16/10/2025: The pastries for breakfast were good, but the dough wasn't the best...too much chewing, and they were delivered a few minutes after the hot drinks, which means the cappuccinos might be cold by the time they arrive. The hot drinks were okay, and the smoothies were good. The savory croissants were also good. The welcome was good.

13/10/2025: A lovely place in a beautiful square in the heart of Florence! The service is excellent. They should learn good manners and how to approach customers. It's as beautiful as it gets, but I wouldn't go back even for a gift!

28/09/2025: Food was amazing and was seated immediately without a reservation. Quickly served while I sat watching people stroll past the Duomo. Attentive, checked in frequently and refilled water before I even asked. Will definitely come back.

30/08/2025: A simple osteria with a wide selection of daily specials, well worth checking out. The simple nature of the dishes doesn't make them any less delicious: the kind of goodness you'd find at your grandmother's.

24/09/2025: I dined here a few nights ago with friends. The atmosphere is charming and refined, and the service is both friendly and genuine. The dishes I tried were very good, and the portions were generous, unlike many other restaurants. The prices are also reasonable, considering the quality and quantity. The free amaro at the end was a pleasant surprise, as almost no one makes it anymore. I'll definitely be back soon to try other dishes on their menu.

17/09/2025: Clean, charming place with outdoor and indoor (air-conditioned) tables. The staff is very polite, friendly, and professional. The food is unique, with well-defined flavors. I appreciate the quality of the local ingredients (such as the Vada olive oil) and the preparation. I especially appreciate the care and precision in managing my allergy to beef and all derivatives (other places don't even understand this). Well done! A place to recommend and definitely visit again.

06/11/2025: We chose this place, away from the chaos, to experience the true Tuscan cuisine and atmosphere. I have to say, better inside than out...in terms of atmosphere. The cuisine is well-prepared, and we found the flavors we were looking for in the dishes we chose: mixed crostini, potato tortelli with Cinta Senese ragù. I found the service particularly cold from the young group of waiters...not a word, not a chat, not a smile... True Tuscans are chatty and make you laugh...coldness...

06/11/2025: What a disappointment! This restaurant was recommended as traditional by our hotel (their 1st night recommendation was outstanding) so we were excited to try it. The food was average at best. We ordered a couple of appetizers and several entrees and only one was really good. BUT the real clincher of the night was when the server handed us the cc machine to total it out and sign. We looked at him like why are we totaling it out? This is Italy, you're not expected to tip on top (which often we were disappointed by because we wanted to show extra appreciation). Anyway, when my husband totaled out the bill as it came to us, the server ripped the receipt off the machine and threw it at him. We told our hotel about our experience and they were shocked and very disappointed. Go to IL VOLO for a GREAT traditional meal!!!!

04/10/2025: Pappardelle with wild boar and malfatti cherry tomatoes and pancetta, two desserts, and two glasses of wine. Everything was excellent, as was the service and price.

11/10/2025: The place is very cute and surrounded by greenery, located near Capalbio. I went on a weekday for lunch; there weren't many people, making it quiet and pleasant. The portions are generous, and the prices are excellent. If I could only offer a couple of suggestions, the pasta was slightly overcooked and the fried food could use a bit of a dry clean. Otherwise, I'd definitely return, and it was a very enjoyable lunch. The place is perfect for couples because I find it pleasantly relaxing, but also for families with children and groups of friends because there's room for everyone. I think it's even more pleasant in the evening, as I've seen from the photos that the lighting makes it even more beautiful! There's both indoor and outdoor space.

04/11/2025: I had dinner at this delightful and meticulously maintained restaurant near the Ponte Vecchio, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. As I mentioned, the setting was very refined, with an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The service was impeccable, and the cuisine satisfies every palate. I will undoubtedly return soon to try the other dishes.

14/09/2025: There aren't many restaurants that make excellent egg pasta and know how to properly use local ingredients. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms is excellent and highly recommended.

07/10/2025: Tasted: bistecca with roasted potatoes + a glass of very good red wine I recommend it!

30/09/2025: A steak is a steak unless it is in Florence which somehow elevates it to another level. The chefs made the night by putting on a display behind the glass windows. I feel sorry for them- it must be hot in the kitchen.

28/09/2025: We stopped by chance at this restaurant, where I'd never been before, even though I live very close by. Amazing roast lamb, delicious pappardelle with ragù... Crispy, quality salad, not the classic mixed salad with radicchio... Excellent olive oil and perfect fries. A lovely surprise, I'll be back. I recommend it. Just over €50 for two with a first course, a second course, two side dishes, wine, water, and two coffees... More than fair! Well done 🖤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

29/08/2025: We arrived at almost 10 pm, and they kindly let us eat, only closing the kitchen when we'd had everything. The handmade pasta dishes were truly unique. The desserts, too, were homemade, simple, and delicious. It felt a bit like stepping back into Tuscan family cooking. I'll be back for the meat dishes. The prices are fair for the quality.

21/10/2025: A delightful green corner on the historic Appian Way, the restaurant is run with dedication and love by Mr. Giovanni. The food is excellent. It's a shame that not all the servers are as friendly and polite as the manager; that's the only criticism I feel compelled to make.

12/10/2025: This Sunday brunch was very rich and delicious, an unforgettable day with the family, excellent service and cuisine!!!!!! All under the careful and precise supervision of Mr. Giovanni who never misses a beat!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
