07/06/2026: We went to a communion. The food was excellent, from the appetizer to the cake. I think it's one of the best restaurants we've eaten at. We were disappointed by the service, the rush, the lack of respect for certain aspects, and not even a greeting at the end, as if we hadn't paid like everyone else. The service was truly unkind. If I had to recommend the food, I'd recommend everyone, but for the rest, I'm sorry, no. Dogs should stay outside!

05/06/2026: At Maroncio's they have fantastic cuts of meat. The prices are quite high, but the quality is on par. The fillet steak with port is a delight. The service is impeccable, and everyone is very kind and welcoming.

07/05/2026: From the antipasti platter to the homemade fettuccine with lobster, to the affogato (ice cream and espresso served separately), everything was delicious; accompanied by a very good yet affordable bottle of wine. We felt very comfortable here on what was, for the time being, our last evening in Rome; the friendly, attentive, and lively Italian service played a significant role in that!

09/06/2026: An absolutely dreamy wedding venue! The view is simply breathtaking – surrounded by vineyards and with a truly unique atmosphere. Thanks to its hilltop location, even on warm days there's a pleasant climate with a gentle breeze, making the stay particularly enjoyable. The service was also outstanding. With so many waiters, all our guests received attentive and professional service at all times. The food was also superb and completely exceeded our expectations. From the location to the service to the culinary offerings, everything was simply perfect. We couldn't have wished for a more beautiful place for a wedding and wholeheartedly recommend this venue.

08/06/2026: Giardino l'Olivella is in a truly stunning location: the view upon arrival is breathtaking. The staff is very friendly and passionate about the menu, ready to explain each dish. The appetizers were truly exquisite, while the main courses, in my opinion, despite being meticulously presented (a much appreciated aspect), didn't quite live up to expectations (the pasta was very, very al dente), making the quality-price ratio unbalanced. However, I know it's difficult to manage a large table, so I'll definitely be back to try the dishes again and enjoy the view. The one thing I would recommend, however, is the atmosphere. Surrounded by such beautiful nature, you'd expect the warmth and lightheartedness typical of country farmhouses. Instead, I felt the atmosphere was a bit too formal, almost like a city restaurant. Perhaps it would take very little to make the experience more relaxing, perhaps offering a small, informal welcome drink while waiting for a table, to make guests feel pampered from the very first moment. It's a place with immense potential, just lacking a touch of warmth to be perfect. I must, however, compliment the interior design; it's truly beautiful.

02/06/2026: A top restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the Vatican. A small number of tables are available outside. There's a large indoor area in the air-conditioned basement. As a precaution, we made a reservation well in advance for a larger group via email, received immediate confirmation, and even though there were a few months between our reservation and our visit, everything went smoothly. The team is so incredibly friendly that our children were eager to eat there again. One child was treated to a glass of apple juice to toast with the adults, and another was given several spoonfuls of different desserts to sample. The selection and quality of the food is excellent and, in our experience, stands out even among the generally high standards in Rome! As mentioned in other reviews, gluten-free and lactose-free dishes are available. We are still absolutely thrilled and highly recommend a visit!

08/05/2026: Beware, they overcharge when you pay!!! The place and atmosphere aren't bad. In terms of price and performance, it's roughly the same as other places in Rome, but you need to be careful. You eat and drink, everything's fine, but when you go to pay at the cashier, they offer you a nice soft drink, which makes you very happy. But 5 seconds later, when you're paying with a credit card, they say +20 euros. When we ask why +20 euros, they say there's a problem with the bank and tell us to pay in cash, otherwise it's +20 euros. So what? Why should I pay 20 euros extra because of your bank problem? I think they're being dishonest. If there's such a thing as a bank issue, they should have told me when I sat down so I could decide what to do. I will never go there again!!
