28/08/2024: Went in here for no other reason than hungry and walking by. Was the best decision ever. My fiancée is gluten intolerant so we went for steak and potatoes Sharing platter at €45 and it was out of this world. Every bite including the fat which I normally cut off and throw away was full of flavour and just melted In the mouth. The steak was Chianina which I've never heard off but now will look out for. This has ruined me for life as that will be the best steak I ever eat. The restaurant also has an open kitchen so you can watch them wrestle and cook the mammoth steaks in front of your eyes. The staff were fantastic as well. Please go if your walking by

13/08/2024: In the heart of Montepulciano a unique restaurant with a unique atmosphere. Atmosphere made even more special by the patron PierLuigi (who also turned out to be an excellent tenor) Superb cuisine, in a characteristic location.

27/08/2024: Place located very centrally in Lucca with a (paid) car park nearby. Really tasty food, portions well suited to the price with little choice for vegan/vegetarian friends. The only flaw was that it may have been a complicated evening (it happens to everyone) but the waiting times for the various dishes were well extended; the management of external spaces could be improved. If you're not in a hurry, a great place to eat mouth-watering dishes.

07/08/2024: Good atmosphere. Very well done pastas. But this is where things start going down hill…. The mains were absolutely beyond disgusting. No flavor, and if there was a flavor it was chemical - like the pepper sauce was made out of a powder package. The chicken with mustard looks like a meal you cook as a student at university….. dry and without a soul. The steak was a good size and well cooked, but the pepper sauce tasted like dish soap - and not the good kind…. Very very very disappointed given this was a recommendation from our hotel. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to dine there for mains. Pasta only - nothing else. We had the lasagna, paccheri and pappardelle- they were delicious, cooked to perfection and really well done. For mains we had the beef filet, the tagliata, the carpaccio and the chicken - all of them were just tasteless and beyond disgusting as I mentioned earlier. Sides were not a hit at all either….. below average at best… we had the grilled vegetables, which looked sadder than Memorial Day…. And the green salad - was like a bunch of wilted flowers at the end of the summer…. The wine - which was supposed to be a great Tuscan wine- was boiling hot - we had it in ice for 15 minutes to get it to a normal drinking temperature but it was already ruined because it was not stored properly and just didn’t taste that well at all….. Hands down - one of the worst food experiences I’ve had - proving over and over again that Italian food isn’t that great and just overrated - when it’s mostly tasteless and just not good… This one is my fault- I should’ve done better research- but hope with this review, other people won’t fall into this trap. - like I disappointed my friends on the last night of our roadtrip together!

30/07/2024: Appena tornato da un pranzo ottimo. Un assaggio di pappa al pomodoro e poi un tris di primi ad ora tarda a pranzo composto dalla pasta lorda che è piatto antico e squisito, tortelli di patate e tagliatelle ai funghi. Amaro della casa, cantucci e vin santo. Tutto sopraffino e un servizio caldo e accogliente. Da vegetariano mi sono trovato benissimo, il locale ha una bella terrazza estiva e all'interno è storico, bello, toscanissimo e, soprattutto, autentico. È stata la prima volta su consiglio di un amico ma sarà la prima di una lunga serie.

24/07/2024: O melhor restaurante que já comi na vida. Atendimento é feito com tanto carinho e atenção que me parece que estou em casa. Não deixe de provar a nuvola com mortadela e pistache. Comi coelho e estava incrível. Para terminar uma crostata de ricota de pecora, ah e o vinho santo que não pode faltar. Este restaurante tem uma memória afetiva muito grande para mim, mas sem a atmosfera e o carinho que somos recebidos nada disso teria o mesmo sabor!

17/07/2024: Locale molto bello. Personale professionale. FINALMENTE un ristorante che ha il menù stagionale e che cambia mensilmente, ma perché nessuno lo fa? 10 punti! Piatti ben cucinati. L'unico appunto che posso fare è sul pane, presenterei qualcosa di più e magari anche con i nostri grani antichi. Conto in linea con la location e la qualità. Circa 60 euro a persona compreso bevande. CONSIGLIATO

29/08/2024: Abbiamo mangiato all’aperto in un ambiente molto piacevole, fresco e accogliente. La pizza era buonissima: croccante, friabile e cotta davvero bene. Servizio estremamente cortese e prezzo più che valido per il contesto e la qualità. Assolutamente da rifare

18/08/2024: It's a nice restaurant/pizzeria at the right price. Maybe a little slow in serving the dishes, but without making a fuss when we are out for dinner we can wait a few more minutes. Well ventilated in summer, you can eat under a canopy outdoors. Pleasant overall, will come back.
