14/02/2025: We had wanted to dine at A'Cuncuma for a long time and our expectations were more than repaid. All the flavors of Sicilian cuisine in a contemporary guise, without too many frills but with brilliant creative ideas, such as the drops of liquorice sauce next to the pistachio wafer and scampi tartare. Well-stocked wine list, but letting Valentina advise you... it's advisable! Sober and elegant environment, in the heart of Palermo, a stone's throw from the historic Capo market. A must!

09/01/2025: Gourmet restaurant that you absolutely must book if you are staying in Palermo. The dishes are extremely careful and delicious, a trip to Sicily which has only just begun. The waitress is extremely friendly and describes the composition of the dishes precisely. Thanks again for everything

06/01/2025: Ho trascorso una serata piacevolissima in una cornice stupenda.Il locale é molto accogliente e il servizio degno di un ristorante stellato, senza però perdere la tipica cordialitá siciliana che ci contraddistingue. Piatti buoni e alcuni particolarmente interessanti, come gli spaghetti con anemoni di mare…una delizia! Vale la pena fare una sosta!

29/12/2024: As soon as you arrive, you immediately notice the professionalism and dedication to work structured with a lot of passion. The restaurant is very particular, but induces calm and surreal serenity which, accompanied by Chef Candiano's excellent food, transported us on a wonderful tasting journey. A note of merit also goes to the staff who made us want for absolutely nothing with grace and courtesy. We had dinner, and in this place I made my successful marriage proposal and I couldn't have chosen better. I recommend the Essenza Siciliana tasting, and the pasta with squid ink and sea urchins was truly a masterpiece. I give 5 stars because I can't give more. And my hope is to be able to return when possible.

16/02/2025: During a Sunday walk out of town with friends, we came for lunch at this restaurant and were welcomed with warmth and friendliness by Mr. Pippo, his son Fabrizio and the dining room staff. The environment is very welcoming, we had lunch in front of the beautiful fireplace and the dishes we tasted were unexpected, genuine and very tasty. All courses were excellent and the pasta with nettles and the lemon frost with strawberry jam are highly recommended. Without a doubt it is a place to which we will return to spend another pleasant Sunday in this delightful village rich in history and architecture.

30/01/2025: We went to Trattoria La Carruba to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Kind and professional staff, exquisite food, cooked fresh and with non-obvious combinations, refined plating. Contemporary but not cold furnishings. Mr. Morgano - the owner - is a kind, helpful and attentive person to the customer's needs. Excellent value for money. We will definitely return for a more casual dinner or lunch.

12/01/2025: It's always a pleasure to meet up to eat at La Carruba! Excellent cuisine with typical Nebrodi dishes, expertly prepared, pleasant environment, quality, passion and kindness. The quality/price ratio is unmatched in the area. I would go there every day! I highly recommend it!

19/02/2025: What can I say, VERY GOOD. The most authentic place I ate in Favignana... typical cuisine, they have a wide choice of first courses, second courses, all very fresh. Not the usual "tourist" place you find in the center.... It's worth stopping by several times, so you can taste everything!!! Highly recommended….

29/12/2024: A few steps from our B&B we decide to try this gastronomy on the advice of our friends. Everything is freshly prepared, very clean open kitchen. We had an octopus salad, scialatelli alla norma and tuna meatballs. The food was excellent, but the added value is the staff, very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

11/02/2025: Today February 11th I had a reservation for dinner for 4 people... ah it was my son's birthday who came from France to spend it with me. I found the restaurant closed...and they didn't notify me. I was coming from Salemi and at 10.00 we were looking for places to eat. Nice seriousness!

09/02/2025: Arrived without reservation, alone, on a Saturday in February for lunch. The owner was kind to find me a seat even though the room was almost full. Characteristic place, in the middle of the countryside. I didn't do the set menu, but tried caponata and artichoke and ravioli. Everything was tasty, even if the artichokes, in my opinion, were a little hard on the outside. Very polite and professional staff. To return with friends.
