05/05/2025: La comida era pobre y el pescado estaba demasiado cocido y las verduras a la parrilla estaban frías. Tienen un letrero Michelin en la ventana, pero debe haber sido un chef diferente. El restaurante está muy bien decorado y el personal proporcionó un buen servicio.

29/05/2025: I was passing by chance with my family, and looking inside the place something was shining on the left,,,, it was the fish display case that was shining with freshness, the eyes of the fish were talking to me and I couldn't resist, I had to stop and eat, well what can I say, I had seen very fresh fish, very good fried food, good wine, everything was top, highly recommended for those who love fish both raw and cooked, in the oysters I felt the taste of the sea, congratulations guys, keep it up, greetings from Cosenza and thanks for the hospitality

13/05/2025: Siamo tornati dopo qualche anno in questo ristorantino nel centro storico di Taormina (fra il corso principale e il duomo) e tutto ha confermato l’ottima impressione avuta in precedenza. Abbiamo mangiato dei ravioli con ricotta e crema di pistacchi e degli gnocchi con pesto e gamberoni. Poi abbiamo diviso del calamaro gratinato con panatura e verdure. Tutto ottimo. Il locale è dotato di un delizioso giardinetto e di un balconcino più riparato con due tavoli. Prezzo assolutamente nella norma. La gestione è a carattere familiare con personale gentile e cordiale. Torneremo senz’altro.

07/04/2025: Lugar tranquilo justo detrás del duomo bajando unos escalones. Recomendado por el hotel. Acogedor lugar familiar, comida siciliana. Albóndigas y carne muy buena. Ravioli estaba bien. Los bandos eran generosos.

20/05/2025: We visited for a small breakfast. They served desserts and coffee, good quality, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We sat outside in the baroque UNESCO World Heritage site. The desserts were delicious and fresh, and the price was absolutely reasonable.

29/06/2025: I returned to this restaurant after several years, with fond memories of the quality of the food and the courtesy of the staff. This time, unfortunately, the experience was completely different. We booked for two for dinner, for lunch on the same day. When we booked, we were told that there was no outside seating, only inside: no problem, it was fine anyway. We arrived promptly at 9 pm, and they seated us inside, even though there were several empty tables outside. We thought they were booked, so we accepted without arguing. The menu was brought to us quickly, but from there began a slow decline that would ruin the evening. It took at least 15 minutes to take the order, with constant “we’ll be right there” and “we’ll finish the table and come to you”. When the bread and drinks arrived, the bread was visibly old, rubbery, it seemed to have been stale for days. A few minutes later, we saw a couple without a reservation arrive, asking for a table outside… and they were immediately seated at one of those free tables. The anger is understandable. The appetizers arrive: the cod is good, the tuna is decent, penalized by an excessive use of anchovy sauce. They clear away quickly, but then over 30 minutes pass for the first courses. In the meantime, sitting inside next to the drinks counter, we clearly hear the staff's comments about the customers sitting outside. As a former waitress, I can say that this is something absolutely unacceptable. The first courses? Decent, but nothing memorable. We order two desserts, also average: neither good nor bad. We ask for the bill, but again: 30 minutes of waiting, continuous "it'll be right there" and a final truly unpleasant scene. We hear a waiter who, turning to a colleague and completely ignoring us, says: "Are you going to do the bill for these two?" as if we were a nuisance. Total: €123.50. No receipt, just a hastily left pre-bill. We had to chase the waiter to pay. In short: almost two hours of dinner spent feeling like second-class customers, ignored, neglected and pushed into a corner. The food was not enough to save the evening, and it's a shame, because I once remembered this place fondly. I will not return.

17/06/2025: Teníamos grandes esperanzas para este restaurante, pero nos fuimos sintiéndonos decepcionados. Si bien el personal era amable y atento, los platos carecían de variedad de sabor, todo sabía bastante similar, a pesar de que se utilizaban diferentes tipos de pescado. Otra decepción fue el enfoque de servicio: cada elección que hicimos se encontró con el mismo genérico “¡Gran elección!” sin ninguna recomendación real o información sobre el menú. El escenario es simple y sin pretensiones, lo cual no nos importa, pero la factura final se sintió empinada considerando la calidad y creatividad de la comida. En comparación con otros restaurantes de la zona, que son más refinados y cuidadosos en cada detalle, este no estuvo a la altura.

Lei cortese, precisa, professionale ha il polso della serata, aleggiando tra gli ospiti con precisione femminile. Lui, un Poseidone uscito dal mare nuota tra le onde della cucina, rimestando e definendo le prelibatezze che lo hanno ispirato, e il vintage dei tavoli che raccontano di domeniche in famiglia, di legami fatti di sangue e sudore, sensazioni, pensieri, ricordi, insomma un racconto, di cibo e non solo. È la storia di una persona, un popolo, una terra, come la Sicilia che, più di tante altre, merita di essere narrata. Il menù è attraente, identitario. Leggi le portate e intuisci che farai un viaggio. Potrai attraversare la Sicilia da Palermo a Trapani fino a Siracusa e non ti pentirai della scelta fatta. Bucatini alla palermitana profumati di acciughe, mascolino, pinoli, uvetta di corinto, zafferano e pangrattato tostato. Linguine al pecorino profumate al limone con mascolino, zafferano e pangrattato tostato. Busiate artigianali con ciliegino e gambero rosso con mandorle tostate e pangrattato. Involtini di melanzane con luna piena al tartufo ibleo, pomodorino pachino confit, canestrato ragusano. Grazie da "i fratelli di Napoli"

17/06/2025: Not to be missed!!!! A little out of the way compared to the more central and posh alleys, but here you will find excellent Sicilian cuisine!!! Few frills but of great substance and quality. Truly remarkable fish dishes, both raw and cooked. Vegetable dishes of the Sicilian tradition, of great quality. Tiziana cooks with love and deserves a big..well done!!!!!!!!

17/06/2025: Exceptional typical Sicilian home cooking. High quality fish. Requested the sardines a beccafico but not procured because the market did not offer a satisfactory product. Absolutely to try the tuna fiorentina.

18/05/2025: Mi sono presentato molto presto perchè non è possibile prenotare ma volevo assolutamente provare questo ristorante. Avevo delle aspettative molto alte per le recensioni molto positive. Già dal primo impatto il mio entusiasmo ha iniziato a vacillare sia per l'accoglienza molto fredda da parte del gestore, sia perchè nel menù non ho trovato i due piatti che avrei voluto assaggire (strangozzi al tartufo e torta al testo con prosciutto locale). Vabbè sin qui avrei potuto anche informarmi prima e comunque nel menù sono riuscito a trovare qualcosa di semplice e gustoso. Ho optato per una scelta semplicissima, dei tonnarelli al pomodoro con ricotta salata, delle salcicce e una cicoria ripassata. Il sugo al pomodoro era molto salato tanto da far sembrare dolce la ricotta salata, le salcicce locali erano buona così come la cicoria. Insomma un pranzo decente ma non eccezionale ad un prezzo onesto.

09/05/2025: posto bellissimo , servizio cortese e eccezionale, mangiare buonissimo, da dio veramente, da provare, complimenti !!! Il tagliere era buonissimo, la pasta le pappardelle ancora di più, lo stinco scioglievole e gustoso e il tiramisù anch’esso squisito. Da provare!
