26/04/2025: Conosco da tempo questo ristorante, il pesce è sempre buono. Non ci sono tanti piatti ma sono tutti preparati con ingredienti freschi e di ottima qualità. Ottimo il tonno con la cipolla caramellata e le polpette di baccalà. Non è economico ma i prezzi sono nella norma per un ristorante di pesce.

04/10/2024: Don't be fooled, the ambience may not be that great, but the service and food are highly recommended. Not so touristy, locals tend to eat there.

13/05/2025: Siamo tornati dopo qualche anno in questo ristorantino nel centro storico di Taormina (fra il corso principale e il duomo) e tutto ha confermato l’ottima impressione avuta in precedenza. Abbiamo mangiato dei ravioli con ricotta e crema di pistacchi e degli gnocchi con pesto e gamberoni. Poi abbiamo diviso del calamaro gratinato con panatura e verdure. Tutto ottimo. Il locale è dotato di un delizioso giardinetto e di un balconcino più riparato con due tavoli. Prezzo assolutamente nella norma. La gestione è a carattere familiare con personale gentile e cordiale. Torneremo senz’altro.

07/04/2025: Lugar tranquilo justo detrás del duomo bajando unos escalones. Recomendado por el hotel. Acogedor lugar familiar, comida siciliana. Albóndigas y carne muy buena. Ravioli estaba bien. Los bandos eran generosos.

04/05/2025: Locale invitante su una delle vie principali , siamo rimasti delusi abbiamo preso un antipasto e due primi : busiata e paccheri entrambi sembravano pre cotti e non preparati sul momento in quanto ai lati del piatto la pasta era fredda e al centro bollente , nei paccheri poco sugo e due erano immangiabili durissimi… non ci tornerei.

11/04/2025: Une belle adresse en toute simplicité. Ici la cuisine est italienne et pour les italiens. Madame est aux fourneaux et Monsieur est en salle. Allez y les yeux fermés.

28/03/2025: Realmente quería darle a este encantador lugar una calificación más alta, pero había un par de problemas. La caponata, por la que son famosos, tenía ese muy ligero “mareo” en la lengua que muestra que definitivamente había pasado su mejor momento; el sabor real seguía siendo bueno y no iba a molestar mi estómago, pero estaba mal. El propietario es increíblemente encantador y divertido, aunque creo que añadió algunos euros en la factura (era solo a mano - escrito garabatos - realmente debería haber mirado hacia atrás en el menú para trabajar, pero eso no habría quedado bien) . Aún así, volvería a ir si estuviera en Enna unos días.

09/04/2025: cucina piuttosto inventata e scadente. Antipasto di funghi avvolti nel bacon, zuppa di cipolle molto simile a minestra di semolino, secondi pasticciati. Discreta la cantina con bassi ricarichi. mediamente da evitare

02/06/2025: Avevamo prenotato per le 21, siamo arrivarti alle 20, 50, ci hanno fatto accomodare e fino alle 21, 20 non si è fatto vedere nessuno neanche per chiedere se volessimo dell’acqua. Innervositi ci siamo alzati è siamo andati via. Egregi signori, ci vuole più rispetto per il cliente. Il ristorante non è solo un modo per guadagnare, ma un luogo di convivialita’ e condivisione.

02/06/2025: Location molto carina, sul centralissimo corso Vittorio Emanuele. Molto affollato, piuttosto rumoroso. Molta clientela internazionale. Servizio sommario e poco curato. Buona la pasta con le sarde e il tonno alla griglia, così come la caponata. Il vino bianco di Occhipinti definitivamente da non mettere neppure nella carta della più modesta osteria. Buono ma … no wow

01/06/2025: Staff rude and impolite with customers. Very disorganized, we had booked at 13:40, they made us wait under the sun for more than an hour we entered at 15:23; even though they had seated other people at our tables once they entered the staff was annoyed.

30/05/2025: Authentic Sicilian food: the arancini are fantastic! The couple owning the place are incredibly friendly and I enjoyed having a chat with them. Too bad that I only found this place on my last evening in Piacenza.

11/05/2025: Classic place where you go once and never again, 41 euros for 8 arancini, a small pizza and a frankfurter roll. I was almost at fault for not having a single euro instead of 3 pieces of 20, an embarrassing figure of a piece....... The cheese in the arancine was very acidic and the rest of terrible quality (3.50 each) let's remember. It is useless to respond to people's reviews by saying to use quality and fresh products, frozen and acidic arancini. A real shame, it's better to travel 15 minutes and go to Castel San Giovanni, you can find much better products and at a fair price. You won't find honesty here.
