27/09/2025: Sicily encapsulated in the "A'CUNCUMA" restaurant. A relaxing and harmonious atmosphere. We went here for dinner and chose the "Porta Felice" menu. The title of each tasting menu already evokes a sense of magical Palermo. Each menu, dish, and wine have been selected by chef Gianfilippo and the wonderful Valentina, maître d' and sommelier, to accompany guests on a true food and wine journey through their MAGICAL ISLAND. Everything was exceptional!!!! An unmissable stop for anyone looking to spend a delightful evening in Palermo. Thanks, guys!!!! Congratulations

25/09/2025: I ate at this restaurant yesterday. The staff was very friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere was meticulously maintained, as was the service. I really appreciated the chef, who came out to the dining room to ask if everything was okay. The young woman was able to perfectly pair and explain the wines to go with the seafood tasting menu. I can't fault the cheerfulness of the other young man in the dining room, who made everything very special. If I ever return to Palermo, I'll definitely eat here again.

09/10/2025: We spent the night in the RV parking lot. The restaurant was actually closed, but they still served us a very good and generous meal. Highly recommended, thank you very much.

30/09/2025: A wonderful and atmospheric place. We were the only ones in the restaurant (end of September), but the food was fresh and delicious. The service was wonderful, taking great care of us. We felt like we were at a family-run place. 💛

02/11/2025: I've known Quattroventi for many years, and even though I no longer live in Palermo, this restaurant has always been a point of reference every time I return to the city. I've returned now, after a year's absence, and I must say I'm genuinely surprised by the change in pace the restaurant has undertaken. The real innovation was the introduction of dry-aging on the fish: a technique that, when applied to local seafood, enhances flavors in a way I've never experienced elsewhere. The raw gurnard, albacore tuna, and snapper were truly unique; the dry-aged tuna tartare is indescribable. The smoked fish, after dry-aging, reaches absolute levels of excellence. The first courses confirmed the exceptional quality: the lightest couscous and a cacio e pepe with caciocavallo Ragusano cheese that I hadn't remembered enjoying with such joy. Even though we were already full, we were tempted by the pistachio absolute, which is actually a deconstructed Dubai chocolate, finally free of the excessive sugars of industrial products. I can't believe Quattroventi isn't mentioned in the Michelin Guide, which instead lists several mediocre establishments. I've tried every Michelin-starred restaurant in Palermo and its province: none, in my opinion, truly represents the evolution of Palermo cuisine or showcases local seafood like this restaurant does. Quattroventi has set sail for new horizons: those seeking contemporary cuisine inspired by local products and techniques will find the best Palermo has to offer here.

07/10/2025: This was a beautiful location in the side of the mountain with delicious food. We did one of the tasting menus with a couple of us doing the wine pairing and it was all delicious. It was pricy for sure, but well worth it for the experience.

19/10/2025: Yesterday I came for lunch with a friend. A magnificent place... in addition to the natural beauty that Etna always offers, I found the 1,000-meter-high masseria enchanting. We stopped for lunch, welcomed by the very kind and efficient Desy, whom I also thank for her advice. We had exquisite appetizers, homemade macaroni with ragù, Angus steak, and lemon meatballs. Everything was truly delicious. I will return and bring more friends to enjoy the breathtaking view, the delicious cuisine, and the kindness of Desy and her colleagues. Full marks!!!

24/10/2025: Excellent little restaurant hidden in between alleyways, boasting a curated menu that changes from week to week. I went with calamari stew (€14) for an appetizer and busiata gambero rosso (€18) for my main, and was not able to fit a dessert. Portions are solid, but not overwhelming. The calamari stew was especially delicious - the calamari were springy yet neatly doused in the rich sauce, with crunchy toasted bread providing a wonderful texture. The busiata were very good, however slightly paled in comparison to the starter. This is not due to the sauce or the exceptional pasta, but rather the calamari felt a lot more robust than the prawns. That said, both dishes were very good. The wine selection provided by the attentive and gentle staff was lovely - I went with a glass of white wine (€6), which managed the rate feat of tasting a whole lot better than it smelled - and it didn't smell bad at all! Overall, while this is hardly the most economic eatery in Trapani, it must rank among the better ones. The peaceful ambiance, kind staff and good to great food (including fantastic bread) leaves little to be desired. Recommended.
