13/08/2025: AVOID THIS PLACE, FORGOTTEN BY GOD AND HONESTY, THEY WILL DISAPPOINT YOU BIG TIME...!!! We stopped in Palermo for a memorable evening in this place known many years ago, where you would queue for hours to get in, where we met the parents and even the grandparents of the current manager...... And where the dishes were exquisite...!! Our disappointment, regret and displeasure was enormous.. The empty place, the tables without tablecloths, at the table only the children and grandchildren of the manager... We asked for a glass of wine and he showed up with a bottle of "Intrigato", he "recommended" some indefinable cod and octopus appetizers, served in two mini bowls and spaghetti with squid ink obviously diluted with water who knows how many times... We didn't have the heart to tell him that the food served was truly pitiful, in fact worse..but only for the memory of his poor ancestors.. When it was time to pay the manager however asked us with shameless arrogance 90 euros!!!! Ninety euros!!!! For 2 mini appetizers and 2 plates of spaghetti!!! The bottle of Intrigato 26 euros!!!! His ancestors, grandparents, parents will be turning in their graves for this blatant affront to common sense, an offense to all honest restaurateurs of Palermo, but above all an offense to the exceptional renowned Sicilian culinary art that tonight has suffered a bad blow from this improvised and dishonest menage of self-styled "restaurateurs".. We are sorry dear "owner" ... but you really asked for it with your disrespectful behavior for your ancestors ... and for us!! Anna and Antonino

15/06/2025: 2 seafood appetizers, three fried fish, a grilled octopus, a bottle of water, a can of coke, half a liter of house white wine and three desserts 140 euros. On top of that, the fried food was very greasy and salty.

01/06/2025: We went to this place, located in the historic center of Reggio Emilia, through Thefolk, 50% formula Small place, but well arranged Tidy and clean environment We had two seafood first courses, an octopus Luciana style, a mixed fried seafood, a house dessert The first courses were good The normal fried food The octopus Luciana style was salty, and in any case, the tradition is to make it with fresh cherry tomatoes The portions are very small The owner is polite and available

06/09/2025: Stopped at this local restaurant before going to the airport. Was a great honest local place to eat before getting our flight. Local workers getting lunch What a surprise to find. The food was delicious and fresh. We had sea food and pastas, this was as good as any food we had on our holiday. There was free street parking. Some times the least expected places can be the best experience. It was a proper day to day local Italian experience. Very reasonable price as well. A must stop rather than eating at the airport. Highly recommended.

03/09/2025: The four stars are for the food only because I only tried the cannoli, which fully deserve the adjective "Sicilian" and are excellent. The staff is efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere is ordinary but comfortable and spacious, especially considering the outdoor seating.

04/09/2025: The location is undoubtedly evocative, behind the church of San Domenico and next to some jewels of Baroque architecture (Santa Maria in Valverde). The menu features traditional Palermitan cuisine; the dishes are good and plentiful, but not particularly exciting. The service is questionable, with waiters trying to take our plates away before we'd even finished... what a shame.

29/08/2025: We booked a table because of its location. The many reviews and 4.0 rating raised some doubts, but we decided to give this restaurant a chance. The first disappointment was the wait for the menu. We ordered food and drinks with the help of a different waiter because the restaurant manager didn't speak English. It took 40 minutes from the moment we entered to the appetizers, and another 30 minutes for the main course. When it arrived, we were disappointed. The fried seafood and fish were drenched in oil, the calamari rubbery, and the food was a complete disappointment. We've had this dish many times and love it. This dish was practically untouched. Furthermore, there wasn't a single piece of fish in it. The next course was spaghetti with squid ink and burrata – decent, but not impressive. In short, the restaurant's appeal lies in the location, but not in the food. We spent an hour and a half there, of which the food took maybe 20-30 minutes.

20/08/2025: Trattoria located in a historic square in Marsala. An enviable location. The couscous and caponata are a must-try. I highly recommend it.

03/08/2025: Siamo a Ortigia,in un vicolo un po' defilato del borgo,pranziamo dentro con aria condizionata,fuori e troppo caldo,il menù e molto invitante,tanti piatti siciliani e di pesce,ma avendo una cena a seguire prendiamo solo un piatto,il mio antipasto caldo molto buono con vari assaggi di pesce e le tipiche sarde al beccafico,mia moglie una caponata di tonno eccezionale,prezzi corretti e caffè ad un euro,consigliato

31/07/2025: Cercavamo un una rosticceria dove poter mangiare un arancina invece abbiamo trovato questo locale trattoria che siamo rimasti sorprese dalla bontà di quello che abbiamo mangiato e dall'arancino siamo passati a un piatto di tagliatelle ad astice favoloso quindi vi consiglio di andare a provare questo locale anche al personale gentilissimo portale personale quotidiano cordiale e comunque un locale molto pulito e quindi vi consiglio di andare a trovarlo

23/08/2025: Very friendly service!! Greetings to Maria! The food was delicious, and we ate here for a week, and none of the dishes disappointed us. The cuscus was the best in Castellammare. Prices were reasonable. In the evenings, when all the available seats were taken, they always found an extra table for us. The Amaro del Capo was superb!!!! Thank you!

12/07/2025: We stumbled upon this little shop by chance and were blown away by the food selection! Typical Palermitan delicacies, such as bread and panelle, freshly fried arancini, and superb Sicilian cannoli. The guy behind the counter was incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back.

16/05/2025: il ristorante mi ha delusa, al pranzo di lavoro, per la qualita' e scarsita' delle proposte. Fregola : era in brodo (non specificato) al profumo di mare. Vero c'era solo il profumo perche' il pesce invisibile.Secondi : hamburger 3 fettine di patate, q.ta adatta a un bimbo di 5 anni (supermini). insalata russa al profumo di mare. assolutamente da dimenticare. mi spiace mi ero fatta un'altra opinione. molta delusione.

15/08/2025: Everything was good, from the starters to the main courses and side dishes. One flaw: for ready-made meals, a 15% service charge at the end of the bill in Catania is way too much, especially considering you're already paying for the cover charge. If I'd looked at the receipt first, I definitely would have done or said something.

04/09/2025: My wife and mother-in-law and I had dinner at this restaurant, recommended by a local shopkeeper, and we couldn't have been more pleased! A table right on the water, friendly and cheerful service, and excellent food. We ordered: two appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, a dessert, water, wine, and coffee for a total of €176. The fish kebab is highly recommended; it's exceptional!

02/09/2025: Excellent restaurant on the Marciana seafront. Attentive and friendly service, and a menu with unique dishes. The linguine with mussels, cheese, and candied lemon is delicious, but the entire offering is worth it.
