a better impression. Terrible experience.

17/11/2025: We went with friends for a birthday lunch. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, the cooking was perfect (honorable mention for the tagliata), and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back, highly recommended!!!

18/09/2025: Everything was really good, the waiters were very nice and attentive... the gluten-free pici with ragù were delicious, and the Margherita pizza was excellent.

07/10/2025: Traveling through central Italy and wandering the streets of beautiful Anghiari, I stumbled upon this place by chance. I found the authentic Tuscan osteria, just what I was looking for. A wonderful experience. Excellent food. I'll be back...🍷

05/10/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal at Da Alighiero. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. Highly recommended and will return before we leave Anghiari.

11/09/2024: my husband and I stayed at this inn for a few days at the end of August. We booked the same day of arrival and the owner Mr. Alessio was very helpful in welcoming us (which is not to be taken for granted for a small accommodation facility) so for this reason our first thanks go. The Tuscan-style room was welcoming, spacious, quiet and above all very clean. Varied breakfast in the morning served on the terrace of the inn with a panoramic view of the Maremma hinterland. We have always had dinner at the inn as the food is all homemade by Alessio's family and it is all absolutely delicious and the price is more than appropriate. I will certainly recommend to anyone coming to the area to take advantage of this true hospitality of both the owner and his parents, very courteous people and always available for a chat. Precise only for those who want to have a beach holiday in the surrounding areas, from the village of Buriano which has the timeless charm of times gone by, it takes about 20 minutes by car. thank you very much.

28/08/2024: Ritornato a cenare in questo locale, dopo esserci stati la prima volta pochi anni fa: il buon ricordo è stato confermato. Vengono proposti piatti tipici della zona, dove in particolare i pici ed i tortelli svettano (fatti a mano). Altra specialità del locale e la carne, che viene cotta alla griglia. Nel fuori menù, degni di nota i fiori di zucca ripieni di ricotta (che fortunatamente ho avuto modo di trovare anche stavolta). Oltre a qualche vino di etichetta, viene proposto anche un vino di loro produzione (a mio avviso degno di essere provato). Dolci della tradizione italiana, anche quelli preparati dal locale. Gradevole l'area esterna (dove sono accolti anche i cani), al pari della veranda panoramica e della sala. Conto adeguato (non economico, ma neppure eccessivo) ai piatti ed ai locali. Se in zona, consigliato.

Special mention goes to the tasty, melt-in-your-mouth burger, enhanced with incomparably fresh mozzarella, and the perfectly mastered accompaniments. The Tuscan Borrigiano wine paired wonderfully with the meal, thanks to the team's expert advice. The service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and warm. The setting, both modern and cozy, invites you to fully savor every moment. A must-visit address in Florence, which we recommend without the slightest hesitation.

17/11/2025: I celebrated my son's confirmation there. Set menu Everything was excellent, the service impeccable. The staff were kind, attentive, and friendly. Beautiful atmosphere and intimate rooms, perfect for spending time with family and, if you prefer, even in peace. Excellent food, everything was tasty and plentiful. I will definitely return with family and friends.

29/10/2025: A welcoming and rustic Tuscan restaurant, located in a charming country farmhouse. "A Mangia' Fora" offers hearty traditional dishes, cooked with passion and fresh ingredients. The Florentine steak and Tuscan antipasti are a must-try. Friendly service, a lively atmosphere, and fair prices.

02/10/2025: The sirloin was good, but I've had better (even in Tuscany). The service could be improved, as they started us half an hour after ordering because some of the sauces weren't available. They also delivered the dishes at different times, so we couldn't all eat at the same time. Good, but there's room for improvement.

27/09/2025: The food was excellent. I had the exceptional pici with ragù, the meatballs with sauce were also good, and the Chianina rib eye steak was delicious! Of course, you pay for quality, and it's not exactly cheap, but I'll definitely be back. The waitresses and owner were kind and helpful. Recommended.

30/09/2025: Very nice place, we went for lunch, it's a very well-kept location with wonderful greenery. Excellent cuisine with a traditional menu but the dishes are very well prepared.

12/07/2025: We were here for a wedding. The location is gorgeous, the food is quality. The portions aren't very generous, even though they're reheated. The staff is kind and helpful, though not all of them are very professional.

11/09/2025: We stopped by for lunch during a stop in Rapolano. The food was excellent, and the photos on the walls portraying Rapolano from times gone by were beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful.

18/10/2025: I'd been eyeing this restaurant for a while, which I think is located in one of Rome's most beautiful areas. Having lived there for years, my friends and I decided we were craving Tuscan cuisine. The place looks good, the waiters are skilled, and the food is excellent. It's certainly lacking in regional dishes, but we found the meat and appetizers excellent. It's a place with just the right amount of intimacy and an extensive wine list, albeit a bit overpriced. A pleasant escape from Roman cuisine.

12/07/2025: Siamo stati nuovamente in questo piccolo locale. Che dire, tutto veramente buono. Dagli antipasti, ai primi, ai secondi e ai dolci. Tutto veramente incredibile. Pici con pomodori e guanciale veramente ottimi. Guancia come un burro, si scioglieva letteralmente in bocca. Nn c'era bisogno di masticarla. Dolci meravigliosi. Tutto accompagnato da ottimo vino di Montepulciano. Personale e proprietario molto simpatici e attenti. Prezzi giusti per la qualità e la quantità servita. Locale super consigliato in una delle piazze più caratteristiche di Pienza. Complimenti a tutti. Ci torneremo molto presto.

01/07/2025: Restaurante muy agradable, el camarero habla excelente inglés y explica bien los platos. Iba a elegir la carne de cerdo, pero como mencionó que era un corte graso del cuello cambié de opinión ya que mi condición médica significa que no digiero la grasa fácilmente y termino en una cantidad increíble de dolor si lo como. Después de tantos años, ni siquiera me gusta el sabor pero eso es secundario y no siento la necesidad de explicar. Estoy agradecido por la información adicional, pero fue un gran salto para él volver los ojos y asumir que querría el filete bien hecho. No, medio raro está bien, simplemente no puedo arriesgarme a comer carne grasa pero me sentí juzgado.
