Wide and refined selection of local wines without being pretentious. An excellent choice for a refined but tasteful dinner.

06/01/2025: Ho trascorso una serata piacevolissima in una cornice stupenda.Il locale é molto accogliente e il servizio degno di un ristorante stellato, senza però perdere la tipica cordialitá siciliana che ci contraddistingue. Piatti buoni e alcuni particolarmente interessanti, come gli spaghetti con anemoni di mare…una delizia! Vale la pena fare una sosta!

29/12/2024: As soon as you arrive, you immediately notice the professionalism and dedication to work structured with a lot of passion. The restaurant is very particular, but induces calm and surreal serenity which, accompanied by Chef Candiano's excellent food, transported us on a wonderful tasting journey. A note of merit also goes to the staff who made us want for absolutely nothing with grace and courtesy. We had dinner, and in this place I made my successful marriage proposal and I couldn't have chosen better. I recommend the Essenza Siciliana tasting, and the pasta with squid ink and sea urchins was truly a masterpiece. I give 5 stars because I can't give more. And my hope is to be able to return when possible.

10/01/2025: Super great experience from food to service. We spent a very pleasant evening, welcomed and served by the friendly and helpful Daniele and Tonino. They recommended the most characteristic dishes, offering us, with the behind-the-scenes help of the chef, also alternative lactose-free solutions (since my partner is intolerant). Their professionalism, the evocative environment and the quality of the dishes positively surprised us and left us very satisfied. I absolutely recommend trying this restaurant at least once, if you pass through Trapani. Thanks again for everything Roberta and Vincenzo

18/01/2025: We ate succulent and original Antipastis for lunch! A great discovery! Then pasta houses. We had a blast! I found it just a little expensive for Sicily. But I recommend!!

12/01/2025: Hello everyone, from Collesano, among the searches on interesting places to see in the area, Google suggests San Marco d' Alunzio and we set off... where to eat? We are immediately struck by the "La Macina" restaurant and off we go... We have just been to this place for lunch and I am pleased to write a nice and well-deserved positive review... there are 5 stars available but they deserve many more starting from the place, the service and the food... beautiful location, an old mill transformed into a place that contains pieces not only of our Sicily but also pieces of the whole of Italy... The super welcoming owner immediately made us feel at home; he proposed us to taste the appetizers... super abundant and original, not banal tastings of cured meats and cheeses seen and seen again but tasty and typical things of our cuisine... all tasty and with a beautiful presentation... from the sweet and sour meatballs spelled with vegetables, black rice with broccoli and so on... Very full after all these dishes we were curious to try a typical first course of the place... pasta with nettles... a very light delight and fresh and above all original.... we concluded with the dessert kindly offered to us by the owner... everything perfect from start to finish... food service and hospitality above expectations... I recommend everyone to try it... moderate prices and super dishes... and above all a familiar and welcoming environment... we will definitely be back.

29/12/2024: A few steps from our B&B we decide to try this gastronomy on the advice of our friends. Everything is freshly prepared, very clean open kitchen. We had an octopus salad, scialatelli alla norma and tuna meatballs. The food was excellent, but the added value is the staff, very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

01/10/2024: Super cool guys. Had a great meal with arancini, fried aubergines and cazzilli. So much so that we returned the following day for a bomb parmigiana and baked anelletti. Even more important is the choice of music 🎶 you are great!!

10/01/2025: My 3 star review is for the waiter who took the orders. I went to this place over the Christmas period and I didn't like the attitude of the person taking orders at all. As a celiac, I noticed some mocking responses to my questions on the matter. His attitude was quite annoying and incompetent on the topic of celiac disease, something that the whole table noticed, it would be appropriate to remind his collaborators to have a correct attitude towards customers. Furthermore, with his statements he demonstrates that he has no idea what celiac disease is which as a disease always entails problems in case of contamination (even if in asymptomatic form), those who work in catering and offer GF dishes should know... On the contrary, I appreciated one of the waitresses, who was very kind and well disposed towards me. The environment is very nice, the food too, especially starters and meat. I didn't particularly appreciate the pasta but it's a place worth trying if you want to eat a lot at a good price, with a group of friends.

09/01/2025: Truly satisfying experience, local, authentic and good products; many courses with very generous portions, it was a shame not to be able to eat everything. Excellent value for money; The service is also very good with friendly and fast staff. I hope to be repeated this summer, where the restaurant moves outside to rustic and suggestive environments.

09/01/2025: Romani ma in vacanza in Sicilia, io e la mia compagna abbiamo cenato qui i primi giorni del nuovo anno prendendo due menù degustazione. Abbiamo scoperto un cuoco (o chef, fate voi) straordinario e veramente appassionato. Menzione d'onore per il suo tonno, il più buono mai mangiato! A mio parere gli chef si dividono tra chi lo fa per passione e chi per lavoro. Antonio lo fa per passione e questo fa tutta la differenza del mondo! Un grazie particolare al servizio, tasto dolente nei locali di tutte le grandi città, ma che in questo ristorante è professionale e cortese senza risultare invadente. L'unico aspetto negativo è che non potrò tornare a breve...!
