06/08/2024: "Mirror for decoys". A place that boasts of being a Cocktail Bar, Restaurant, Catering and event organizer. We ordered a fisherman's appetizer with frozen (cold) fried prawns, salmon carpaccio (which is cooked/smoked). Seafood salad with rubbery octopus (justified with "it's too fresh"). After pointing out the errors and having eaten NOTHING, we paid for EVERYTHING. A PLACE THAT WAS FULL 6 YEARS AGO AND IS NOW EMPTY. THE MYSTERY REVEALED!

11/08/2024: Eaten well, in a delightful setting, eating at the tables set out on the street at sunset is a spectacle. The times between one dish and another are slightly long. Overall worth a visit.

09/07/2024: Mediocre pizza, lacks the scent of a wood oven, insufficient cooking and less than exceptional sauce... the service is almost non-existent. 2 waiters for over 200 diners... we waited almost 1 hour to take the order, and I won't tell you the wait to taste the appetizers, pizza and main courses. I understand that Saturdays are packed, but if you don't have an adequate workforce it's better to take fewer reservations. We will never return to this place again.

30/08/2024: Primo giorno di ferie, siamo capitati per caso in questa trattoria su consiglio di un passante....abbiamo cenato fuori sul sagrato di una chiesa, atmosfera bellissima, servizio eccellente, primi e secondi ottimi e di qualità. Locale consigliatissimo!

18/07/2024: Food was good but we were cheated. There is no price transparency. We were charged 105 euro per person for an antipasto and a plate of linguini, water, and coffee (no wine) Lots of better places around. The owner should have been honest with us. We were not given a fiscal receipt either.

17/07/2024: Daylight robbery. We were charged over Euro 100 for an antipasto and a pasta dish. For drinks we had water and an espresso. No transparency with the prices. The location is good and the ambience satisfactory. Lots of better places in the vicinity.

13/08/2024: Great place, with traditional Italian food. Delicious flavour,amazing atmosphere. Don't miss the oportunidad to try their delicious food.

12/08/2024: We went there the first evening we arrived in Modica and it wasn't a good start. On the second round they brought the bread hard, the appetizers were nothing special and we asked what the scaccia was and we were told to see it on the menu, where it wasn't explained. Prices too expensive for what is offered.

29/08/2024: There were two of us, we ordered an appetizer and two first courses. The appetizer was a pepper of HORRIBLE mussels, most of them raw, unseasoned and closed. The flavor was anything but that of mussels. The service was almost completely absent, only two waiters. We left before the first ones arrived. Not recommended.

27/08/2024: Poor experience all around. Lots of staff sitting around chatting and not helping. Ordered 2 dishes to share. The first, eggplant parmigiana was cold. I asked for it to be warmed up and 20 minutes passed before they said it will be ready in another 15 minutes! By then we were ready to pay and leave. The second dish, the cous cous with fish, was extremely disappointing.

27/08/2024: Excellent, authentic and very lively. I particularly recommend the fish dishes, which are really excellent.

05/08/2024: Based on the principle that "the murderer always returns to the scene of the crime", I decided to revisit a restaurant where I had always enjoyed myself: Sale Grosso. I started with a remarkable dish of spaghetti with clams and then continued in my best tradition with an excellent mixed fry. All washed down with one of my favorite wines, Vermentino (of which I never remember whether the production is Tuscan or Sardinian, both excellent in any case). The trip ended with an excellent cream ice cream produced by the Gelateria delle Moline (incidentally: one of the best ice cream shops on earth). What can I say: as Brancaleone da Norcia says... Adelante, adelante... towards Sale Grosso!

14/07/2024: Io e mio marito abbiamo vissuto a Milano per molti anni prima di trasferirci e, nonostante l'ampia offerta di ristoranti, ogni volta che siamo in città, i posti in cui amiamo tornare si contano sulle dita di una mano. L'Horse è tra questi. Proposta di cucina trentin-siciliana, non è il locale milanese di tendenza, ma il posto in cui mangerete sempre bene e con cui farete sempre bella figura se avete ospiti. Ristorante nel "nostro" quartiere, dal look retró e romantico, con candele e luci soffuse e infine tanti tanti curiosi e deliziosi cavalli di cui i gestori sono appassionati (sono di parte da ex cavallerizza!). Il menù è tutto ottimo, ma noi siamo in questo caso per il nostro "solito": bruschetta alla siciliana senz'aglio e gamberi caldi su letto di carciofi crudi per iniziare, a seguire le tagliate con i porcini e per finire l'immancabile cannolo. Tutto accompagnato da un ottimo Lagrein. Carlo e il fidato Franco non deludono mai. Andateci e non ve ne pentirete!
