28/06/2025: Most of the dishes were very good, but the arancini served was completely inedible, sour, probably old. We asked for the remaining food to be packed for takeaway and they gladly agreed, unfortunately most of the food was not packed, but they packed the sour arancini :/

28/06/2025: Though the attention was great and considerate, guess that after going to more familiar, food-loving places, reserving a bib gourmand is kind of a sacrilege in Palermo. Recommended then if you're just arriving to the city and have no connection whatsoever with any kind of Mediterranean food!

19/06/2025: This is one of the best meals i had in Palermo!! I was lucky enough to get a solo table outside with nobody around and truly enjoyed my food and wine. Service is amazing, the staff is very helpful and even gave me some great suggestions for the night. 10/10 a must

13/06/2025: AVOID THIS PLACE, FORGOTTEN BY GOD AND HONESTY, THEY WILL DISAPPOINT YOU BIG TIME...!!! We stopped in Palermo for a memorable evening in this place known many years ago, where you would queue for hours to get in, where we met the parents and even the grandparents of the current manager...... And where the dishes were exquisite...!! Our disappointment, regret and displeasure was enormous.. The empty place, the tables without tablecloths, at the table only the children and grandchildren of the manager... We asked for a glass of wine and he showed up with a bottle of "Intrigato", he "recommended" some indefinable cod and octopus appetizers, served in two mini bowls and spaghetti with squid ink obviously diluted with water who knows how many times... We didn't have the heart to tell him that the food served was truly pitiful, in fact worse..but only for the memory of his poor ancestors.. When it was time to pay the manager however asked us with shameless arrogance 90 euros!!!! Ninety euros!!!! For 2 mini appetizers and 2 plates of spaghetti!!! The bottle of Intrigato 26 euros!!!! His ancestors, grandparents, parents will be turning in their graves for this blatant affront to common sense, an offense to all honest restaurateurs of Palermo, but above all an offense to the exceptional renowned Sicilian culinary art that tonight has suffered a bad blow from this improvised and dishonest menage of self-styled "restaurateurs".. We are sorry dear "owner" ... but you really asked for it with your disrespectful behavior for your ancestors ... and for us!! Anna and Antonino

05/06/2025: Maravillosa comida. Uno de los mejores restaurantes de Siracusa. Lo mejor el trato amable de los camareros. Hubo un problema con el pago y nos lo resolvieron sin problema. Un restaurante de fiar.

01/06/2025: per iniziare ci hanno fatto aspettare fuori sotto il sole per ben 1 ora e mezza, con prenotazione prevista alle 14, ci siamo accomodati alle 15:20, successivamente mentre mangiavo il piatto di pasta, ho trovato un pelo bianco forse un pelo o non so cos’altra schifezza. Mi dispiace per i prossimi clienti ps: depilatevi

21/05/2025: Fantástica comida y ambiente. Personal agradable y acogedor. Está un poco fuera de los caminos trillados, pero vale la pena caminar. Mi único pesar no se come allí más a menudo cuando en Palermo

09/05/2025: Avevo tanto sentito parlare negli anni passati, e anche bene, di questo ristorante. Arrivati puntali relativamente alla prenotazione, ci viene subito dato il tavolo e il menù. La cameriera prende la comanda, dopo di che comincia l’attesa. Nel locale erano presenti una comitiva di turisti, con accompagnatori, una coppia e il nostro tavolo. Comincia l’attesa durante il quale vediamo passare prima i primi e poi i secondi del tavolo della comitiva di turisti…. Attendiamo 18 minuti l’arrivo dell’antipasto, interpellata sull’attesa la cameriera risponde “stanno preparando per voi”. Passano altri 10 minuti e arriva il fantomatico antipasto. Un piatto di polpette di melenzane al sugo, dove le melanzane erano ancora dall’ortolano, si sentiva solo la mollica di pane (insipide), e un misto fritto caldo, composto da patatine “fatte in casa”croccanti e un po’ salate, arancinette ai tenerumi il cui riso sapeva solo di aglio…. Alle 13:35 inizia un ulteriore attesa per il secondo, durata 10 minuti, nel mentre vediamo passare frutta e dolce della comitiva di cui sopra. Alle 13:45 arrivano finalmente i 3 piatti di frittura di calamaro: patatine di contorno chips ghiacciate, calamari freddi e gommosi (se li faccio a casa in friggitrice ad aria vengono più croccanti!!!) serviti con una salsa, a carattere turistico, e non limone. Abbiamo dovuto chiederlo. Chiaramente il ristorante ormai si è assestato su un target turistico, anche il personale senza lode e senza infamia. Esperienza da non ripetere.

09/04/2025: cucina piuttosto inventata e scadente. Antipasto di funghi avvolti nel bacon, zuppa di cipolle molto simile a minestra di semolino, secondi pasticciati. Discreta la cantina con bassi ricarichi. mediamente da evitare

27/06/2025: Trattoria with typical Sicilian food and pizzeria. We ordered a pizza for the child, an octopus salad, a pasta allo scoglio and ravioli with scorpion fish sauce. The ravioli were very good, the spaghetti and pizza were good but nothing exceptional. The service could be improved. The pizza arrived almost immediately, but the rest was put on the table after the child had almost finished eating and after we asked for at least the appetizer. The environment is not nice, you enter a small closed courtyard without any view or garden. But it is a stone's throw from the center of Noto, so after dinner you can compensate with a nice walk. Very fair price.

