Bacarretto bistrot. Il siciliano In Venezia

Fabrizio is a "tired but happy" owner: I'd describe him as an honest, friendly, capable, and kindhearted worker. Bacarretto is a family-run bistro, serving delicious, carefully prepared dishes. We had an excellent pasta alla norma—the fried eggplant melted in your mouth, truly delicious!—and a second course of smoked tuna with burrata, pistachios, apples, and orange sauce—which gave the dish a unique touch. The menu is limited, but this benefits the quality, and I'm sure every dish is prepared with the same care. The prices are low, especially when compared to the menus of nearby restaurants and, more generally, in Venice. The pleasure of eating them is yours; they put all their warmth and kindness into serving you. This is the kind of management we should encounter more often. A big compliment to all of them! P.S. Unfortunately, due to my dead cell phone battery, I wasn't able to take photos of the dishes, but trust me: you won't regret it.
