09/06/2025: Very good value for money. Good food and friendly service! The surroundings are very lively, which is something you have to like. We really enjoyed it! We arrived a little early for dinner and were lucky to get a seat right away; it started to get crowded around 7:30 p.m.

08/06/2025: A restaurant I found by chance in Trastevere, the one where there was no wait. The area is very busy, even too busy, which means all the restaurants are full, with wait times of over an hour. Good food, the pasta is excellent and generously garnished. The welcome is warm, but the poor waiters were running around everywhere because it was so busy. The downside is that the area is not pedestrianized, meaning taxis, motorcycles, and scooters pass within 30 cm of the terrace every 30 seconds, which can be a nuisance.

12/04/2025: Fermato per caso andando verso l 'Aurelia da Formello. Personale gentilissimo, servizio rapido e curato. Menù romano. Mi sono limitato perché dovevo lavorare. Ho preso uno gnocco spuntature e salciccia abbondante ed equilibrato. Un calice di rosso, un acqua. Caffè ed amaro mi sono stati offerti. Ho speso 20 euro, prezzo onestissimo ci tornerò presto, in compagnia, a cena. Perché se il buongiorno so vede dal mattino... sarà un piacere provare altri piatti.

17/05/2025: A restaurant found by chance on the internet near the stadium. All unexpectedly excellent. Compliments to all the staff. If you happen to pass through Latina, stop and eat at Da Giorgione. Worth every penny!!!!! 💰

04/06/2025: How low is your selectivity. How much of a nation are we that has been accustomed and convinced to mediocrity. I think those who give these high scores are bots. It is not worth it, my friends, we are a nation that has a hard time earning money. There are other places that are much better. There are even better places where you can eat standing up. Don't look at the comments made with the deception of social media. I think that's why everyone feels obliged to like themselves. Go somewhere else.

03/06/2025: Wonderful meal out with the family (2 adults and 2 kids). Staff were very friendly and attentive. Staff joked with our kids just like our Zia’s Zio’s back home would. The food was fantastic. We ordered Spaghetti de Mare, Gnocchi with Ox-tail, Gnocchi with a tomato, guanciale and cheese sauce, as well as a Napoli pinsa. All delicious. Would recommend. We were seated as soon as we arrived - but we were out early as we had kids. The pace filled up quickly.

08/06/2025: We tried booking this restaurant whilst in the UK before we arrived but they don’t have the function to book online and didn’t answer our several attempts to call. So we decided to turn up as soon as it opened just before 7pm. We arrived after a 30 minute journey and the restaurant was empty but we were told it was fully booked and they wouldn’t seat us. I’m sure the food and service at this restaurant is lovely but they need a better booking service.

07/06/2025: Pecorino always an obvious confirmation. Every time we return to Rome (as ex "Romans"), Testaccio is the favorite destination to eat well. Pecorino is a must, to try especially in colder periods for the delicious Coratella and Pajata

31/05/2025: All staffs are so nice to everybody and they have QR code to see menu so you can easily consider foods. I ate caprese as an antipasto and amatriciana. I liked them and enjoyed well. thank you all guys.

02/06/2025: Our Airbnb host told us this is the best carbonara she's found in Rome. I have no way of knowing, but it was truly delicious. The service was great, the prices reasonable as well. We were the only diners there speaking English, which also seemed like a good sign (and undoubtedly added some pleasant placebo effect, which we don't particularly mind).

22/05/2025: Good quality Roman trattoria but lacks attention to the first courses (which are the heart of the menu). In general, the pasta was cooked very (almost too much) al dente, the carbonara was not very creamy and the guanciale (the same as the gricia) was not crunchy. Finally, the cacio e pepe was not very tasty, it really lacked a kick. They must have had problems with the supplies, especially the side dishes because those that arrived were really miserable (2 forkfuls of chicory and broccoli) while the baked potatoes were finished (they warned us at the last minute). I'm sorry but it did not meet my expectations

21/05/2025: Lunch with friends. Large, bright and not noisy environment. Excellent Roman cuisine with generous portions especially pasta. Excellent grilled calamari. Attentive, attentive and very fast service. It also has outside tables perhaps noisier being on the road.

22/05/2025: A truly welcoming and authentic place, frequented mostly by locals, not tourists. There is no rush for lunch here: it is the kind of restaurant where locals like to stop for a long, relaxed meal. The food is perfect, the service is kind and attentive, and the prices are really fair. But the real reason to come is the atmosphere: it is worth taking the time to enjoy a quiet lunch in a place like this.

19/05/2025: I know the historic city center quite well, so I often walked past without stopping. One Saturday night, when I was in Rome for the Jubilee, I decided to try the cacio e pepe, everything was fantastic, the atmosphere is typical Roman, and the staff is very polite. The only small flaw - but I'm boring - is the location, that if you dine at the tables outside, in Via Della Lungara a lot of cars and motorcycles pass, but all this does not depend on the choices of the restaurant.

20/05/2025: Bonelli is always Bonelli. There is no place like it. High quality home-made Roman food, very friendly and welcoming. Gricia, fried anchovies, scarola, cod, tripe, saltimbocca. Not many options for vegetarians but they find you an alternative! It was one of Bourden's favorites!

03/06/2025: We took a gamble on this place while searching for somewhere else that we'd been given directions for and I'm so very glad we did. Greeted with a big warm smile, amazing food and the atmosphere was really nice too. We were in Rome for 4 days and came here on 3 of them, service is excellent and the staff are all friendly and kind. The lasagne and the pannacotta were the best I've ever had, actual heaven on a plate. I will be sad that we can't just pop in here whenever we want when we're back in England. Thank you all so much for helping to make our trip so special ❤️

20/05/2025: I went to eat with some friends. Everything was very good. I am celiac and I took the gluten-free carbonara (the one without the bread underneath) and it was really excellent. We waited several minutes, but it was worth it. Excellent service. Recommended for celiac friends!

31/05/2025: I must say we had a pleasant evening, waiters, friendly owner and nice classic (Roman) place. We ate well and spent the right amount.

31/05/2025: We had lunch for two in this family-run Osteria with excellent traditional Roman cuisine. We had a first course of pappardelle with hare sauce of exceptional goodness and strozzapreti artichokes and bacon with a more delicate flavor and scented with Roman mint, equally excellent. As a second course, the legendary coda alla vaccinara, very soft and tasty, and the boiled meatballs. The house red wine paired perfectly with the courses! A special mention for the artichoke to the jury, simply perfect! To conclude these superlative courses, we tasted the desserts: zuppa inglese with honors and tiramisu on the second podium of honor. The host Mr. Massimo, who followed and advised us for the entire choice of dishes, proved to be a very knowledgeable person and a careful connoisseur of the various specialties. We will definitely return and I recommend trying it, you will not be disappointed!
