03/12/2024: Buon cibo, personale simpatico e disponibile, a 5 minuti da Piazza San Pietro e Musei Vaticani. Prezzo leggermente più alto rispetto a ristoranti più distanti dal centro, ma ne vale la pena.

18/11/2024: Locale semplice, cucina ottima e personale disponibile ed accogliente. Sicuramente torneremo per un altro buon pranzo della domenica in famiglia.

22/10/2024: Super restaurant avec vrai cuisine italienne et familiale. Le personnel est très sympathique et accueillant. Les portions sont généreuses. On se sent comme à la maison. Les prix pour les plats et boissons sont plus que correct. Je recommande à 100% vous ne serez pas déçu.

(No extra for cutlery...but you are given bread and breadsticks which you are charged for in addition.....not excessive 1.5E/person but the manner...not very commercial)

22/08/2024: Sono stata invitata una sera da amici in questo locale tipico del quartiere testaccio una trattoria come tante senza trucco e senza inganno , ma con una preparazione culinaria da grandi intenditori del cibo storico della capitale , quindi trippa ,coda ,animelle, paste tipiche ,come cacio e pepe ,gricia amatriciana ecc ecc cucinate con maestria dal cuoco che conosce bene la cucina romana de na vorta ! Non in ultimo le verdure ! il vero fiore all’occhiello della trattoria ! Mille varietà cotte e crude ad insalata ripassate o bollite una vera scoperta ! Se si va a testaccio in cerca di una trattoria specializzata nella storica cucina romana questo è il posto giusto !

07/08/2024: Non conoscevo questo locale e, entramdo nella prima sala sono stato piacevolmente accolto da un arredamento curato e arricchito da due consolles decorate in cui si muovevano con tranquilla efficenza i gestori . Poi passando nella ampia sala attigua sono stato di nuovo sorpreso dalla eleganza degli arredi , dalla cura riservata agli avventori che culmina con l’accurato servizio ! Poi dai gentili , forniti gestori napoletani ho appreso che il locale , curato in ogni particolare nasce dal connubio di alcune fra gli esponenti più famosi dll’hotellerie che qui sperimentano l’unione con altrettanto blasonati pizzaioli napolitani . Pur in presenza di un ricco menù, abbiamo preferito rivolgerci alle pizze , trovandole squisite nella migliore tradizione napoletana!

16/12/2024: Cibo e accoglienza eccellenti nel solco della tradizione: antipasto sfizioso e saporito (provatura su pane al nero), tonnarelli cacio e pepe da manuale, contirni e dolce (semifreddo allo zabaione) ottimi. Ma soprattutto il servizio: caloroso ma mai asfissiante. Il tutto nella cornice di in ristorante molto tradizionale che è una sicurezza. C’ero stato con la famiglia anni fa per un compleanno, a primavera, nel terrazzo, con un tramonto su Roma stupendo. Ma anche la sala interna è molto accogliente e credo che, bel complesso, sia migliorato.

08/12/2024: Recommended by friends, we decide to have lunch at this restaurant. What can I say: we were thrilled as soon as we entered!!  The setting is very beautiful, and the panoramic terrace overlooking Rome, where we had lunch, is spectacular. An excellent welcome from all the staff and no less from the managers: all very kind. They immediately put us at ease, allowing us to spend some very pleasant time with a couple of friends. The dishes were all excellent: tonnarelli cheese and pepper, mezze sleeves all'amatriciana, the cold cuts platter and the squid ink crostini with a cream of anchovies and cheese. We ended on a high note with Mrs. Caterina's desserts: stratospheric!! I've never had trifle like this, but the hazelnut and pistachio semifreddos were no exception! as wine we took an ecological wine produced by them. What can I say: we can't wait to return to this restaurant!!!

10/12/2024: Friendly and efficient waiters, delicious lunch of traditional Bruschetta Toscana and Aqua mineral. I’ll be back for dinner! My receipt says Ristoro Pecorino. This one is in Pisa near the Duomo & Tower.

01/12/2024: On the occasion of the "opening of historic homes" day, we went to eat at the old tavern. Simple cuisine, genuine products. Cozy place, friendly staff.

01/12/2024: The restaurant is very close to the Porta Romana entrance to the historic center and right in front is the Cotral stop. Delicious food, generous portions and very affordable prices. Fantastic truffled carbonara, with lots of truffles, for 9 euros. Friendly and pleasant staff. My friends were also very satisfied. If you are vegetarian or vegan and you don't find something on the menu that meets your needs, tell the staff and they will prepare dishes to suit your tastes too.

03/12/2024: We chose this restaurant for our son's 18th birthday in Rome because it was close to our apartment. The food was very good for the price, from antipasti to starter to main course everything was very good. A piece of cake with a candle was even brought to the table for our son. Very nice service and very attentive. Can only be recommended if you are nearby.

04/08/2024: Excellent food. Original homemade desserts. Friendly and helpful owners. Staff ok. Suitable for a relaxing dinner. The service is naturally a little slow because all the dishes are freshly made.

26/08/2024: Beautiful little place that was recommended to me. Felt like I was eating with the locals. Staff were wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Food was perfect Italian fare and delicious. Great house wines and a very low cost. Would highly recommended.

27/08/2024: This was exactly what we were looking for in Rome. The truffle pasta had a bold, rich flavor, just like the amatriciana—both were absolutely delicious! The spot itself is lovely, and the staff were great.

03/12/2024: Stopped for a classic meal, tried the chicken cacciatore that is not often seen on the menu, mostly dark meat and a bit too oily for me. I imagine the pastas would have been a better choice. Warm and cozy, multiple dining areas, excellent service.

01/12/2024: Terrible, I couldn't try the food, but it seemed to be good, due to the terrible service. After 15 minutes of sitting without being attended to, we decided to get up and leave.
