Excellent! The tasting menu for 30 Euro was of great quality, cooking skills and presentation! We thought that the 9 courses might be very small portions, but that's not the case! The value for money is so good that it almost feels unfair (for the restaurant!!). I truly think the price should be increased to 38 Euros and would still be a great deal. I know many restaurants that would easily ask 50+ Euros for such a menu. Restaurant offers also a warm athmosphere, nice interior/decorations and friendly staff. A real Lucca highlight and we look forward to visit again.

We've eaten here several times a year for the past 10 years and have never been disappointed—quite the opposite. So, we confidently took our Dutch friends, who were visiting for a week, to this restaurant with a Sicilian touch. A must-try for antipasti: La selezione dello Chef. It was another hit, and our friends thoroughly enjoyed it. We especially enjoyed the wines recommended by our boss, Carlo. A fantastic evening! Compliments to Carlo and his staff! The price I quoted includes delicious wines.

Picturesque location, decent food, presented as Sicilian cuisine: a somewhat eccentric idea that clashes with the typical Tuscan setting. Reinvention of pasta alla norma with Sardinian gnocchetti!!! The reason for this was the supplier's failure to deliver suitable pasta (Sic).

Years ago, we had a wonderful meal here in the garden. It was a fond memory, so we quickly returned. Definitely no regrets. A lovely, spacious table in front of the kitchen. The restaurant was pleasantly packed with lots of Italians. We're going for the 9-course menu again. Everything was delicious: tomato granita with mozzarella, bacalha on toast, etc. A good wine list. Very friendly staff. Fantastic! I would definitely go back.
