12/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, we liked it so much that we returned for all 3 days of our stay in Siena. It was one of our favorites during our trip to Italy. Highlights included the Pici cacio e pepe and the perfect lamb chop!

01/05/2026: This restaurant you need to avoid at all costs. The food was so bad it is better to eat a sandwich from the supermarket if you are hungry. We ate some pasta with ragu, tasted as they were made from pe-maid tin sauce and gnocchi with guanciale- maybe there were 10 very very tiny pieces of it, everything else was a disastrous sauce tasted as from a tin from the supermarket. And at the end, we found out that the wine per glass was about 10 eur, which made the final review of 1 star. Of course the menu for drinks was not presented at the table. Horrible.

29/03/2026: Both meat and fish menus. Dishes are both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The ingredients are top-quality. Recommended by friends, it turned out to be not only an excellent recommendation but a pleasant discovery. We'll definitely be returning, especially in the summer when the outdoor seating is open.

31/05/2026: It was May 17th, and after a lovely walk, we arrived at Cerù. Forty or fifty years ago, if I remember correctly, it was owned by the same company as the eponymous cured meat factory. It was a restaurant and offered rooms for rent. The current management doesn't rent rooms, and the actual restaurant is closed, but they serve cold dishes and also high-quality frozen products from a renowned Camaiore brand that are heated in the microwave... others do, but don't mention it. The bar has a large panoramic terrace and is an almost obligatory stop for hikers and mountain bikers. I remember we had a selection of hot and cold appetizers, and to follow, I had an excellent eggplant parmigiana... yes, sure, frozen and heated in the microwave, but truly excellent. The service wasn't restaurant-like, but it was friendly, not formal, just right for a bar that also offers food. I wouldn't call the price "cheap," but for the quality, quantity, and location, I'd say it was just right. I don't give it five stars on principle: the perfect place probably doesn't exist.

03/05/2026: A lovely lunch with sun streaming through the windows. Food was fresh and delicious and service was friendly. Very charming part of town with hill side views.

13/04/2026: A place found by chance after a trip to the Tarot Garden, everything was very good, the quality of the products and the truffle in particular was very good, also the desserts were very good.

04/05/2026: Unfortunately, I'm on a diet and maybe it wasn't the right time to try this place... anyway, they made me stick to my diet... it's a shame about the high prices... I think the experience is worthwhile and unique... highly recommended for those who want to eat little and pay a lot.

20/04/2026: A very charming and welcoming place, perfect for a dinner with friends; the wide selection of wines is the restaurant's highlight. In fact, choosing a wine is a true experience because there's no wine list; they invite you to choose directly from their selection (which is truly immense!!!). Each wine is priced per bottle; an interesting idea. The only flaw is that when it came time to choose, I found myself sitting at two very large tables in front of the wines and I only managed to see a few bottles, so we ended up asking the staff for recommendations. The dishes, which blend tradition and innovation, are also excellent.

09/05/2026: A quaint stone restaurant. I ordered fried meat, and I must say, unfortunately, that the dish was inedible. The pieces of meat, although quite good, were too large and poorly fried. A dish that needs reconsidering. My wife ordered an octopus burger with fries. The fries were all burnt and cold. Inedible. The dessert was good.

08/04/2026: Warm welcome, perfect service, and attention to detail. Excellent food, Tuscan ingredients and products. The location is unique, in an old building with just a few tables, which makes it even more special! Top.

09/11/2025: We visited this restaurant during our stay in Siena. Everything was good, in the best sense of the word. The ribollita and pici were tasty, without too many frills, and they kept us company like an old friend who may not surprise, but never disappoints. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet.

25/04/2026: We had a wonderful time! We had lunch today, April 25th, with 13 adults and as many children. They welcomed us with great joy, like family... impeccable service from kind and qualified staff. Excellent food accompanied by excellent wine. For a truly fair price. The location is also surrounded by nature. Thanks to Rosario and all his staff, we'll definitely be back!

23/03/2026: A very positive experience, especially the food: delicate and tasty artichoke and white ragù lasagna, a divine peposo like I've rarely tasted (and I've tasted quite a few), the service and atmosphere were top notch...

09/06/2026: A pleasant surprise along the way to our destination. The lady who runs the place was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and plentiful.

02/06/2026: A quick lunch stop during a two-day bike ride. The place is quite large with an outdoor loggia under the road. The staff were friendly. We had tagliatelle with white Chianina beef ragù and porcini mushrooms, both excellent. The sandwiches and the chef's warm schiacciata were also good. Water, wine, and coffee were also good, and the price was reasonable.

25/05/2026: A very nice place, small and intimate, very well-maintained and with quality service. Excellent menu selection, though the flavors could be slightly improved. Good wine cellar. More than fair price. A place to return without a doubt.

25/04/2026: We had lunch today, April 25th, featuring two Tuscan platters: fusilli with Pisan ragù and tonnarelli cacio e pepe, chocolate flan, and tiramisu. Compliments, everything was truly delicious; the fusilli were amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and tidy with outdoor seating. If you want to eat well, this osteria is a must.

03/05/2026: Value is often perceived relative to similar meals in your own country. I found our meal offered good value accompanied by good, friendly service. We enjoyed three lovely courses accompanied by delicious Chianti Reserva (€28 per bottle).

03/06/2026: We ate at their place twice, once with takeout and once in-store. Their pizzas were so delicious! And only 10 euros! Oh my god!! It's a hidden gem; I'll definitely eat there again next time I'm in the area.