25/06/2025: English: Terrifying experience, the board of our Motoclub had gone to the place a few days before the date set for the social lunch to ask for availability for around 50 people, after being reassured about the availability of seats they were asked if the place was equipped only with visible ceiling fans or also with air conditioning but even in this case the management of the place assured our representatives that the place in addition to the fans was fully air conditioned which was very important given that we had to have lunch in the internal rooms on Sunday 8th June for which we proceeded to choose the menu postponing everything to the established date, well when we arrived on the place on the established day the 50 seats were not available and only due to the failure of some members we all managed to sit down and there the ordeal began, we were gasping with an internal temperature of the Sahara desert, when we complained about the situation of deep discomfort we were told that the ceiling fans were not working and that they would turn on the air conditioning but unfortunately the same ones with at least 20 on their shoulders years of activity they couldn't start because they were probably exhausted from gas so they could only be started as fans but unfortunately after a few minutes they went into error and stopped completely and were therefore unusable. Furthermore, the food was really mediocre although we paid well beyond the quantity and quality of the products served. I would add that when it was time to pay, the owner had already left and when contacted by phone, in response to the uncomfortable situation we had experienced, he replied that he wasn't a fortune teller and didn't have a crystal ball to predict that hot Sunday. To me, it seemed like really disrespectful behavior and given the age of the air conditioners (not working), I get the idea that he only cares about dealing with passing customers and that he cares little about retaining local customers.

25/04/2025: Qualità dei piatti straordinaria, dal pesce alla carne è una continua scoperta di sapori che riescono a rinnovare la migliore tradizione della cucina siciliana. Il proprietario Enzo dirige con maestria e gentilezza.

10/04/2025: Cari amici, se non passate da Enzo non sapete cosa vi perdete! Cucina messinese da gusti delicati. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale. Tranquillità e molto accogliente, con servizio attento ma non invadente. Consiglio fortemente.

14/06/2025: Prenoto per 3 persone 2 giorni prima, il giorno dopo aggiungo una quarta persona, il giorno della prenotazione vengo contattata per conferma ma risultava la vecchia prenotazione per 3. Chiedo un tavolo dentro per stare freschi poichè fuori ci sono 40 gradi e all’arrivo scopro che all’interno del locale si soffoca perchè la porta d’entrata rimane sempre aperta in più c’è il calore del forno, come se non bastasse il tavolo a noi destinato è quello all’entrata con la porta aperta, quindi con la stessa temperatura esterna…….protesto e ci viene proposto un tavolo esterno se mangiamo e lo liberiamo entro le 21:00 (ma erano le 20:10!!)…..infine propongo l’aggiunta di un tavolo sul marciapiede e così troviamo la quadra, pur dovendo sopportare gli schizzi di acqua provenienti dai balconi superiori perchè senza copertura…. Veniamo al cibo: le polpette di melanzane discrete, gli involtini di melanzane buoni, la pizza bianca al posto del pane gommosa, ottima la birra alla spina rossa, il dolce completamente sciolto. Servizio distratto.

02/06/2025: Nulla di eccezionale ma neanche da criticare. Varie le pizze proposte e tutte decenti. Buona la pulizia del locale e dei servizi.

06/05/2025: L accueil est parfait avec un grand sourire et plein d efforts pour nous faire comprendre la langue une carte en français qui est un vrai plus et des plats délicieux mention spéciale pour le thon en croûte de pistache !! Allez y vous ne serez pas déçu

05/05/2025: La comida era pobre y el pescado estaba demasiado cocido y las verduras a la parrilla estaban frías. Tienen un letrero Michelin en la ventana, pero debe haber sido un chef diferente. El restaurante está muy bien decorado y el personal proporcionó un buen servicio.

13/05/2025: Siamo tornati dopo qualche anno in questo ristorantino nel centro storico di Taormina (fra il corso principale e il duomo) e tutto ha confermato l’ottima impressione avuta in precedenza. Abbiamo mangiato dei ravioli con ricotta e crema di pistacchi e degli gnocchi con pesto e gamberoni. Poi abbiamo diviso del calamaro gratinato con panatura e verdure. Tutto ottimo. Il locale è dotato di un delizioso giardinetto e di un balconcino più riparato con due tavoli. Prezzo assolutamente nella norma. La gestione è a carattere familiare con personale gentile e cordiale. Torneremo senz’altro.

07/04/2025: Lugar tranquilo justo detrás del duomo bajando unos escalones. Recomendado por el hotel. Acogedor lugar familiar, comida siciliana. Albóndigas y carne muy buena. Ravioli estaba bien. Los bandos eran generosos.

11/05/2025: Glorious food - the risotto was so good we came back the next night and had the carbonara, which was perfect. We were served by Giada, who was charming, helpful and so knowledgeable! We'll come back tomorrow ( our last night in Palermo) to try something else. We know it will be fabulous!!

26/04/2025: Siamo passati di lì per un pranzo, soffermandoci al menù incuriositi abbiamo deciso di sederci visto il menù all’esterno della location molto accogliente… A pelle avevamo delle alte aspettative e così è stato, rapporto qualità prezzo ottima, né troppo e né troppo poco, super soddisfatti da esserci ritornarti a cena. Staff eccellente e super accogliente, cordiale, educato e a disposizione su ogni richiesta e/o problema nonostante tutto sia andato alla perfezione. Ritorneremo sicuramente.
