05/06/2025: Lunedi 2 Giugno, sono ritornato al Banco di Sicilia con la mia famiglia, per un pranzo totalmente a base di pesce....eccellente come sempre. Abbiamo preso del crudo, panelle, sarde a baccafico, padellata di cozze, canolicchi, fasolari e vongole...sublime. Poi i primi e la famosa rosticceria, che i miei figli ne vanno matti. Atmosfera familiare, con la supervisione di Santi (il titolare), che ormai è un grande AMICO sia lui che la sua famiglia. Abbiamo atteso il giusto gustandoci un spumantino di benvenuto e poi alla fine le fantastiche bottigliette di meloncello, liquirizia e limoncello. Come sempre con il prezzo più che giusto e adeguato. Essendo che noi abbiamo mangiato esclusivamente pesce. Lo consiglio a TUTTI, se volete passare una serata spensierata e tranquilla......i ragazzi che servono....una meraviglia....tra cui c'e' Ludovico.....che è un "peperino". Continuate sempre così. 27/05/2025: I was quite disappointed by the quality of the ingredients, I really don't think I'll eat there again. The rotisserie appetizers were definitely frozen, so much so that when they arrived at the table they were still very cold inside and tasted like the food they give you on the plane, I strongly advise against them. I understand the fact of having some frozen products, but at least make sure they arrive hot at the tables and are therefore edible. the first course was mediocre, the best thing was definitely the plating, much more beautiful than good. moving on to the desserts, the cannoli and ricotta tiramisu were very good, definitely the two best dishes on the menu.

13/10/2024: We were on holiday in Portopalo and this restaurant was recommended to us by a local person. Never was a suggestion more welcome. Chef Andrea and all the staff welcomed us with kindness and professionalism. We have returned several times precisely because of the goodness and freshness of the dishes, updated every day based on the catch. Andrea, the chef, works with passion and creativity, preparing masterpieces every time Absolutely worth trying, it won't disappoint you.

30/03/2025: Excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms! You can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake and also thanks to a very good chef I can say that you eat very well! I hope to return soon. Congratulations to everyone!

21/10/2024: Second stay at Hotel Nettuno and the first after the renovation. The renovation freshens up the look of the hotel while fitting the overall calm flair of the hotel. Some places (like the basement toilets or the garage) were left out and now don't fit into the more modern and clean style. Sadly the renovation also did not include the hotels/rooms heating, ventilation and air conditioning, which lead to (subjectively) uncomfortably high temperatures in the corridors and rooms, due to the fact that the AC was already switched to "winter mode" despite warmer temperatures, so it could only heat the room further but not cool it down. The only way to cool down my room was opening a window, which helped only a bit and was nearly constantly open over my stay. Room temperatures still were between 21°C and 24°C, which was way too warm for me (as already mentioned on check out). The new color scheme make the rooms brighter, which is an improvement compared to last year. All was clean and functioning, though the bathroom of my room (211) seemingly did not receive the same care during the renovation as the rest of the room (forgot to mention on check out). Noise sensible persons should pack some earplugs for slamming room doors, due to the automatic door closers (mentioned on check out as well) or not as soundproof walls as can be expected in newer hotels. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant improved compared to last year and was very good! Breakfast buffet is also very good, but a vegan milk option (e.g. oat milk) is missing (though I did not ask for it to be honest). The location of the hotel is perfect for those who like to visit Bardolino (10-20min to the center, depending on ability) or walk on the promenade of Lake Garda. Bike storage is possible in the garage, though there is no separate secured room to put them in.

09/05/2025: Location bellissima! Ideale per tutto: eventi, lavoro o in coppia. Cibo ottimo, siamo gia stati più volte e non abbiamo mai trovato una sbavatura: tutto sempre perfetto! Servizio cortese e professionale. Ottimo rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Ci rivedremo presto! Complimenti!!!

02/05/2025: Carne meravigliosa. Agnello perfetto. Costata perfetta. Anche la grigliata mista era perfetta. Sapori intensi che ti fanno stare bene. Buona anche la pasta col polpo. Porzioni abbondanti. Prezzi adeguati. Grazie.

