Wide and refined selection of local wines without being pretentious. An excellent choice for a refined but tasteful dinner.

05/10/2024: Ristorante trovato per caso leggendo un'entusiasmante recensione. Ubicato fuori da un piccolo paese ma il navigatore lo individua. Gestito da una simpatica coppia di coniugi è all'interno di una bella casa privata. Propongono tre menù fissi molto interessanti più che abbondanti con prodotti tipici siciliani leggermente rivisitati. Tutto buono e gradevole al gusto e alla vista. Buono il vino proposto. Buoni gli antipasti. Buono il cous cous di pesce con cozze e calamaro, buone le busiate alla trapanese e gli involtini di pesce spada. Prezzo adeguato alla quantità e alla qualità.

06/01/2025: Ho trascorso una serata piacevolissima in una cornice stupenda.Il locale é molto accogliente e il servizio degno di un ristorante stellato, senza però perdere la tipica cordialitá siciliana che ci contraddistingue. Piatti buoni e alcuni particolarmente interessanti, come gli spaghetti con anemoni di mare…una delizia! Vale la pena fare una sosta!

04/11/2024: Abbiamo trascorso una splendida serata alla Locanda di don Serafino, il ristorante stellato che non ti aspetti: cortesia, totale mancanza di affettazione, competenza ed attenzione per il cliente. Il locale e’ davvero suggestivo, le pietanze ricche, gustose ed esteticamente perfette, anticipate e completate da raffinate entree e piccola pasticceria di rara bontà’. Per finire una visita alla superlativa cantina. Consigliatissimo per trascorrere una serata in compagnia in una cornice davvero meravigliosa.

06/12/2024: Al vicoletto is one of those restaurants that you would like to have at home so you can take advantage of it every time you decide to eat well, or rather, very well. I gave the squids with a score of 10: they were perfect, I would have only eaten those accompanied by half a kg of bread. The owner is very nice and always ready to give (excellent) advice. Nice place for a few intimates. Highly recommended A+++

10/01/2025: My 3 star review is for the waiter who took the orders. I went to this place over the Christmas period and I didn't like the attitude of the person taking orders at all. As a celiac, I noticed some mocking responses to my questions on the matter. His attitude was quite annoying and incompetent on the topic of celiac disease, something that the whole table noticed, it would be appropriate to remind his collaborators to have a correct attitude towards customers. Furthermore, with his statements he demonstrates that he has no idea what celiac disease is which as a disease always entails problems in case of contamination (even if in asymptomatic form), those who work in catering and offer GF dishes should know... On the contrary, I appreciated one of the waitresses, who was very kind and well disposed towards me. The environment is very nice, the food too, especially starters and meat. I didn't particularly appreciate the pasta but it's a place worth trying if you want to eat a lot at a good price, with a group of friends.

09/01/2025: Truly satisfying experience, local, authentic and good products; many courses with very generous portions, it was a shame not to be able to eat everything. Excellent value for money; The service is also very good with friendly and fast staff. I hope to be repeated this summer, where the restaurant moves outside to rustic and suggestive environments.

21/12/2024: Excellent place to dine with friends, the top location with top background music that does not disturb the dinner, 5 star food from cooking to quality, top polite and professional staff from the chef to those who offer table service, the manager is a person who does make customers feel at ease and that he manages everything and everyone very well.... 01/01/2025: First time in this restaurant and being New Year's Eve lunch it was a very busy day but we were fully satisfied. Small but well-kept and welcoming place, very kind and helpful staff, excellent raw materials used and great attention to gluten and lactose intolerances, offering the entire menu in both gluten-free and lactose-free versions. All the dishes were tasty, plentiful and well presented from starters to desserts, prices absolutely in line with the offer and a more than honest mark-up on wines, highly recommended.

01/01/2025: WHERE IS THE RECEIPT? It's not the first starred restaurant I've frequented and this time I have to be disappointed. Very disappointing experience, at times rude. I won't be brief: - as soon as you sit down you are offered a glass of bubbles but the price is not specified and it is not written on the menu. We discover that they are not the classic "Welcome Glasses" because at the next table we instead hear the price. We therefore immediately feel scammed. In the end we will find €40 more on the bill (€20 per glass). Very bad behavior. - unfortunately many dishes did not have defined flavours, it was the first time that when tasting a mussel I did not taste it. - the service is embarrassing, we are asked for feedback on the pasta with sea urchins, which are also non-existent. At the moment of honestly expressing our opinion, we are interrupted by a waiter who rudely asks "you wanted two more strands of pasta, right? It wasn't much, right?". Um, no. In reality the problem was the tasteless sea urchin but he preferred to insinuate that our goal was to eat a lot, without understanding that the disappointment was about quality. Another waiter (the same one who casually failed to tell us the price of the initial glasses) asked us how the red mullet was, it's a shame that the tasting menu didn't include any red mullet but rather red snapper. I asked for more bread because the slice served initially wasn't enough to taste all the oil and butter. The answer was "we usually serve the remaining bread with the second courses, but if he wants it in advance" In practice, that slice should have been enough for the whole lunch and, rather than bring me another slice of bread, they took away the portion of butter. I felt very embarrassed honestly. Never anywhere had we denied me a slice of bread, essential among other things to taste the dishes of oil and butter. At the end of lunch they asked if we would like a coffee, ours was completely burnt, in fact my friend didn't drink it (€7 for a burnt coffee). - Last but not least: we pay cash and no receipt is issued. Only the waiter with the glasses knew what he was doing, the others were really embarrassing. In a two Michelin star hotel, seeing so much improvisation is depressing. The receipt then... loss of style without justification.

29/12/2024: We returned after several years, the experience this time was disappointing. We took the tasting menu, with 8 courses, a few days later, I don't remember one. Tasting of trattoria bread. The bathroom needs more careful management, and in any case the lack of attention to detail is evident in everything, from a starred restaurant I expect more attention, care, passion. The staff were friendly, but overall an unremarkable experience.

10/11/2024: It was one of the most exciting food and wine experiences of my life. From the entrance to the desserts, a union of continuous emotions. We came across it by chance with my family, including my wife and daughter who are celiac, after a morning at the seaside in a bay a few kilometers away. The tables are located in a courtyard of an ancient farmhouse built in stone and decorated with flowering plants and climbers. The guys in the room pampered us and explained the various dishes, one after the other, all delicious combinations of a cuisine characterized by the flavors of a wonderful land like Sicily.
