27/06/2025: We ate here four times during our stay in Sassofortino because we loved everything about this restaurant. Fresh, local ingredients are transformed into magical Italian dishes with rustic charm. I couldn't even say what I liked best, as everything was excellent across the board. Coupled with impeccable and attentive service, it brought a smile to my face. Thank you so much for this experience.

06/06/2025: Very good food. Simple but delicious. Very accesible prices. If you are staying in Valdonica, it is just 5min away, so try it!

20/07/2025: During my four days in Florence, this was the only good restaurant. A little away from the tourist hubbub, we had the best food in Florence. Everything was delicious, and the prices were lower than what we paid for expensive and bad food at other restaurants. The place is cozy and has a local atmosphere. It was definitely worth it. Unfortunately, we only discovered it the day before we left. But I highly recommend it.

17/07/2025: We discovered this restaurant two years ago and it was a great experience! From the reception, the service, and of course, the food!! Traditional, well-prepared, and very tasty!! On this trip to Florence, we went there twice, and we met up with dear people and the same warm welcome!!! It's definitely worth a visit!!

30/07/2025: The place is quite large on two floors, very noisy, but the food is really good. Mixed crostini are excellent, and the mixed grilled roast is also good, even if it's served on a skewer with little meat and a lot of bread (a shame). The service is average.

16/07/2025: The only restaurant, bar, etc. in the town of Monte Pescali. Overall, the food is good, and the staff are friendly. Parking is a bit difficult 200 meters away due to the steep road.

14/07/2025: I last went before Covid when it was just down the road. But the pizzas and pasta did not disappoint. A 4 cheeses pizza was lovely and others enjoyed wild pug ragu with papadelle.

29/07/2025: Walked past this place when visiting Lucca and it looked nice. They reserved a table for us outside to eat there that same evening. The staff were friendly, the prices were reasonable and the food arrived in good time. It tasted very fresh and it was very enjoyable. I would eat here again if I go back to Lucca.

12/05/2025: Nice location, very friendly staff. Wines good!!! Appetizer too. Main course don't take the lamb chops because they are heavily breaded and seem to be fried and therefore ruined. Octopus ok.

06/05/2025: L’ultima visita all’Osteria dei Poeti mi ha lasciato davvero un grande sorriso sulle labbra. Attualmente l’unica realtà volterrana che crea un connubio perfetto tra la tradizione dei gusti e raffinatezza della tecnica, a mio dire. Il sapore dei pomodori confit della tarteletta, una sfoglia incredibilmente leggera e croccante, è deciso e avvolgente. Il petto d’anatra lascia senza parole, davvero perfetto, degno dello Chef che ha arricchito la sua formazione trascorrendo anni a Parigi. Da sottolineare con una nota positiva la responsabile di Sala, precisa, preparata e attenta ad ogni necessità. Consigliato per ogni l'occasione, dalle più formali a semplici soste senza programmi. Grazie Chef, a presto.

31/07/2025: Always a guarantee. My brother and I's favorite restaurant, where we go for dinner whenever we can. Courteous and attentive service, excellent food quality. A restaurant with a touch of old-world charm, its decor remains refined and elegant.

08/08/2025: I ate here one evening during my vacation. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and helpful. I find the overall decor rather dated and could use an upgrade. The view was, as expected, pleasant.

30/06/2025: Nous avons dîné dans un cette bonne osteria située dans la rue principale de Montelcino jusqu’à côté des remparts. Très bon accueil, prise de commande rapide et très bons plats de pâtes. Nous avons pris en entrée un assortiment de charcuteries italiennes et ensuite des pinci à la bolognaise et à la chapelure et en dessert une panna cotta à la pistache. Super adresse en toute simplicité et avec de bons plats typiques toscans. Je recommande

08/06/2025: Thankyou for creating a table for us when we arrived after cycling from Lucca without a reservation. We feel blessed to experience La dolce vita in your pretty restaurant. We loved the crostini pate, the bean casserole was exquisite (in English I'd describe it as a creamy bean muffin♥️) and my stuffed zucchini flowers were delicious. 25/05/2025: Today we had lunch in this restaurant, what can I say, dishes with the flavor of the past, classic Tuscan appetizer, spelt soup and macaroni nettle and porcini mushrooms to die for, for the second course trout fillet and fried chicken with vegetables and to finish sgroppino. Courteous and friendly staff, we will return.
