02/08/2025: Very helpful staff and good food

01/08/2025: I dropped by this restaurant near my hotel around 10pm. They didn't have the artichoke frites I wanted, but I did have two types of pasta. The shrimp tartare linguine was particularly delicious. The noodles were fresh, even better than spaghetti, and very easy to eat. I usually ask for spaghetti, but I was right to have the linguine as is. It was topped with a generous amount of what appeared to be seared raw shrimp, and I enjoyed it just as it was, mixing it all together. This was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The price was also a little cheaper than other restaurants. The owner and staff were both very friendly.

03/08/2025: I've been going to this restaurant since it opened in 2001. I must say that every time I return, I'm always amazed by the quality and deliciousness of the dishes they serve. But this time, something really moved me. The last time I visited, I was reminiscing with the owner and chef about her famous scampi risotto, which she used to make right when she started out. I wondered why it wasn't on the menu anymore. To my immense surprise, on Thursday, after enjoying the famous and unique sea bass carpaccio, I was surprised to receive a complimentary scampi risotto on the house. What can I say? I ran to the kitchen to hug everyone, fantastic people.

11/08/2025: Deplorable welcome. With a reservation, we were seated at a table, and 5 minutes later, we were moved to another table less well placed, to seat 2 other people. The waiter raised his voice and became very unpleasant in front of our dissatisfaction. The other waiters and waitresses were dismayed, but we left in the face of this sudden anger and this unacceptable behavior.

08/08/2025: Great, local restaurant. You always come across returning families and guests which makes you fully confide in this place and its lovely staff. Food is made with homely love and care, they don't hold back on portions, oil or anything!

21/07/2025: The person who told me to come and evaluate here scammed me and I'm going to file a complaint with the PSP!! They asked me for all my details and my name and blocked me on Telegram. Be careful not to fall into this scheme.

18/07/2025: I think this place has just been renovated or is otherwise kept like a gem. The quality of the fish is incredible, the service feels like family, and it's also a pleasant dive back into the '90s! What more can I say? Keep it up!

12/08/2025: Roman trattoria, with limited vegan options: arrabbiata, garlic and oil, and side dishes. Despite this, the food is delicious, and the owner and his wife are extremely friendly and authentically Roman. Never intrusive, they're very friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality: entrees start around €12, side dishes around €5. Highly recommended for Roman cuisine; there are other more suitable options for vegans.

18/08/2025: Conveniently located off the highway, we stopped for lunch on our way back from vacation. Quality ingredients, good meat, and incredibly delicious spaghetti with fresh tomatoes. A lovely place nestled in the vineyards with plenty of outdoor space. It's a shame, though, because there was a bit of tension between the dining room and kitchen, and I think everyone felt it.

17/08/2025: This is the second year we've officially started our holidays at this restaurant, en route to our tourist destinations. It's truly a pleasure to come and eat here: excellent food, courtesy, and friendliness. And then there's the rustic yet authentic location. Prices are average for Ponzano, but obviously much lower than Rome. The desserts are also excellent (this time we tried the tiramisu and cheesecake). And then there's the pasta and meat dishes, superb. Highly recommended!!

08/08/2025: The scampi cream risotto was embarrassing, flavorless, not even half a scampi. The spaghetti with clams was nothing special; I make it better at home. It's a shame because I used to go there as a kid and it's still close to home, but these two dishes are absolutely nothing. I don't know about the rest, but at this point I don't even want to try them.

15/07/2025: Fresh fish. The sauteed mussels and their broth were excellent. The raw fish was honest. I recommend the grilled cuttlefish. The bread...I made three baskets of it, it was warm, with a very toasty crust.
