25/11/2024: Good quality Roman-style restaurant but with national variations. classic carbonara, without carbocrema. The desserts are good. Parking in the area is complicated but the agreement with a garage in the area lightens the burden. There are some tables outside. Prices are average. The choice of wines is decent.

23/08/2024: Typical Roman restaurant in the Trastevere area, a truly beautiful place, small but very particular, with an atmosphere that smells of Rome. Spectacular food, truly excellent classic Roman dishes, a must try! (The tripe was exceptional!). They then do some tastings which are an excellent idea to try more dishes and are not "initial" at all 😂 The staff are also kind, friendly and make you feel at home straight away, making you feel at ease. Very recommended!

22/08/2024: Una conferma! Posto bellissimo, curato e dall'atmosfera molto italiana. Servizio caloroso, simpatico e cortese. Cibo meraviglioso, consiglio di assaggiare la coda alla vaccinara e i dolci, veramente fenomenali. I primi tipici della tradizione sono ottimi, consiglio a tutti.

09/08/2024: Nous avons pris les pâtes à la truffe et les pâtes au calamar et c'était excellent ! Très bien assaisonné, la truffe était très bonne ainsi que le lard. Le tiramisu était également très bon ! Je recommande fortement !!

04/08/2024: I really recommend this restaurant. Very small so you need to book. Traditional dishes revisited and truly excellent, compliments to the kitchen. The guy in the room is kind and welcoming. Perfect.

30/08/2024: I’m so happy we were able to eat here! The food was phenomenal! It was cooked to perfection and incredibly delicious. The atmosphere was so cozy and inviting, and the service was impeccable. Our waiter was very kind and attentive and took the time to explain the menu items to us. They also added wonderful touches such as sugared lemons to cleanse the palate before the meal and a delightful bread basket. I highly recommend this place and I’m sad that we can’t eat here more often since we don’t live in Italy!

08/12/2024: Ayer noche cenamos en este maravilloso restaurante, ya estuvimos allí en 2019 y la verdad es que todo lo que cocinan es un manjar de Dios. Éramos 7, fuimos en familia, todos disfrutaron de lo lindo. Estuvimos en todo momento asesorados por Alex, un lujo de cena. Todos y cada uno de los platos están elaborados con una excelente materia prima y con todo el amor del mundo, lo que convierte una cena en una experiencia religiosa. Sin lugar a dudas restaurante indispensable en Roma.

26/11/2024: Due amici americani avevano prenotato un tavolo per cenare in due; alle 7:20 PM ho chiesto al direttore se potevo unirmi a loro, mi ha risposto (sgarbatamente) che potevo unire il tavolo accanto al loro fino alle 8:00 PM perché dopo era prenotato. Abbiamo accettato, abbiamo ordinato un Barolo e due antipasti da dividere (millefoglie e carciofi fritti). Il cameriere è premuroso, almeno lui, gli antipasti niente di chè. Alle 7:40 PM riappare il direttore, mi si para davanti e mi intima di alzarmi e lasciare il tavolino, che occupavo appunto accanto ai miei amici, perché la persona che lo aveva prenotato alle 8 era arrivata in anticipo di venti minuti. Ho provato a protestare ma il direttore mi ha risposto di non rendermi ridicolo. In pratica sono stato cacciato dal ristorante a male parole! I miei amici erano allibiti. Una situazione che un vero ristoratore romano avrebbe risolto senza problemi (c’erano tavoli liberi quasi fino alle 9 PM). Pazienza, non ci andrò più e lo sconsiglierò a tutti, il cibo dopotutto è lo stesso che si trova in tutte le trattorie romane, e il direttore è troppo stressante!

