15/09/2025: Judging by the photos on The Fork and those on Google, I thought I was going into a completely different place... the place was particularly dark, and the dishes weren't as pictured. My partner and I ordered a platter to share as an appetizer, the fillet with pecorino cheese, and the wild boar Volterrese-style for the main course, accompanied by potatoes and a salad... the dishes were good, although my side potatoes were burnt. Honorable mention goes to the waitress, who was kind and friendly. With a glass of wine by the glass, without The Fork discount, we spent €71. Decent, but I wouldn't return.

17/09/2025: Clean, charming place with outdoor and indoor (air-conditioned) tables. The staff is very polite, friendly, and professional. The food is unique, with well-defined flavors. I appreciate the quality of the local ingredients (such as the Vada olive oil) and the preparation. I especially appreciate the care and precision in managing my allergy to beef and all derivatives (other places don't even understand this). Well done! A place to recommend and revisit.

11/08/2025: We had a delicious meal at this authentic Italian pizza restaurant. We entered via the outdoor staircase, where three men were preparing the food. We were able to sit on the rooftop terrace, where an enthusiastic young man was serving. With four kids and four adults, we enjoyed pasta and pizza at a surprisingly low price. Highly recommended.
03/08/2025: Very kind and friendly, they even thought about giving my dog a drink, and they always tried to make the best arrangements for my one-year-old nephew, too. Well done guys!

18/09/2025: My train arrives in Milan around 10:30 PM, so for dinner we opt for a place that closes after 11:00 PM. The place in question actually closes at midnight. We make a reservation for 10:45 PM and make sure we can have dinner, and they do. We arrive on time and order a Florentine steak with fries and a bottle of wine (which is quite expensive). So far, so good; the food is good; there are about six or seven other customers either eating or finishing their meal. Around 11:30 PM, the frenzy of clearing plates begins, and I have to tell the waiter that I haven't finished my fries yet. After three minutes, he comes back and asks if I'm finished. He continues like this every two minutes. At that point, I tell him that my companion and I would like to finish our wine anyway (I meant to add "in peace," but I think it was implied). At that point, he and the manager sit at the cash register and wait... My companion goes to the restroom and pays, asking (at 11:40 PM) if he can finish his last glass of wine, and they say, "Yes, of course." Meanwhile, he closes the shutters in my face (which is intolerable), but even worse, the waiter starts wandering around the room in some sort of pajamas. Now, I don't know how long these gentlemen have been in this profession, and I should point out that despite being from the South (I say this ironically), I have a profound respect for other people's schedules and work, so much so that when I made my reservation, I made sure I could enjoy a meal in peace. However, I didn't feel treated well; in fact, I found the behavior of the two gentlemen very rude and definitely not appropriate for a place that's been open all these years. Why did they accept my reservation if they weren't willing to guarantee at least an hour for dinner? Furthermore, if I order a bottle of wine (expensive like all the wines on the menu, with a crazy markup to add), how can you possibly expect me to drink it down? I will never go there again and will advise my many friends not to... courtesy, respect, and customer service aren't priorities here, only the bill at the end of the meal... A waiter serving me in his pajamas is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this is the Milanese trend now: I pay a lot and all I get is that you're trying to rip me off. Oh, I left the place at 11:59 PM. Have a nice day.
16/09/2025: A truly excellent place where you can enjoy truly delicious ribs. We've been back several times, and every time we order T-bone steaks or ribs.

10/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, but we were impressed. Starting with the warm welcome, the humorous menu, and the friendly waiter made the evening very enjoyable. The typical dishes and homemade pasta were excellent. We tried the typical Tuscan crostini, the pappardelle with hare sauce, and the burrata ravioli with eggplant and cherry tomatoes, all very good. Highly recommended if you want to have a laugh while you eat. 🤗

The outdoor seating is very basic, but once you're seated and admire the view, you forget everything. The menu offers a wide selection, including the wines. We ate and drank very well. The owner and her daughter were very kind.

01/07/2025: Oh boy....where do we start? If you're looking for a place to waste two hours of your life while slowly losing faith in the hospitality industry, then congratulations—you've found it. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a host who seemed genuinely annoyed by the inconvenience of guests showing up. She asked us three separate times how many were in our party, and when we kept answering “four,” she bizarrely added, “Oh sorry, I was including myself.” I guess she figured she’d be joining us for dinner? Sadly, she didn’t—she just vanished into a fog of indifference. Now, let's talk about the food… or rather, the eventual arrival of food. A mind-numbing 95 minutes passed before anything edible (and I use that word lightly) hit the table. I’ve aged cheese faster than they brought our entrees. First up, the ricotta-stuffed flowers: aggressively salty, as if the chef confused ricotta with seawater. Bread was delivered twice—each time a mountain of it—perhaps to distract us from the creeping suspicion that dinner might never actually arrive. Spoiler: we eventually wished it hadn’t. And then, the steak. Oh, the steak. It takes true talent to strip a steak of all flavor, texture, and joy—but this place managed it. Tougher than a leather belt and blander than unseasoned tofu, it was easily the worst steak I’ve ever been served in any country, on any continent, during any century. I’ve had better luck at highway gas station diners. When we (politely!) offered some feedback, the owner scoffed. Literally. With the smug confidence of someone who’s been phoning it in for decades, he told us that in 30 years he’s never served a bad steak. He also bizarrely blamed France for our taste buds, suggesting that maybe we expected “too many herbs and flavors” in our meal, as if seasoning a steak were a crime against culinary tradition. For the record: we’re not from France. And we weren’t expecting foie gras flambéed in truffle butter. We just wanted a steak that didn’t feel like biting into a gym mat. The atmosphere was the only redeeming quality, perched charmingly near a piazza—but even that lost its charm as we watched table after table of unhappy diners doing the slow head-turns and wristwatch glances that universally signal: where the hell is our food? Final verdict? Unless your idea of a great night out includes confused staff, flavorless food, condescending owners, and a wait time long enough to grow your own vegetables, do yourself a favor and skip this place. You’ll thank me later when your jaw isn’t sore from chewing through boot leather masquerading as steak.

29/08/2025: Damn, how infuriating. I remember this place differently; we were always on the safe side, it was a go-to place for decent food. Now, to be honest, I don't recognize it anymore. It seems to me they've decided to live off their old reputation and fleece outsiders. The last time I went, it was a complete and utter mess. The first courses were sloppy, with the pasta almost raw, and the meat so tough it was a pain just to cut it. And they charge you through the nose for everything, damn it!, even a liqueur like it was something special, without even a gesture of courtesy. Once upon a time, it was warm, now they just slam the wine on the table and walk away. They've stopped caring about the substance. A mortal sin, they've lost a customer and my trust. If you take a few more steps, you can eat better without slacking off.
25/08/2025: The place is beautiful and welcoming, the food is very good, the service fast and courteous, open all year round, both lunch and dinner.
