09/05/2026: Today I ate at Ripa 12 in Trastevere, recommended by a friend. Here are a few points: 1. First-class hospitality 2. Very well-organized tables 3. Menus featuring the freshest seafood 4. Maximum professionalism and courtesy of the service 5. Excellently cooked food 6. Prices are very reasonable, compared to those of high-end restaurants. Thank you for the hospitality and, above all, for the good food, which is not easy to find in Rome's historic center. I recommend it; it's truly worth it. I'll gladly return. 08/04/2026: I went for dinner to Sole and Luna, the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the linguine al pesto, followed by the scallopini with artichokes and mozzarella, both were fantastic. The torta della nonna, a creamy pine nut tart, was the perfect finishing touch. Great wine, along with attentive and genuinely friendly staff, made my experience even better. I will definitely visit again when in Rome.

This place is a hidden gem: quiet, intimate, and refreshingly unpretentious. The service is attentive without being overbearing, and the menu is a beautiful journey through Italian cuisine with something wonderful for every mood. The wine selection alone is worth the visit. But the real star? The lasagna. Honest, soul-warming, and unforgettable — exactly the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes after the first bite. Do not leave without trying it. Rome stole a piece of my heart, and so did this restaurant. I am already dreaming of the day I get to walk through those doors again. ✨🍷

07/05/2026: Every year when I come to Ristorante Virginiae, I look forward to it all over again. The food is simply incredibly delicious – authentic Roman cuisine, bursting with flavor and prepared with so much love. The ravioli and artichokes, in particular, are always an absolute highlight. On top of that, there's a fantastic, relaxed, and easygoing atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. Everyone is warm, friendly, and cheerful – you can tell right away that they work with passion. A very special thank you to Silvano for his good humor, his good cheer, and above all, his attentive service 😊 A place you'll always want to return to.

03/04/2026: We saw this resturaunt on a BBC programe... where to go on the Appian way walk....The owner is a character and makes a fantastic atomosphere...The food was delicious especially the roman pudding....It was a fantastic experience to try authentic roman food....We jusy loved everything about it.....Thank you Paolo xx

04/04/2026: Choosing this place to eat was a great decision; we really enjoyed it. The restaurants in the surrounding area were very pushy and insistent on getting in to eat, which we didn't like at all. However, here, it was the complete opposite. Right in Piazza del Fiore, with the morning market. The mozzarella with tomato appetizer was the only thing that wasn't very flavorful. The carbonara was delicious; it had been a long time since I'd had such a good one! The fettuccine with artichokes was also very good, and the fettuccine with mushrooms and peas was good, but I wasn't thrilled with the tomato. (Personal opinion) The house wine was good, and the bread was free twice! It was amazing, especially the oven-toasted bread. For dessert, the mascarpone was delicious, and the coffees were too. They gave us a free promotional bib so we wouldn't get messy. Highly recommended. The only thing I found outrageous was the €3 cover charge.

28/03/2026: A delightful surprise in the central Campo de' Fiori. Typical local cuisine with generous, carefully prepared dishes that are truly excellent. The tripe and Roman-style artichokes are simply breathtaking. Competitively priced for the excellent quality. The owner is incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.

30/03/2026: Everything is excellent, but if you don't like your meat rare, as they think it's almost raw, ask for medium rare, even though that's unthinkable for them. Everything is top-notch, even the prices.

11/01/2026: Last night I called at the last minute and they were very kind in finding us a table for two, very high quality grilled meat, they recommend everything based on your tastes, very kind staff, it's the second time I've been there and there will be others too.... I absolutely recommend it

07/04/2026: An endless wait, seated at 1:30 PM, up at 3:15 PM. The food was truly subpar, the pork butcher's shop using less-than-first-class ingredients, so messed up that you couldn't distinguish one ingredient from the next. Pasta with truffle cream and shavings was inedible, €15 for a forkful, then left there. Truffles probably bought in jars at a discount store, thrown away. Provola and porcini with frozen mushrooms, and provola practically melted in the microwave. Add to that the wait and the €87 bill, incredibly high for the quality of the food.
