22/09/2025: In contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city and far from the tourist crowds, this restaurant, founded 60 years ago near the Cirus Maximus, specializes primarily in fish dishes. We opted for the rabbit ragout, however. The portions were manageable. This comment should not be taken negatively. Rather, this review should encourage the interested reader to recognize the opportunity to choose an appetizer and perhaps another course to enjoy the cuisine, which is more perfect than just outstanding. The perfect impression was rounded off by an exquisite wine list, as well as the very hospitable ambiance and attentive staff. I recommend an aperitif to familiarize yourself with the menu and wine list. Due to the limited number of tables, reservations are definitely recommended.

12/10/2025: The roast suckling pig and porcini pasta were very delicious. The porcini were fresh and tender, the roast suckling pig had just the right texture, the crispy skin was perfectly seasoned with spices, the meat was a bit dry but acceptable, and the potatoes were soft and tasty. This unexpected restaurant saved our last night in Rome, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for good food in Rome.

05/10/2025: Finally, here is a restaurant worthy of Italy. Off the tourist trail, hidden in a small street, you have to look for it to find it, but once inside, everything is perfect. The staff is friendly and attentive. Excellent traditional cuisine, unbeatable value for money. No surprises on the bill, bread, cutlery, water, service included. Even a smile was offered. Head to Trastevere, exit the metro at Circo Maximus, cross the Tiber bridge and look behind the McDonald's. It's your turn.

12/10/2025: I visited this restaurant for the first time for a corporate event. It's a very pleasant location with plenty of secure parking. The food was excellent, and the cacio e pepe was amazing. The service, in my opinion, is the highlight of this place. Domenico looked after us throughout the dinner with exceptional courtesy and professionalism, always one step ahead of any request. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. Well done!

02/10/2025: My boyfriend and I went to dinner at this restaurant this evening and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes, from appetizers to dessert. We also wanted to thank the owner for his hospitality and compliment him on the excellent wine selection. This is definitely a restaurant we'll be returning to!

14/10/2025: Typical Italian atmosphere, very family-friendly. Excellent quality dishes with good quantities at very reasonable prices. Authentic Roman cuisine! Highly recommended.

08/10/2025: Three of us went for lunch on the recommendation of one of us. The quality, quantity, and price were very good, especially the prices and service, which are among the most affordable in Trastevere. I had Tonarelli Cacio e Pepe. They were good, the egg pasta was al dente, but the emulsion of the pecorino cheese with the cooking water was not the texture I expected (I don't know if it should have been like that or not, since it is the first time I order this dish in a restaurant). The 2nd course was fried squid and shrimp, which were a success on the advice of the waiter (friendly and attentive at all times). For dessert, a Tiramisu, which was good, but I wouldn't highlight it as much as others I have been able to taste in Rome. The drinks were also cheap and good. The clientele is both tourists and locals. The waiter had the detail of bringing us an appetizer to eat, since one of us had been there. Also mention that they do not charge the service, as well as other restaurants that do. Thank you very much for your service and keep it up 💪🏻

07/09/2025: An excellent experience in Campo dei Fiori, which stands out among the crowd of tourist-friendly "osterie." Fresh, handmade pasta of excellent quality. The oxtail stew was excellent. Prices are a bit high: two waters, two first courses, a coffee, and a liqueur are €60.

06/09/2025: Amazing and small place, it wasn't busy because we arrived at opening but it filled up very quickly, The pasta is amazing al dente. It was delicious on another level The desserts were also wow Prices are also really reasonable compared to Rome, not tourist prices.

18/10/2025: For the second year in a row, I'm coming here with my colleagues and 50 students. The owner even recognized us from last year. The service is extremely friendly, and the food is excellent—it was served simultaneously for the entire group. Students are usually critical of meals for such a large group, but we enjoyed eating here again two days later. Hopefully, see you next year!

22/10/2025: The restaurant seems to have two rooms, one for locals and the other for tourists. It's a shame they don't mix and that the portions are so small. It's expensive for a family of four... it's not worth being in the backpacker category.

25/10/2025: Hostaria Edmondo was recommended to me. I've been there a couple of times and had a great time. I was looking for my beloved cacio e pepe. I found it, and it's delicious. Other delicious traditional Roman dishes await you, including artichokes, chicory, pasta all'amatriciana, and more.

04/11/2025: We tried to make a reservation for dinner but couldn't because it was full. So, we went at opening time and managed to get a table. The service wasn't very good, it was quite rushed and inpatient. As it was our last meal in Italy, we wanted to eat truffles. And here, all the dishes served had freshly grated truffles on top. We ordered the pasta with truffles, which was very tasty. And the beef with truffles, which was medium-rare and I found it thin, more like a steak than a medallion but it tasted good. For dessert we ordered the panna cotta with truffles, which was interesting and different, worth a try. And the tiramisu, which I didn't find very good - it was one layer of biscuit with some cream spilled over it and Cacau power. We ordered Aperol Spritz to drink, which was quite bad, the worst we had on the whole trip; we didn't taste the prosecco at all, just diluted in soda. Overall, for eating the dishes with truffles, I recommend it because they are very good..

02/11/2025: A very beautiful and cozy atmosphere, the hosts were very professional and accommodating, and the pasta was of very good quality. We enjoyed the homemade truffle pasta! They have many dishes with black or white truffles. For truffle lovers, this is paradise. They also offer dishes without truffles. Thankfully, it's not a tourist trap.

20/10/2025: The service was excellent — friendly staff, fast serving, and the pizza was fresh and tasty. I also counted the calories using the service shown in the photo. It’s super convenient: everything takes just a few seconds, and I’m using it all the time now. A real find for anyone tracking their diet!

10/10/2025: Great food. We started with bruschetta, then had the Carbonara and braised oxtail, finished with tiramisu. The Carbonara was decent. I wouldn't call it the world beater like some other had said. The oxtail was very tender and tasty. The tiramisu was also very good.
