02/08/2025: Osteria Del Gatto in Siena is a true gem! I can't believe I've only just discovered it. The dishes are classic Tuscan cuisine, but every single one has that special touch from the chef that makes them unforgettable. The freshest ingredients and exceptional dishes, even the side dishes. 12/08/2025: Steak was tasty but a little on the high end of pricing for sure. Experience was terrible. I never felt so unwanted in a restaurant in my life. We booked a reservation and showed up and the treatment we got was far from the same as other people were getting. Never visited our table. I watched someone order the exact steak I did (biggest and most expensive on the menu) when they brought it out to that customer, they cut up all nicely in front of them at the table and brought them salt, pepper, and olive oil for it. Same guy seriously did a drive by 2 minutes later and plopped down the steak in front of me and gave me some crap knife to try to cut it with and left. The servers would not even make eye contact with us and then go and talk to other tables and laugh and make joke and get very serious any time he was around us. Not a fun night that’s for sure.

14/07/2025: Great food, including gluten free pizzas, which are hard to find in Florence. Excellent service, too.

07/07/2025: My wife had margarita and I had spaghetti with cherry tomatoes and basil and tiramisu on top. And everything we ate was delicious. Definitely a choice.

07/08/2025: The price is not worth the taste. The lobster meat in the lobster noodles is raw and jelly-like. It is a restaurant that caters to tourists. Only the environment is okay.

06/08/2025: They’ve seemingly picked up a thing or two in the near 100 years. This restaurant has been open in Florence. An elegant cavern like Interior greets you with arches and painted wall walls, and I somewhat treacherous but exciting staircase to the bathroom. Serving Tuscan favorites, I enjoyed the enormous beef steak florentine And the family rated the pasta is here the best of our entire trip. Reasonably priced and excellent wines do you ask for recommend recommendations in that regard. I’d also rate them incredibly high for their charcuterie prowess - Once again, earning top Marks from my group on both meats and cheeses… And we had a lot of charcuterie while we were in Italy, so that is really saying something. Service was impeccable, Well, worth a visit.

16/06/2025: not adquate costs/ benefits meal. - Potato soup. - Tomato pasta with basil ice cream interesting but not as good as fresh tomatoes. - Quality cuts of meat served not warm enough. In short... my experience of restaurants in Tuscany does not not justify the time and money spent.

23/07/2025: Everything was very good, the service was friendly and fast, the prices were fair, the meat was excellent, as were the pasta dishes, and the local, zero-mile vegetables... It's a shame, but it's justified because we're in the heart of the Maremma countryside, that there were a lot of insects, which fortunately disappeared by 9:00 PM, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars! Finally, I suggest replacing the outdoor tables and chairs, some of which were very worn.

19/07/2025: It's a true Tuscan trattoria, offering traditional dishes from days gone by. Excellent quality food and superb meats. Unforgettable fried sage. The simple and authentic atmosphere makes you feel at home. The owners are truly talented and knowledgeable.

26/07/2025: In Colle per breve vacanza capitiamo per caso in questo locale a due passi dalla nostra struttura. Piccolo curato e pulito personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile a che con il nostro cane. Pezzo forte le pizze deliziose e in tantissime varianti (pizzaiolo pluricampione nel suo campo). Dolci fatti in casa e birre artigianali completano il tutto. Passateci e non ve ne pentirete!

20/07/2025: We ate, as we have done so many times, the famous schiacciata. A classic in an already charming place. For those who eat schiacciata, there is no table service because they eat at a designated area with unladen tables. But directions can be politely given! And the tables, shall we clean them? The waitress in charge of this area merely put the chairs back in their places while smoking a cigarette. The restroom, while decent, dates back to the post-war period.

09/08/2025: La location all'aperto è un incanto...sotto le mura e in posto raccolto. Servizio molto buono. Qualità dei cibi molto buona. Porzioni abbondanti.... Se si viene a Lucca...merita una visita

09/08/2025: Mai mangiato così male in Toscana! Scadente. Non tipico toscano.Menù per turisti stranieri . Primi banali e cucinati male. Ritardo nel servizio. Vino della casa decisamente annacquato . Location carina ma con troppi tavoli. Foto di divi all’ingresso: un passato glorioso o uno specchietto per le allodole?

22/07/2025: Nice restaurant off the main tourist areas. Really good fresh homemade pasta and meats. Very speedy service. We enjoyed a tasty dinner. Pici al ragù was delicious! The quality of the meat is really good. We were only a bit disappointed about the doneness of the steaks. In Italy, beef is usually more on the rare side. So we asked for a beef brisket "Italian" style and one medium..we got medium - well and well- done. A pity for such a good meat! The sides, especially the white cannellini beans with parsley, were very tasty. Really good apple cake.

11/08/2025: I enjoyed an excellent lampredotto (really, really good. If you like strong flavors or offal, like me, try it!), pici with Sienese ragù, and gnocchetti with pesto and truffles, all perfectly cooked... in short, love with flavor... local cuisine is confirmed as one of my favorites. A well-stocked selection of local wines. The staff is well-trained, professional, and friendly. The osteria doesn't have much seating inside, but they also set up tables outside. I recommend booking to ensure you can enjoy their cuisine in peace. This Sunday, I was also lucky enough to dine to the sound of the drums of one of the city's contrade (districts) marching in Piazza del Campo (I won't reveal the name to avoid confusion, but as a tourist, I'm not biased), which I deeply appreciated. I love events like this, and the combination of tradition and local cuisine only makes me love Tuscany more and more. Thank you, and I will definitely return to this restaurant as soon as I have the opportunity to pass through Siena!

10/08/2025: Located on a side street off Piazza del Campo, as a Tuscan, I can finally say I've eaten authentic Tuscan cuisine! Despite its location, forget about the typical tourist restaurant. Here, the service is friendly and the food is authentic, all for a truly fair price.

25/07/2025: A very good option for gluten-free pasta. My daughter went to Lea Key and was warmly welcomed. Almost every dish could be made gluten-free by swapping the pasta for gluten-free spaghetti. The price and taste were very good, so we were happy to eat here again. The atmosphere outside was also very pleasant, at the end of Pisa's pedestrian zone.

20/07/2025: I stopped by without a reservation. The atmosphere was nice, but it took a long time for the food to be served. Fried sardines were 13 euros, so it was not good value for money.
