04/04/2025: " Magic in Genazzano! Authenticity and Quality on the Plate " If you are looking for an Osteria with identity, this restaurant in Genazzano is a real gem. Here the tradition of Roman cuisine is expressed to the fullest, with dishes that tell stories of true flavors, passion and quality ingredients. If you think you have eaten a good carbonara, prepare to question everything. This Osteria is a temple of taste where tradition meets perfection. Their carbonara is creamy to the right point, with a crispy bacon that melts in your mouth, the pasta is al dente as only true masters know how to do, the pecorino and pepper dosed with the precision of a centuries-old art. And then there is it, the egg yolk that envelops everything with a divine creaminess. I tried it in their version with FRESH truffle, fabulous! We then tried their Tonnarelli alla Pecorara: FRESH ricotta and bacon in a perfect embrace. There are dishes that conquer your heart at first taste, and their tonnarelli are the perfect example. A simple dish only in appearance, but capable of giving an explosion of balanced and enveloping flavors. A dish that tells the story of tradition with a touch of elegance. Second courses.. Pork cheek with Cesanese reduction and blueberries: very balanced, excellent cooking and a surprising contrast of flavors on the palate. Sheep skewers: simple but never banal. All accompanied by a warm and convivial atmosphere, where the owners and staff make you feel at home and every detail is taken care of with love. And finally the desserts? Unmissable! Wonderful tiramisu and Zuppa Inglese, two desserts that taste of tradition, ending the meal in the best way. If you are in Genazzano or the surrounding area, you cannot miss it. This place is not an option, but a mandatory stop. Trust me, it is worth every single bite. Rating? Absolute excellence.

13/04/2025: We waited 1 hour to receive 2 potatoes (and when they were served they were cold) and 2 beers (had to ask them 4 times with 10 minutes each time between requests) otherwise good atmosphere I ordered the dish of the day and it's disgusting and the servers are not attentive to the customer They come running and ask us for our dishes even though we have been seated for 1 minute, I do not recommend

12/04/2025: Delicious food and excellent service! Couldn’t recommend more! Carbonara was creamy and cheesy, best I’ve had in my life. I tried the Cacio e Pepe too and it was pretty good, although I have no benchmark to compare it to as it was my first. The seafood I tried was pretty decent, and a member of our group said the Seabass was incredible. The artichoke was a hit amongst some, and the bread was pretty perfect. We had a pistachio kind of cake for dessert which was devoured in minutes, along with a tiramisu. The service was incredible, with fun staff who go above and beyond for you. I highly recommend trying this place out!

05/04/2025: I took the maltagliati with artichokes, but I tasted one of the specials of the day, the gricia with broad beans. Remarkable, I must say. The interior is nice but the display of the tables outside is perfect for enjoying a lunch in the sun in spring.

04/04/2025: Everything at the top, really fantastic waiters, sublime food and medium-high prices but it fits with the particularity and quality of the food they serve. The environment is narrow but never chaotic, so this also adds "color" to the picture of a typical dinner. I'll be back, we'll be back again. Thank you

26/03/2025: Nice restaurant, few tables and therefore very quiet environment. Excellent food, now we have tried several courses of the menu and museums disappointed us. The service is punctual and courteous. Price adequate for the food and service.

22/03/2025: Been to the wine shop, very nice and good cellar. Too bad about the very rude staff, it seemed like we were bothering them and they couldn't wait to close.

17/03/2025: Ci siamo stati con amici per pranzo. Gli antipasti alcuni buoni, altri meno. Come primo io ho preso la grigia coi carciofi ma i carciofi erano freddi quindi nel mangiarla non era piacevole. I dolci niente di particolare…la mia amica che ha preso la cheesecake (é l’unica cosa che ha mangiato solo lei) si è sentita male e non aveva mangiato nient’altro né prima né dopo il pranzo. Poi la cameriera non spiccava per la simpatia. Avevamo intenzione di tornare per fare una degustazione nella loro enoteca ma NO.

31/03/2025: Una trattoria storica che rappresenta un "must to go" se amate i sapori genuini della tradizione romana: piatti primi eccellenti e davvero una medaglia al merito per i dolci fatti in casa; strepitosi pure gli antipasti, specialmente il carciofo alla giudia. Personale attento e cortese.

03/04/2025: This place made our last night in Rome to remember. The most amazing staff you could ask for, we left with our tummy’s hurting from laughing with the staff and felt so special. The staff are kind and friendly and the food outstanding. A special shout out to Mani, he got the British humour in one and had us belly laughing the whole time whilst also giving the best advice on wine and wow what a wine it was for €30!! Thank you so much guys, we loved every second.

14/04/2025: Credo di non aver mai mangiato una gricia e una carbonara così buona! Ci siamo trovati benissimo, personale super disponibile e simpatico, non potevamo trovare posto migliore per trascorrere una serata a Roma tra ottimi piatti tipici buon vino e risate! Speriamo ti tornare presto

29/03/2025: The artichoke with beans was the worst I've eaten in Rome. The pizza was quite good. We didn't like the service at all; they weren't friendly at all. And the restaurant was typical with photos of Italian actors. I wouldn't go back.

27/03/2025: Very pleasant restaurant, clean, quiet atmosphere 2 steps from the Colosseum, excellent pizza, good but unpretentious carbonara pasta....the panna cotta is to die for....on the other hand the tiramisu is to be avoided....a bit of a forgetful waiter, who forgot our antipasti ;)

03/04/2025: A bit expensive. The ravioli was undercooked. The corners were hard. However, the sauce was incredibly tasty. As for the ricotta, I would have liked it to be less salty. The seafood pasta was tasty, but nothing special in taste.

03/04/2025: They had really nice depth of flavor in the tomato and ox tail sauce as well as the salmon. The location & neighborhood are great, prices seemed fair. I'd recommend this restaurant any day if you're in the area! Right on a cobblestone street in a old historic neighborhood.

05/04/2025: Per una cena di lavoro tra persone provenienti da Roma e Alatri, abbiamo prenotato questo ristorante a Valmontone incuriositi dalle numerose recensioni positive. Abbiamo preso 3 antipasti di salumi e formaggi molto buoni: originale l’idea di mettere fette di prosciutto in uno “stendino” di legno e di bloccarle con una molletta! Di primi, abbiamo preso la pasta fina fina (con ragù di chianina e tartufo): buona ma si sentiva poco il tartufo. Di secondi: guancia e tartare! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo considerato che senza conoscerci, hanno applicato uno sconto di c.a. Il 10%

09/04/2025: Excellent as always. Unfortunately, the space is too small. It would be advisable to move the cash desk towards the outside and insert expected numbers to have a higher quality of service. The staff is always good and helpful.
