21/09/2025: Right at the top of the Spanish Steps, this spot is quite hidden but offers great food. The ravioli with guanciale and black truffle was great, and it was a quiet, elegant and low-stress experience. I would come here again in a heartbeat.

06/09/2025: My experience was through Wonderbox. The phone reservation was a bit confusing, but they were very kind in making the exception of accommodating us on the weekend, just a few days in advance. I expected the restaurant to be more refined and unique given the location, but instead it felt like a tourist inn. The menu was obviously limited for us, with no option to swap an appetizer for a simple salad: the exception was declined. Okay, but we left almost everything: hard mozzarella, sour burrata (we had it checked and they said everything was fine, but it still wasn't good), dry bread, gricia (ditto), and good pasta with tomato sauce. The staff member was very kind and offered us dessert to make up for the appetizer, but unfortunately, I didn't like the chocolate cake. A note about the restrooms: clean and simple, it seems like there's only one since the employees also use it. We chose this restaurant because we wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise given the prices on the menu, but it still wouldn't have been worth it.

08/08/2025: I often go to La Tana della Volpe, and it's always a sure thing! The risotto is spectacular, the sconcigli cream is unique, and the fried fish is always crispy. The oysters and fresh fish are also excellent, cooked to perfection. The place is beautiful, with an outdoor area, and the service is fast and friendly. The food is good.

12/09/2025: Simply fantastic! The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. I've eaten some of the best food in Rome here. If you don't come to Osteria Palmira, it's like you've never actually been to Rome!

03/09/2025: I've eaten there many times, almost always for lunch. I think it's a great place to eat, and the staff is very friendly without being intrusive or overbearing. The portions are generous, and the flavors are bold. The menu has just the right variety, allowing you to do things well but still have a variety of choices. I won't say "I would go back" because I know I definitely will. In my opinion, it's the best restaurant/osteria in Monteverde.

16/09/2025: Warm and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the lamb with potatoes and the spaghetti ragù—both were outstanding. Full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and truly satisfying. The portions were generous and easy to share. Highly recommend!

08/10/2025: A historic restaurant in the heart of San Lorenzo, a vibrant part of authentic Rome. Family-run, the same owner has carried on the tradition with passion and hospitality for over forty years. The atmosphere is refined and inviting, the food is truly delicious, and the bill is fair. The only downside: it was Sunday, we hadn't booked, and due to the packed restaurant, our order was lost, forcing us to wait a little longer than expected. However, the staff was incredibly kind, offering us an aperitif and dessert to make up for it. A place definitely worth a second visit—this time with a reservation!

01/09/2025: A lovely restaurant, combining traditional dishes with more contemporary options. The portions aren't huge, and the view is nice if there aren't too many cars parked nearby.

26/08/2025: We stopped by chance, because among the places on the belvedere it was the one that seemed the most beautiful and tidy, in fact it turned out to be a wonderful experience, we had various appetizers and a classic cacio e pepe, to finish a really good and unusual cheesecake, the service was polite and fast, everyone was really good.

03/10/2025: What can I say... simply fabulous!!! Classic Roman dishes, plentiful and incredibly flavorful. The Roman-style tripe is fantastic, the first courses phenomenal and plentiful, not to mention the appetizer with battered zucchini flowers and a wide variety of salamis, literally all you can eat. 🤣🤣🤣 I come here every year for Romics and it's love. The waiters, with their strong accent and "Roman" manner, make you feel at ease and make you love the place even more. I recommend it.

13/09/2025: I discovered Pasta in Corso in 2024. The first time I went to the restaurant, I had a great experience: the dishes were plentiful, hot, and tasty. Before writing this review, I wanted to wait and give it more than one chance. However, since this is now the third time I've had a bad experience, I feel compelled to leave this comment. This is the third time I've gotten the wrong dish at a restaurant: the pasta arrived cold and in small portions. Today, for example, I ordered a gricia, but it arrived cold, with spaghetti instead of the macaroni I'd requested. Furthermore, the plate was full of bacon fat and completely devoid of cheese. Basically, there was just bacon fat, black pepper, and bacon, all served cold. I had a terrible experience, and since this is the third time this has happened, I've decided I'll never return to this restaurant. I strongly advise against eating there. I'm sorry to have to write this, but I'm truly disappointed. At least they could have bought me dinner.
