03/04/2026: Lele is incredibly friendly and helpful. The delicious pizza was unfortunately devoured too quickly for a photo. The tiramisu was amazing. Anyone bothered by high prices should avoid this restaurant. A few streets away, you can find more authentic food and drinks at fairer prices. For example, a 0.2-liter glass of wine costs €7.50. Two streets away, a comparable house wine costs €11 for a liter.

17/06/2025: Teníamos grandes esperanzas para este restaurante, pero nos fuimos sintiéndonos decepcionados. Si bien el personal era amable y atento, los platos carecían de variedad de sabor, todo sabía bastante similar, a pesar de que se utilizaban diferentes tipos de pescado. Otra decepción fue el enfoque de servicio: cada elección que hicimos se encontró con el mismo genérico “¡Gran elección!” sin ninguna recomendación real o información sobre el menú. El escenario es simple y sin pretensiones, lo cual no nos importa, pero la factura final se sintió empinada considerando la calidad y creatividad de la comida. En comparación con otros restaurantes de la zona, que son más refinados y cuidadosos en cada detalle, este no estuvo a la altura.

Lei cortese, precisa, professionale ha il polso della serata, aleggiando tra gli ospiti con precisione femminile. Lui, un Poseidone uscito dal mare nuota tra le onde della cucina, rimestando e definendo le prelibatezze che lo hanno ispirato, e il vintage dei tavoli che raccontano di domeniche in famiglia, di legami fatti di sangue e sudore, sensazioni, pensieri, ricordi, insomma un racconto, di cibo e non solo. È la storia di una persona, un popolo, una terra, come la Sicilia che, più di tante altre, merita di essere narrata. Il menù è attraente, identitario. Leggi le portate e intuisci che farai un viaggio. Potrai attraversare la Sicilia da Palermo a Trapani fino a Siracusa e non ti pentirai della scelta fatta. Bucatini alla palermitana profumati di acciughe, mascolino, pinoli, uvetta di corinto, zafferano e pangrattato tostato. Linguine al pecorino profumate al limone con mascolino, zafferano e pangrattato tostato. Busiate artigianali con ciliegino e gambero rosso con mandorle tostate e pangrattato. 24/06/2025: The people who serve at the cash register are all really very good and dedicated to the service. The girls at the bar counter are always polite. They care and spend themselves to give an excellent service to the customers. You can find excellent products and advice for the tobacconist. I don't know their names but a very kind and not tall girl has skills that are difficult to replicate in the service. Congratulations because you can see that they are all really good. The added value of the business is them in all respects.

11/03/2026: I wouldn't return. They entice you in with a very cheap set menu, but then: there are no customers except two friends of the owner chatting about their own business, the TV is on the news, the service is hasty and superficial. They write "rib steak" and bring you pork chop (claiming that for them, a rib steak is equivalent to a pork chop), they write "mixed grill" and bring you sausage and pork steak. The appetizers are cold and of very poor quality. The first courses were plentiful and tasted acceptable, but the pasta was tough. In the bathroom, there were no towels, no paper, and no hot air. We said goodbye as we left, but they didn't even reply. I'm giving two stars instead of one only because of the low price and the abundance of dishes.

03/10/2025: Speaking of food, I had excellent mixed fried fish, delicious fish meatballs, and an exceptional house sorbet. The location was simple, and the service was at times disappointing.

27/11/2025: Great wine, delicious food, absolutely unique service! Ahmed is nice, cheerful and funny, the atmosphere is wonderful. The last time my mother fed me was about 60 years ago, and this year here! 😁 We recommend.

15/11/2025: The food and atmosphere were okay, but we spent an hour and a half in the restaurant, 45 minutes of which was just waiting for our main course. The staff was friendly, but they completely forgot about us, even though there weren't many customers. Such a wait time is unacceptable.

28/11/2025: Wasn’t going to book this because of the central location for fear of this being a tourist trap…I was proved completely wrong! Hands down our best meal during a weeks stay in Taormina. Food was superb, reasonably priced and the service was great. It was very quiet when we visited but I imagine the atmosphere will be phenomenal when it is fully booked. The walls are adorned with photos of famous faces who have ate here and I understand why! 100% recommend you to try here if you are in Taormina…you will NOT be disappointed!

23/10/2025: This restaurant is pure rip-off. Before you even read the menu, you're already served water at the table, the price of which is conflated with the wine. The menu is expensive, and although I don't know how it tastes, the way it's done is very bad. This is the only weak point of Taormina restaurants. It's a shame, because the rest of the restaurant is great.

06/01/2026: Sharing my experience, just leaving this facility at 3:55 PM from 12:45 PM... I won't go into too many words. The whole context was TERRIBLE.

06/07/2025: Assolutamente da non prendere le linguine al gambero rosso. Ci siamo ritrovate con una pasta scarsa, con pochi gamberetti in stile surgelato che non avevano nulla a che vedere col gambero rosso di Mazara. Trappola per turisti

05/07/2025: Convinti delle recensioni piuttosto positive prenotiamo in questo ristorante che effettivamente è situato in posizione strategica e molto bella ma gli aspetti positivi finiscono qui! Servizio molto lento anche se presenti parecchie cameriere. Abbiamo dovuto attendere per avere l’acqua successivamente per avere il vino e le pietanze. Il primo è arrivato quando avevamo ancora i piatti dell’antipasto. Per quanto riguarda il cibo: abbastanza buono l’antipasto “di Ercole” mentre i primi assolutamente no. Le busiate allo scoglio erano brodose, il pesce volendo c’era ma cucinato così è uno spreco. Le busiate alle sarde molto forti di sapore, non le ho apprezzate. Prezzo direi non adeguato2 antipasti, 3 primi, mezzo litro di vino della casa 111 euro.

01/11/2025: Ficodindia is a true gem in San Vito Lo Capo! The location is incredibly romantic, perfect for a special evening. The food is truly delicious, with carefully prepared dishes and authentic flavors that showcase local traditions with a modern twist. The staff is welcoming and attentive.

08/02/2026: The food is very good and the location is splendid but it is closed for holidays until March.
