Top quality grilled meat (including Florentine steak) all on display. Tasty appetizers with local products. First courses to be repeated for their flavor. Welcoming and always available staff

23/05/2025: Often on the way back from Rome we stop for lunch at this restaurant which has very good dishes and a large fireplace where meat and bread are always cooking. Recommended.

27/05/2025: Local styled food with very average service and so lala Ambiente at the tables outside. Even the restaurant was not crowded when we were there, the service was very late and not sorted. It’s probably too close to the Central attractions to be authentic.

01/06/2025: We had the Fiorentina steak. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. The quality of the service, the meat, and the location disappointed us. Service: The customer service was lacking. We felt unwelcome. Meat: The meat was well cooked on the outside, but not warm enough on the inside. It also had many tough pieces. Location: There was a market nearby that was being cleaned up while we were eating. On the narrow alley in front of the restaurant, trolleys were constantly being pushed past, making a loud noise.

27/05/2025: Excellent tavern in the center with very friendly staff. Definitely a positive experience, I hope to return soon. Excellent potato cake covered in melted cheese.

26/05/2025: This restaurant should have 5/5! Food was delicious, the waitress was very friendly. It doesn’t hurt that it’s also located in the cutest little village. Worth a visit!

31/05/2025: Trattoria carina, ideale per una cena in famiglia. Abbiamo ordinato primi e secondi: carne e contorni buoni e ben preparati, mentre i primi ci hanno deluso. Il Picio con verdure e pomodorini era insipido e coperto da troppo prezzemolo (non indicato in carta), e anche il Picio con asparagi e pancetta era poco saporito. Quando ho fatto presente la cosa alla cameriera Ana, il suo atteggiamento è stato scostante e poco professionale: ha liquidato il commento scaricando la responsabilità sulla cucina, senza mostrare alcuna disponibilità o cortesia. Un comportamento che ha lasciato un certo malcontento e ha inciso negativamente sull’esperienza. Molto apprezzato invece il servizio dei camerieri giovani, in particolare una ragazza gentile, attenta e professionale, che ha reso la serata più gradevole.

31/05/2025: Un ristorante con un'atmosfera piacevole, musica rilassante, per non parlare delle specialità mangiate in questo ristorante, servizio eccezionale, il proprietario gentilissimo, le cameriere molto carine ed educate, e il servizio è 10 su 10, spero di poter tornare l'anno prossimo.. Tutto era eccezionale ❤️❤️

04/05/2025: Posto carino semplice in sintonia con la nostra tradizione ottima la cucina ...quella di casa..tutto ottimo ..tempo di attesa un po lunghi però era festa..abbiamo pranzato all aperto vista la bella stagione....bravi

27/04/2025: Great place! Dining room filled with Italians, no tourists with the exception of us. Great local food. One of the best gluten free pizzas my wife ever had. For appetisers, main courses and deserts there are also many gluten free options. Very friendly staff. Lovely outside area and terrace next to a little stream. Very much worth the beautiful drive up the hill. Would highly recommend.

27/05/2025: Popped in as we saw it was busy as we passed and we were hungry ! What a good choice. The welcoming decor, fresh fish on display. Varied menu choices, polite waiting staff, delicious food.

10/06/2025: Positive experience: - Nice cozy tables outside - Bottle beer was cold, which is rare in Rome - the pasta seemed good (I didn’t have any but I saw on the other tables) Needs to be improved by the restaurant: - terrible, lazy, slow and rude service - pizza was one of the worst (if not the worst of all) I’ve ever had in life, including the frozen ones from the supermarket

12/05/2025: Nice location, very friendly staff. Wines good!!! Appetizer too. Main course don't take the lamb chops because they are heavily breaded and seem to be fried and therefore ruined. Octopus ok.

06/05/2025: L’ultima visita all’Osteria dei Poeti mi ha lasciato davvero un grande sorriso sulle labbra. Attualmente l’unica realtà volterrana che crea un connubio perfetto tra la tradizione dei gusti e raffinatezza della tecnica, a mio dire. Il sapore dei pomodori confit della tarteletta, una sfoglia incredibilmente leggera e croccante, è deciso e avvolgente. Il petto d’anatra lascia senza parole, davvero perfetto, degno dello Chef che ha arricchito la sua formazione trascorrendo anni a Parigi. Da sottolineare con una nota positiva la responsabile di Sala, precisa, preparata e attenta ad ogni necessità. Consigliato per ogni l'occasione, dalle più formali a semplici soste senza programmi. Grazie Chef, a presto.

23/05/2025: We came by chance and ate very well. The excellent raw materials are enhanced by a cuisine that accompanies them with delicate attention. The graphics of the menu could be improved. But it is just a detail.

07/06/2025: A popular restaurant in the village of Artemino. If you want to sit outside, a table reservation is mandatory. Inside was cool in the hot weather, however. Not the cheapest place but good food and good atmosphere.

04/06/2025: High prices for what they offer. In my experience it is not worth it. For 80 euros I expect them to at least have gluten-free bread.

29/05/2025: Muy buen servicio y Riso (risotto con pulpo) bien preparado y condimentado. El personal recomendó vino que se adapte perfectamente y era educado y amable. Si pasas Catello di Borilo asegúrate de comer en esta maravillosa ostería. ¡Puedo recomendar esto a todo el mundo!

27/05/2025: Highly recommended! Food, service and atmosphere were just wonderful. Well prepared and seasoned Riso (risotto with octopus). The personnel recommended wine that suited perfect and was polite and friendly. If you pass Catello di Borilo make sure to eat at this place!
