16/11/2025: Looks rather as an upper class restaurant but price wise it is the same level as the traditional Roman restaurant. The food is just great. We tried also the peanut butter 🧈 style desert today. It exceeded my expectations (ought to say I do love peanuts 🥜). The wine list is grand and from all ranges of wine prices It is a yes to the team of Ai Bozzi.

06/11/2025: Wasn’t planning to go out, but got a bonus on a website (the one in the photo) and thought — why not treat myself? Ordered a pizza, and it was totally worth it. Simple crust, good cheese, fresh onions, and juicy tomatoes — just right.

05/11/2025: This dinner happened kind of spontaneously — I just decided to treat myself with the bonus I recently got from a website (you can see it in the photo). Cozy place, great food, everything made with care. A nice spot to sit back, relax, and feel that the evening turned out great.

06/12/2025: Trattoria La Sagra del Vino da Candido – Rome Among the trattorias recommended by our host, we chose La Sagra del Vino da Candido for its promise of Roman simplicity and authenticity. Our expectations were fully met. From the initial phone call for the reservation, which was friendly and welcoming, to the welcome we received in the dining room. The atmosphere is informal and authentic, the kind where you immediately know you'll be eating "Roman style." The dishes are traditional: flavorful, perhaps too much so, abundant, and well-cooked. We ate Roman food, and we ate well. What made the experience even more enjoyable were the colorful, spontaneous, and entertaining conversations with the waiters. In short: a genuine trattoria, where you can breathe Rome in the flavors and the people.

02/12/2025: Despite my "bad" day (not very hungry 😅), I found what I expected! Excellent food, very attentive service, and an old-fashioned atmosphere that fills the heart as well as the stomach! It's a real shame I couldn't show my satisfaction by finishing just the wine and not the truly special "meat"! Almost a threat: "I'll be back with enthusiasm and very, very hungry!!!" I never joke about two things: the first and second courses... ...and it seemed to me that they don't either! 😎

28/11/2025: If you want to eat Roman food as it should, this place is a guarantee! The place is simple, no-frills, but incredibly welcoming: you'll immediately feel at home. The kitchen is the true heart of the restaurant: typical dishes prepared as tradition dictates, with fresh ingredients and portions that won't leave you hungry. Carbonara with just the right amount of cream, amatriciana with the aroma of tomato and guanciale...and if you still have room, don't miss the supplì, the bruschetta...or the lamb. Everything is delicious and reasonably priced: you can eat well here without emptying your wallet. The staff? Friendly, smiling, and always ready to give you the right advice. In short, a Roman restaurant as it should be: top-notch food, a family atmosphere, and a fair price. I'll definitely be back when I return to Rome.

13/11/2025: We had a wonderful experience at Ristorante Arlù! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. Our server Olha was amazing – friendly, attentive, and very professional. Highly recommend this place!

16/11/2025: Average restaurant; we didn't have a bad meal, but the prices are definitely out of line for what's on offer. I strongly advise against the more expensive tasting menu; in my opinion, it's not worth the money. The waiter in our case said, "I'll take care of you," and in the end, on top of the tasting menu, we also found a hefty extra charge on the final bill. I probably wouldn't return. It's also our fault for not asking for the proper explanation, but the numbers didn't add up.

10/12/2025: Apuleius strikes such a delicate balance in my opinion between being elegant yet approachable, a place for a special occasion or also for a nice family lunch or dinner (two families were there with children while I dined), attentive service but not overbearing or intrusive. You're far away from the tourist crowds here on the Aventine Hill, but the walk or commute is worth the setting and the fantastic Roman food with local wine and ingredients. This was my fifth time to Rome, and the best meal I've had in the Eternal City over all five visits. The starter with poached egg, zucchini, and AMPLE truffle slices was delightful; my main (risotto with tuna/onion/bottarga sauce) was hearty and flavourful, special without seeming overly wrought. The deconstructed tiramisù was tasty and a delight to think about while eating. Many thanks to the staff for a fantastic end to my pilgrimage during the Jubilee year with such a great meal. Deo gratias indeed!

08/10/2025: Three of us went for lunch on the recommendation of one of us. The quality, quantity, and price were very good, especially the prices and service, which are among the most affordable in Trastevere. I had Tonarelli Cacio e Pepe. They were good, the egg pasta was al dente, but the emulsion of the pecorino cheese with the cooking water was not the texture I expected (I don't know if it should have been like that or not, since it is the first time I order this dish in a restaurant). The 2nd course was fried squid and shrimp, which were a success on the advice of the waiter (friendly and attentive at all times). For dessert, a Tiramisu, which was good, but I wouldn't highlight it as much as others I have been able to taste in Rome. The drinks were also cheap and good. The clientele is both tourists and locals. The waiter had the detail of bringing us an appetizer to eat, since one of us had been there.
