10/04/2026: Decent place, great location. Not the first time I’ve been but I remember it being better before. Advise eating in warmer months because sitting outside adds to the ambiance. Inside can get too loud and hard to hear the conversation. Tip: get the carbonara, and pass on the mediocre fiore deli zucca, gamberi looked better for a starter

09/04/2026: We had dinner last night, ordering three appetizers, a fish first course, two meat second courses, the delicious potatoes, the tartlets, and the EVO ice cream. Everything was delicious, the place is very cute, and the service was attentive and friendly. My only complaint: Mario recommended the best dish to my daughter, and only the third-best to me. This will force me to return for the second course. 😁

19/10/2025: A corner of paradise in Frascati! Giardino L’Olivella is a charming place surrounded by greenery, where you can breathe in peace and authenticity. The location is meticulously maintained, with a splendid view of the Roman hills, perfect for a romantic dinner or a day with family or friends. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always smiling, making you feel truly at home. The menu offers traditional dishes with a refined twist, using fresh, quality ingredients: every course is meticulously crafted, from flavor to presentation. The local wines are also excellent, perfectly pairing each dish. Ultimately, a place you'll always want to return to—for the good food, the relaxed atmosphere, and the authentic welcome. Highly recommended!

15/03/2026: A spectacular dinner at this restaurant, far removed from the tourist crowds of the area. Everything we ordered was exquisite: bruschetta with tomato, anchovies, and stracciatella; artichoke; pasta with clams; and pasta amatriciana. An incredible experience. Highly recommended.

19/04/2026: Such beautiful authentic Italian food! I stumbled across this gem visiting the Spanish steps & Trevi fountain on a Monday and Im glad I did. I had the seafood pasta and was so good for the 1st time, I had a second main and had the lasagna at €14! One of the best ive ever eaten. Local wine at €7 0.5cl was great too. The waiter who's name I can't quite remember but I think Amodeo was polite, attentive and very pleasant! Would go out of my way to come again next time in Rome.

04/04/2026: Choosing this place to eat was a great decision; we really enjoyed it. The restaurants in the surrounding area were very pushy and insistent on getting in to eat, which we didn't like at all. However, here, it was the complete opposite. Right in Piazza del Fiore, with the morning market. The mozzarella with tomato appetizer was the only thing that wasn't very flavorful. The carbonara was delicious; it had been a long time since I'd had such a good one! The fettuccine with artichokes was also very good, and the fettuccine with mushrooms and peas was good, but I wasn't thrilled with the tomato. (Personal opinion) The house wine was good, and the bread was free twice! It was amazing, especially the oven-toasted bread. For dessert, the mascarpone was delicious, and the coffees were too. They gave us a free promotional bib so we wouldn't get messy. Highly recommended. The only thing I found outrageous was the €3 cover charge.

28/03/2026: A delightful surprise in the central Campo de' Fiori. Typical local cuisine with generous, carefully prepared dishes that are truly excellent. The tripe and Roman-style artichokes are simply breathtaking. Competitively priced for the excellent quality. The owner is incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.

10/04/2026: Highly recommend! I was shocked by how delicious it was! Every dish was amazing. If you ever see this place, you absolutely must try it! It's a pity I couldn't eat that much, otherwise I would have wanted to order so many more things. This place feels more like a family-run restaurant, with experienced staff, but the food is truly fantastic. Highly recommend! 👌

19/03/2026: Delicious Italian food. Prepared and served with care. The staff is very attentive. When you've had enough of pizzas and pushy people practically dragging you into the restaurant, go eat here. It is wise to make a reservation, though.

13/04/2026: The tables are quite close together, so consider whether you like that or not. It has a neighborhood diner feel, with Italian and other tourists; the ratio was 70 to 30. The waiters are friendly and provide fast service. In terms of taste, atmosphere, and price, there are better places; this wouldn't make my top 5. But if you're staying nearby, you could go one evening.

11/04/2026: Our absolute favorite place in Rome. Ate here six times over the course of our week long stag and truly can’t speak highly enough of the staff, the quality of the food, and the ambiance. Fillet with green pepper sauce - 1000/10 - blew our minds and we get it every meal Cacio e Pepe - 10/10 - delicious classic! Gnocchi with pesto - 10/10 - amazingly pillowy gnocchi with delicious homemade pesto Lamb rib with baked potatoes - 20/10 - can’t recommend enough!! Not “gamey,” and cooked to perfection. tiramisu - 100/10 - got this several times, just can’t get enough!! Flan - 1000/10 - oh my WORD! Best flan of our lives. Truly, such a great place and they went the extra mile to make us feel so special and welcomed! Thanks for making Rome lovely(:

31/03/2026: "Roma Caput mundi" It's easy to say that the capital satisfies you, it makes you enjoy your time. Rome is so much. If you want to reward yourself in the evening with a long-awaited dinner and you find the perfect place, well, then the day ends in glory. Let's now return to "Emilio," the typical Roman trattoria. Here you'll find the best. The place is simply what you'd expect when entering an osteria. Simple tables, a simple, clean space, wood-paneled walls, and paintings commemorating the passing of actors, singers, and celebrities who have dined here. The menu also respects tradition. Classic first courses, as do the second courses and desserts. On two evenings, we enjoyed pasta alla carbonara, pasta alla amatriciana, rabbit, saltimbocca, pecorino, puntarelle, and the inevitable artichokes. Rome on a plate! The cuisine satisfies! The recipe for each dish has probably been passed down for a long time, it is rigorously respected. Every dish is simply made to order. There you are, full, smiling. You've had meticulous service with attention to detail, willing to offer advice on culinary questions, and a very fair final bill. The restaurant, with all the tables always occupied, says it all... The icing on the cake is seeing elderly dad still checking on the guests as he wanders around, while mom does that in the kitchen. Our good evening was, "Thank you, we'll book for tomorrow night too." Hats off, guys!

28/03/2026: We were visiting Rome from Germany and had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The waitress was absolutely lovely, very friendly, and had a radiant smile. The ravioli and bruschetta were delicious, as were the Aperol and the red wine. Great food, warm service, and a lovely atmosphere – highly recommended!