03/11/2024: Ho prenotato questo ristorante incuriosito dalle recensioni positive. Devo confermare che è un ottimo ristorante senza tanti fronzoli ma che bada molto alla sostanza. Personalmente posso dire di aver mangiato una delle migliori carbonare degli ultimi anni ( lo dice uno che ha praticamente girato tutti i ristoranti romani a Roma per provare le varie carbonare) Conto decisamente onesto Lo consiglio vivamente

27/08/2024: The place looked promising and we sincerely thought about some unforeseen event, on a day that wasn't the best, considering it was Saturday, with numerous customers at lunch. The review, however, cannot be fully favorable due to a couple of important errors. Let's start with the positive notes. Characteristic, sober and pleasant place, with numerous outdoor seats in a small alley in the center of Frascati. Very polite and welcoming staff, helpful and attentive. Regarding the courses, worth mentioning is the good selection of cheeses and the excellent bruschetta with colonnata lard. But then the sore points arrive. Despite the place being full, two service errors were still not admissible: After the starter, the main course is not served first to the couple at the next table, who arrived about 40 minutes later! Considering the very similar orders, there is no valid organizational justification for something so annoying. Even more serious: you spend half an hour waiting between the starter and the main course, but never, ever serve a dish to a diner about 10 minutes after serving the other! Despite subsequent apologies, both diners are forced to watch the other eat! Two important service errors which, in any case, would have been mitigated by the good quality of the dishes served. Instead, the trofie with speck, courgettes and cherry tomatoes, the dish that arrived 10 minutes later, which you expect "in white" and crunchy, arrived in a red and very oily "guazzetto" (perhaps also with stock cube), in a preparation that has nothing to do with the Roman tradition. A generous dish, too, in terms of quantity and abundance of seasoning, but definitely not appetizing. The most significant mistake of all, however, was that of the carbonara which arrived 10 minutes before the trofie. Burnt bacon, overcooked egg and overcooked half sleeves! We're sorry for the mishap in the kitchen, which we hope is occasional, but a dish like this shouldn't be released in the dining room! Sin! Because the raw materials and the location are there, as well as the courteous and attentive staff.

25/08/2024: Welcoming place, attentive and helpful staff, excellent food, truly satisfying dinner. I will return without a doubt, I recommend trying it.

25/10/2024: I am forced to give a mediocre review, with regret. I have been to this place several times, and I must say that the food is quite good, especially the fish. The owner of the restaurant takes orders at the tables. After eating a first course, we ordered the second, and I ordered a portion of fried calamari, asking the owner for a half portion. However, the owner responded to this request with annoyance, saying "and who should I give the other half portion to?". After this sad exit I pointed out to him that he had also fulfilled this request on other occasions in the past, and moreover it is also included in their menu, where it is expressly written "Half portions cost 70% of the full portion". After a bit of embarrassment, the owner accepts my request, and when the dish is ready, I notice with regret that the portion was very very small (unlike the half portions received the previous times). Furthermore, on the final bill, I realized that the correct price was not applied, which should have been 10.50 euros, and not 13.50 euros, as shown on the receipt. Unfortunately I noticed this once I got home, and I couldn't dispute it immediately, my mistake. I found this behavior inelegant and not serious. If you include the possibility of half portions on the menu, you can't be bothered if the customer requests it, moreover we are talking about fried calamari, which is not pre-packaged, but cooked on the spot, in the quantities that the chef desires. I want to think that the incorrect price on the receipt is an oversight... we will certainly be a little reluctant to return to this place. Sin.

15/12/2024: Ambiente caldo e accogliente con un bel camino centrale acceso. La cucina la potremmo definire “gourmet-like” e di ottima qualità generale con impiattamento elegante. il servizio è stato cortese e abbastanza puntuale con tempistiche tutto sommato accettabili. Abbiamo assaggiato gnocchi di verdura al taleggio ottimi ma avremmo preferito una porzione leggermente più abbondante, ravioli molto buoni nelle diverse preparazioni proposte. Quanto alle carni, di ottimo taglio e morbidezza, abbiamo gustato filetto, tagliata e abbacchio alla scottadito: tutti piatti molto buoni, con cotture perfette e dalle porzioni corrette. Per chiudere anche i dolci al cucchiaio sono stati molto buoni. Unica nota leggermente stonata: il vino rosso “della casa” in bottiglia ma dal costo eccessivo (19 euro). Sicuramente merita la sosta e certamente noi la faremo di nuovo.

30/11/2024: Atmosfera curata e accogliente, piatti deliziosi preparati con ingredienti freschissimi e presentati con eleganza. La tagliata è stato il punto forte. Il servizio è impeccabile: personale cortese, attento e preparato. Rapporto qualità-prezzo più che giustificato per l’alta qualità dell’offerta. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca ottima cucina e un ambiente raffinato. Non vedo l’ora di tornare!
