12/07/2025: We stumbled upon this little shop by chance and were blown away by the food selection! Typical Palermitan delicacies, such as bread and panelle, freshly fried arancini, and superb Sicilian cannoli. The guy behind the counter was incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back.

12/10/2025: I'm Grazia, Marinella's "annoying" cousin, I'm from Messina and I ate the focaccia which from 1 to 10 for me is ten with honors. I recommend anyone who is on holiday in Letojanni to come and taste your dishes where you will be welcomed by Teresa who is an excellent hostess, welcoming, kind and smiling, see you next time

05/03/2026: Although they were friendly, unfortunately the food was truly disappointing. The quality was very low, making it difficult to get practically anything wrong. The artichokes were poorly made; only the hard, inedible part remained, with an artificial sauce. The worst thing was the caponata, which we had to leave as is. The boiled meat was too salty. They couldn't even make the salad properly: it was chopped into large, tasteless pieces. It was the only place where we had a bad meal in Palermo. I'm sorry for the negative review, but I think it can easily be improved.

02/03/2026: I came to Palermo to stay with my cousins. The dinner was epic: the cod with caponata reminded me of the foods and flavors of yesteryear. The wine was excellent. I digested everything without any problems. The place was quite noisy. The service was quick and friendly.

02/08/2025: Siamo rimasti incantati da questo ristorante. L'accoglienza del titolare, la gentilezza dei ragazzi che servono ai tavoli, il menù così invitante, la qualità del cibo e le porzioni davvero generose. Una ulteriore nota di merito per la cantina con bottiglie di qualità e con ricarico assolutamente accettabile rispetto al prezzo da scaffale. Che dire... Osteria Cavallo a Favignana mai più senza!

22/02/2026: Four of us went to this pizzeria on Saturday evening, with a reservation for 9:00 PM (the time they had given us directly over the phone). Despite the reservation, we waited an hour and a half before being served. A decidedly excessive wait, especially when you respect the time assigned by the restaurant. When it was time to pay, the cashier/owner was having trouble with the POS for some tables upstairs. I smiled and joked, "That's why we waited so long for the pizzas :)." Her response was, "Enough, everyone's telling me the same thing," in an annoyed and rude tone. She then reiterated that it's Saturday night and it's normal to wait an hour and a half, adding that all pizzerias make you wait that long, and if everyone shows up at the same time, what do you expect? Such an attitude is unacceptable. This is not how you treat a customer. The problem isn't just the wait, but above all the attitude: no apology, no attention, just irritated responses. In other places, one would have apologized and perhaps even tried to make up for it with a gesture of courtesy, even just offering a liqueur. A negative experience, not so much for the delay itself, but for the total lack of professionalism and respect.

22/02/2026: Terrible experience! Arrogant, rude, presumptuous! We waited 2 hours just for pizzas, repeating over and over that we were leaving! On top of that, they served other tables before ours. No way, we didn't even get an apology. In the end, we decided to leave, and they even kicked us out! They'll never see us again!

15/02/2026: I never intended to go this far, but I have to, out of respect for myself and the customers who will come after me. Valentine's Day. A few days before, I booked a table for two through the website, specifying that my girlfriend was celiac. I should point out that my girlfriend is a regular customer and that only the previous year she celebrated two important events at Da Vittorio. That said, the owner confirmed the reservation. The same morning, I called to extend the time, and he still said it was fine. That evening, we arrived about 15 minutes late due to bad weather. The waiters seated us and, after more than half an hour, came to the table to place our orders, apologizing for the wait. We understood the situation and responded with a smile, telling us not to worry. We ordered a bottle of wine, some appetizers, a gluten-free first course, and a "normal" first course. Shortly afterward, a waitress returned, telling us that they couldn't prepare any gluten-free first courses, claiming they didn't have any gluten-free pasta. At that point, I told the waitress that I had specified in the reservation notes but not to worry and that we would only be eating the appetizers. Shortly afterward, another waiter approached, apologizing for the inconvenience and telling us that they had resolved the issue and would be making the first course gluten-free. Only after we had consumed the appetizers, another 30 minutes later and for a total of an hour after our arrival, did a third waitress (the owner) approach us. She immediately became loud and rude, attracting the attention of the diners seated near our table. She told us that the chef wouldn't be making the gluten-free pasta due to the time, implying that it was our fault for being late (15 minutes past our reservation time) despite it being 10:15 PM and the restaurant being packed, and that we should go to the chef ourselves to convince him to make the first course gluten-free. At that point, my girlfriend decided to go to the chef to ask for an explanation, and he apologized for the incident, specifying that, due to the crowd, he couldn't guarantee the safety of the gluten-free dish, but that he would have cooked it if we had been willing to wait a little longer. The first courses arrived around 11:15 PM. To avoid further aggravation, I concluded by suggesting that the owner be more courteous towards the customers who choose to dine at your restaurant. This will be my last visit.

26/10/2025: Loved it, food was delicious - the sword fish in particular was beautifully done, very tender. Lovely staff and owner Victoria. We were there because big fans of Inspector Montalbano (restaurant was a location) so had his own screen favourites. Fan or not this restaurant should be on list if in Ragusa. Approx £80 incl wine.

05/02/2026: The pizza is traditional, with a thin crust that takes a maximum of 30 minutes to digest. Some Neapolitan customers at the next table were annoying. Not because of the accent, mind you. Still, it's worth repeating with the right people next door.

01/01/2026: Recommended by a friend for the quality of the dishes, I was disappointed on several fronts. The service was rushed and unwelcoming, interrupted by broken plates and firecrackers being set off in the kitchen at two separate times during the evening. The portions were extremely small and the presentation of the dishes was lacking, as was the table without a tablecloth or any sort of placemat or placemat. The prices were not in line with the online menu, but were likely higher for December 31st. The moral of the story...we didn't wait to toast, preferring to celebrate away from such an inhospitable environment.

02/11/2025: I went here since I thought it was the same place as the 5* place around the corner with the same name, but it sure isn't. This pizza was horrendous. I hadn't eaten a proper meal the whole day so I was hungry and anxious for this, but after a slice the only taste I had was fat, slimy cheese and I couldn't get rid of the taste either. I ate more slices, trying to give it a real chance and see if I could find any good in it. It couldn't. I never leave reviews on restaurants and I really didn't want to now either, but I have to warn others about this place. Don't buy pizzas from here. I was so hungry, but I couldn't stomach more than half of it, the rest went into the trash bin, still hungry. Way too much cheese and it all tasted and felt like rubber. Worst pizza I've had in many years. Get better.

02/11/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this trattoria last night and I have to say it was a fantastic experience! The owner was super kind and helpful, making us feel at ease right away. Sebastiano's service was impeccable, with attention to detail and a genuine smile. The dishes were delicious, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend trying it!!! I will definitely be back for another enjoyable evening. Thank you for your hospitality!

24/10/2025: AVOID....Worst meal in Cefalu. Please avoid. This calzone lacked flavor in every phase. I thought it impossible to have sauce, sweet salami, cheese and dough be tasteless but it was. Plenty of better choices even if you want this view either place on both sides are 10 times better. For thr record this is our 9th differnent stop in Cefalu from pizza to pasta and this was absolutely bottom of the barrel. And they like to untag themselves on Facebook so its an absolute avoid at all costs. Ohh did I mention they also are more expensive than anyone. Cant make it up.

02/03/2026: They don't reserve a table. We were very lucky. The food is delicious and they are quick with starters and main courses but they abandoned us when it came to dessert 😌. We paid in cash and they made a mistake in their favor. We complained and they gave us back the change reluctantly. The rest is all 10.
