09/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant with a fabulous terrace, we were there on a Sunday in September, taking a walk through the wonderful village of Bolgheri... everything very good, and a stunning view as a backdrop... I highly recommend it and on a positive note they have gluten free bread and pasta😍

04/10/2025: Every time we can go to Bolgheri, we stop by Granaio for lunch. Excellent food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Plus, since my daughter was born, I've been loving the idea of ​​having a play area in their garden for the kids to enjoy between courses. One of my favorite places ♥️

You eat really well, with quality raw materials and a cuisine that demonstrates technique and personality. However, the experience was partly penalized by an important aspect: there is no real wine list. You can only drink from the labels selected by the staff, without the possibility of independent choice. A limitation that weighs, especially for those who like to build their own food and wine journey or want to compare themselves with a wider selection. A format that has potential, but that deserves a review, at least from this point of view.

20/11/2025: A historic, almost legendary venue. Needless to say, the food is good. Otherwise, this trattoria is worth trying at its finest: the steak. One small negative that could easily be improved is the cold white lighting.

14/10/2025: Really authentic restaurant, the staff were all so lovely and helpful. The food was AMAZING!!!! We had the lasagne and tortellini both dishes were beautiful. Atmosphere is great. Would recommend

12/11/2025: ...I'd like to give a brief review, because it would take too long to recount the events that occurred at lunch on Saturday, November 8th: the food was pleasant, the cold cuts platter was average, the ravioli with Chianina ragù was good, the pumpkin soup was good, but the chicken liver pâté was anemic and tasteless, a no-no, and I even paid (at my request, of course!) a premium for bruschetta that was the ridiculous size of 2cm x 3cm... which the lady was even annoyed at bringing to me! The owner's service is beyond comment, but the other lady who waited on the tables was kind. The space was a bit cramped, and there was only one bathroom where the owner's large dog lived peacefully (a very good and calm animal), but given certain hygiene regulations that must be respected, this was perhaps an inappropriate modus operandi.

04/10/2025: Overall, I don't recommend it. The quality-price ratio is disproportionate. For example, the mixed crostini was truly mediocre. The main courses were cold and didn't even seem fresh from the day we ate them. The cover charge of €4.50 seems a bit high. For three people, €180 without having eaten well.

26/09/2025: For three: three appetizers, a sliced ​​steak with porcini mushrooms, a suckling pig in foil, an artichoke, two mango sorbets, a bottle of red wine for thirty euros total. €190. Average flavors. The only truly good thing was the pecorino cheese with truffle. The rest was good, but not mouth-watering. It's clear they don't have anything better in Capalbio, otherwise, given the quality/price ratio, they'd have to close.

13/09/2025: We had dinner this evening at this trattoria and were completely satisfied. The platter of cured meats, bruschetta, cheese, and fried foods was excellent. Pici all'aglione, the chicken tagliata, and the fried fish were perfect, and finally the cantuccini with a delicious Tuscan vinsanto. Highly recommended.

08/11/2025: A typical restaurant in the center of Siena. Dinner included a first course (pici senesi, tagliatelle with duck ragù), a second course (suckling pig split in half), and a dessert (ricciarello with zabaglione and licorice ice cream). Everything was delicious. The owner was very friendly and willing to explain the traditions of the Siena Palio and its districts. Reasonably priced!! The only flaw was the house white wine, which was acidic. Highly recommended.

07/11/2025: In Tuscany, it's rare to eat badly or encounter unpleasant people. This place offers good-quality traditional cuisine and friendly staff. Excellent pici cacio e pepe and ricciarelli with zabaglione and hot chocolate!

02/11/2025: Hidden gem in the hills of Chianti not to far from San Donato we came across this wonderful spot that if you weren’t paying attention you would pass right on by. We discovered it 8-9 years ago and we’ve been returning ever since, sometimes twice in a trip. Amazing view and a wonderful outdoor covered patio. This was the first place where I ordered Porcini mushrooms and the waiter brought out a platter of uncooked ones for me to pick from. Absolutely delicious as all of their dishes are. I especially like the pappardelle with the wild boar ragu. Be sure to try a bottle of the local Chianti - our favorite is the Quercia Al Poggio,

03/10/2025: My wife booked a wine tasting here for her birthday while we were visiting from the US. Wonderful experience, friendly & accommodating staff, great food and wine. Our presenter was knowledgeable and courteous to our MANY questions. We'd highly recommend visiting here.
