16/10/2025: I found myself here by chance... A simple place. I ordered a plate of pasta, rigantocini with provola and radicchio. I was amazed. The dish was plentiful, very good, and the service was by young staff who were always available. I ate inside; they also have outdoor seating, but it wasn't my cup of tea (traffic noise). Congratulations!!

22/10/2025: Food was solid, but the service was harried and haphazard, due to seemingly new servers, and a management that seems to be rigid and focused more on the hierarchy than serving the customer. Among other issues was making the overwhelmed, but very friendly, wait staff riff through 6 complicated daily specials at each table, many who are listening in their second language...(Imagine that!) Maybe buy a printer? I tried ordering a specific bottle of wine 3 times and was told I had to order from my waiter, who was busy at multiple tables with the daily specials routine...With this time pressure they're STILL trying to turn tables... A real "casino totale"... This is no romantic trattoria, it's a money squeezing operation... But the food is good (not great), so somewhat redeemed...

22/10/2025: They serve a Sicilian lemon olive oil with bread that's a real treat to eat. For me, it's the best carbonara in Rome. Reservations are required.

12/10/2025: The roast suckling pig and porcini pasta were very delicious. The porcini were fresh and tender, the roast suckling pig had just the right texture, the crispy skin was perfectly seasoned with spices, the meat was a bit dry but acceptable, and the potatoes were soft and tasty. This unexpected restaurant saved our last night in Rome, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for good food in Rome.

05/10/2025: Finally, here is a restaurant worthy of Italy. Off the tourist trail, hidden in a small street, you have to look for it to find it, but once inside, everything is perfect. The staff is friendly and attentive. Excellent traditional cuisine, unbeatable value for money. No surprises on the bill, bread, cutlery, water, service included. Even a smile was offered. Head to Trastevere, exit the metro at Circo Maximus, cross the Tiber bridge and look behind the McDonald's. It's your turn.

08/10/2025: Three of us went for lunch on the recommendation of one of us. The quality, quantity, and price were very good, especially the prices and service, which are among the most affordable in Trastevere. I had Tonarelli Cacio e Pepe. They were good, the egg pasta was al dente, but the emulsion of the pecorino cheese with the cooking water was not the texture I expected (I don't know if it should have been like that or not, since it is the first time I order this dish in a restaurant). The 2nd course was fried squid and shrimp, which were a success on the advice of the waiter (friendly and attentive at all times). For dessert, a Tiramisu, which was good, but I wouldn't highlight it as much as others I have been able to taste in Rome. The drinks were also cheap and good. The clientele is both tourists and locals. The waiter had the detail of bringing us an appetizer to eat, since one of us had been there. Also mention that they do not charge the service, as well as other restaurants that do. Thank you very much for your service and keep it up 💪🏻

18/10/2025: For the second year in a row, I'm coming here with my colleagues and 50 students. The owner even recognized us from last year. The service is extremely friendly, and the food is excellent—it was served simultaneously for the entire group. Students are usually critical of meals for such a large group, but we enjoyed eating here again two days later. Hopefully, see you next year!

16/10/2025: Adriano is the best!!! The most calm and quiet place to eat in Rome. Amazing food and service. I will come back for sure!

04/11/2025: We tried to make a reservation for dinner but couldn't because it was full. So, we went at opening time and managed to get a table. The service wasn't very good, it was quite rushed and inpatient. As it was our last meal in Italy, we wanted to eat truffles. And here, all the dishes served had freshly grated truffles on top. We ordered the pasta with truffles, which was very tasty. And the beef with truffles, which was medium-rare and I found it thin, more like a steak than a medallion but it tasted good. For dessert we ordered the panna cotta with truffles, which was interesting and different, worth a try. And the tiramisu, which I didn't find very good - it was one layer of biscuit with some cream spilled over it and Cacau power. We ordered Aperol Spritz to drink, which was quite bad, the worst we had on the whole trip; we didn't taste the prosecco at all, just diluted in soda. Overall, for eating the dishes with truffles, I recommend it because they are very good..

02/11/2025: A very beautiful and cozy atmosphere, the hosts were very professional and accommodating, and the pasta was of very good quality. We enjoyed the homemade truffle pasta! They have many dishes with black or white truffles. For truffle lovers, this is paradise. They also offer dishes without truffles. Thankfully, it's not a tourist trap.

20/10/2025: The service was excellent — friendly staff, fast serving, and the pizza was fresh and tasty. I also counted the calories using the service shown in the photo. It’s super convenient: everything takes just a few seconds, and I’m using it all the time now. A real find for anyone tracking their diet!

22/10/2025: The restaurant seems to have two rooms, one for locals and the other for tourists. It's a shame they don't mix and that the portions are so small. It's expensive for a family of four... it's not worth being in the backpacker category.

23/10/2025: Truthfully this place has gone way too hard on deconstructed foods, it felt very performative for very little culinary innovation or taste benefit. Everything was almost too salty too. Italy does such a good job with simple home style dishes, I would absolutely recommend to just eat local cuisine over paying +500 euro here.

25/10/2025: Hostaria Edmondo was recommended to me. I've been there a couple of times and had a great time. I was looking for my beloved cacio e pepe. I found it, and it's delicious. Other delicious traditional Roman dishes await you, including artichokes, chicory, pasta all'amatriciana, and more.

09/09/2025: Absolutely fantastic hidden gem! The prices are VERY affordable (thirty five euros for a full stone oven cooked pizza, one large pasta dish, one glass of sparkling wine, one soft drink and dessert). Service was prompt and kind (Thank you, Tudorita). Highly recommend this spot!

23/08/2025: Nice looking place with great pizza. Marika served our table the whole evening and made us really happy. We got a basket of bread while waiting for our dishes, it was unexpected but very nice. The only thing was that food for 2 people came with difference of 1-2 min, so I had to wait while other persons dish was getting cold. Besides that we still enjoyed our food. We liked it a lot so planning to come back again <3
