20/11/2025: A refined location managed directly by the owner and his staff. We stumbled upon it by chance on their birthday. €40 per person, everything, absolutely everything, no limits. Welcome aperitif with prosecco and a fantastic porchetta, probably the best I've ever eaten in my life. Appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, two side dishes with portions that deserve a lot of praise. Wine, water, Coke, coffee, an after-dinner drink, and dessert until you're bursting. The only less delicious thing was the fettuccine with meat sauce, a 5.5. Everything else is an 8.5. Porchetta is a 10. Well done 👏

19/10/2025: Food different from pasta and pizza, specifically I ordered roast lamb, which I highly recommend. For dessert, tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had. I'm giving it one star less for service because they were packed, and that's understandable. If I return to Rome, I'll return to this place. Highly recommended.

From the start, you could feel the authentic atmosphere, filled with authentic flavors and a sincere welcome. We started with the house antipasto, rich and well-stocked, perfect for immediately delving into Roman tradition. The carbonara was a true revelation: perfectly creamy, with quality ingredients and that bold flavor that only authentic trattorias can deliver. The meatballs were soft and flavorful, just like homemade, while the coratella won over even those who don't usually choose it, thanks to its perfect cooking and intense yet balanced flavor. The portions are generous, as is tradition, and the staff are distinguished by their kindness and helpfulness, helping make the meal even more enjoyable. All at a truly excellent price, especially considering the quality of the dishes. An authentic trattoria, the kind that makes you love Roman cuisine even more. Highly recommended!

I often go there for midweek lunches, but I've also been there for more substantial meals, and everyone at the table has been satisfied. Finally, a shout-out to the ever-smiling Head Chef, Assunta, her children Gilberto and Serafina, and the entire staff for their friendliness and prompt service. Well done everyone!

18/11/2025: A typical and very popular restaurant. The menu features traditional Roman dishes. I can't give a completely positive review of the dishes I tried because the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms (excellent porcini mushrooms) didn't seem homemade. The lamb chops were cooked well, but there was very little meat on the few chops! The chicory was excellent, and the baked potatoes were too oily!!! The staff was friendly, as was the owner.

15/10/2025: Given that this is a subjective opinion and should only reflect personal impressions, this was my first lunch at the Belvedere restaurant, and my expectations were not met. Dining on the terrace on a mild day is pleasant, but the passing people on the street is less pleasant. The menu is significantly revisited compared to the classics, so you either love it or accept it, which I did. I'm skipping the appetizers, although the crispy bacon-wrapped zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta are a risky pairing. The first courses, aside from the Roman classics, are average, with applause for the beef tortelli, while I consider the spaghetti carbonara with truffle to be decent, as the truffle was barely noticeable. The second courses are satisfying for all tastes, but the fillet with balsamic vinegar I ordered didn't sit well with the knife, and it also had problems chewing because it wasn't as tender as a beef fillet should be. The staff was friendly and discreet. The price was right. I'll try again, maybe not on Sunday.

05/10/2025: So, my wife and I came unexpectedly last Tuesday around 1 p.m. and we were very well received. We don't speak Italian, and the waiter did the best he could in English... until he told us that his colleague/boss spoke very good French (we're French)... and then the experience changed completely. The lady, incredibly kind and passionate, talked us through all the dishes on the menu and recommended mushrooms (I don't normally like mushrooms) and pasta with white ragout in incredible French without any accent (okay, she admitted she spent her entire childhood in France). We took everything she recommended and we had a great time. So, impeccable service, incredible food, and kindness (and French) that deserved the highest possible rating... we had a great time. THANK YOU!!