01/06/2025: Siamo stati da Angelino grazie al consiglio di un’amica. Il locale è grande ed accogliente e con un bellissimo dehor che affaccia sul porto. Personale straordinario, i proprietari sono persone competenti ed eccezionali, e Antonio che ci ha servito per poter portare a Torino le loro delizie è un ragazzo gentilisse e professionale. Un plauso per il cibo che è di qualità elevatissima e con un prezzo davvero vantaggioso. Nella speranza di poter tornare presto in vacanza per poter tornare a trovarli ci delizieranno inviandoci su ordinazione i loro prodotti in Piemonte. Ancora complimenti a tutto lo staff, super Consiglio!!!!!

06/05/2025: L accueil est parfait avec un grand sourire et plein d efforts pour nous faire comprendre la langue une carte en français qui est un vrai plus et des plats délicieux mention spéciale pour le thon en croûte de pistache !! Allez y vous ne serez pas déçu

05/05/2025: La comida era pobre y el pescado estaba demasiado cocido y las verduras a la parrilla estaban frías. Tienen un letrero Michelin en la ventana, pero debe haber sido un chef diferente. El restaurante está muy bien decorado y el personal proporcionó un buen servicio.

18/05/2025: They have advertisements at every road going to Castiglione, but are still difficult to find using our GPS. When we finally arrived at 9pm, we were the only guests - later another couple arrived. Even with this few customers you have to wait patiently for your food, our three dishes took about two hours. Very well prepared, great taste, but I will only go again, if I had a large antipasti plate before - elsewhere.

15/05/2025: 100% service and quality of food is exceptional the fish of the day grilled is excellent with the vegetables or if you just want pizza or pasta 🍕 it’s wonderful. If you love your wine choose a local Etna wine we had two different whites and they were lovely. We ate here 3 times while staying in the Atlantis Bay Hotel ❤️❤️

10/05/2025: Catch of the Day was excellent, the nice German-speaking waiter and the chef conjured up two dishes from the fish, pasta and fillet with vegetables, to kneel down on, with Entna Bianco, buinissimo.

30/05/2025: Top restaurant. Very good and fresh food. The staff is kind and available for anything. I had a great time, we had lunch today with the tour group and they treated us like gentlemen. Congratulations!

09/05/2025: Avevo tanto sentito parlare negli anni passati, e anche bene, di questo ristorante. Arrivati puntali relativamente alla prenotazione, ci viene subito dato il tavolo e il menù. La cameriera prende la comanda, dopo di che comincia l’attesa. Nel locale erano presenti una comitiva di turisti, con accompagnatori, una coppia e il nostro tavolo. Comincia l’attesa durante il quale vediamo passare prima i primi e poi i secondi del tavolo della comitiva di turisti…. Attendiamo 18 minuti l’arrivo dell’antipasto, interpellata sull’attesa la cameriera risponde “stanno preparando per voi”. Passano altri 10 minuti e arriva il fantomatico antipasto. Un piatto di polpette di melenzane al sugo, dove le melanzane erano ancora dall’ortolano, si sentiva solo la mollica di pane (insipide), e un misto fritto caldo, composto da patatine “fatte in casa”croccanti e un po’ salate, arancinette ai tenerumi il cui riso sapeva solo di aglio…. Alle 13:35 inizia un ulteriore attesa per il secondo, durata 10 minuti, nel mentre vediamo passare frutta e dolce della comitiva di cui sopra. Alle 13:45 arrivano finalmente i 3 piatti di frittura di calamaro: patatine di contorno chips ghiacciate, calamari freddi e gommosi (se li faccio a casa in friggitrice ad aria vengono più croccanti!!!) serviti con una salsa, a carattere turistico, e non limone. Abbiamo dovuto chiederlo. Chiaramente il ristorante ormai si è assestato su un target turistico, anche il personale senza lode e senza infamia. Esperienza da non ripetere.
