Best restaurant in Rome. Ate there twice when we stayed in Rome. They set the bar very high for food and service, put everywhere else to shame. Arigo was the best waiter we've ever had!

We loved the atmosphere, staff and of course the food so much that we ate here the next night too. The pasta dishes and the pizzas are all delicious!

Their Green pepper sauce steak and cocktails were amazing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming, these gentlemen deserve a raise XD This place will definitely boosted your trip experience! Highly recommend to drop by when you are in Rome.

I needed a quiet restaurant for lunch, where I could chat about work without too much noise, and where the food was at least as good as Italian tradition. I had a great time; the place was quiet and private, even though it was about half full. The food was surprisingly excellent (Santa Maria Maggiore is a very touristy area, and I wasn't expecting anything more than a decent homework...). The spaghetti with clams was cooked to perfection, the fried baby octopus was crispy and not at all greasy, the seafood was as Poseidon intended, and the desserts were homemade. The fish, among other things, was incredibly fresh. The owner was friendly and personable, and the service staff were diligent. Nothing to complain about! Also recommended for a tête-à-tête dinner...

Highly recommended is this restaurant in the heart of the Esquilino neighborhood, just steps from Santa Maria Maggiore, the metro, and Piazza Vittorio. We ate very well: 1 appetizer, 2 first courses, and for dessert, apple fritters with honey, cinnamon, and cream... Excellent! Prices are reasonable. The owner, Claudio, is friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic first meal in Rome. We had the supplì and carbonara to share on the waiter’s recommendation, followed by tiramisu and coffee, and everything was excellent. The carbonara was especially good and a perfect introduction to proper Roman food. What really made the experience was the service. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, funny and welcoming, took the time to recommend what we should try, and even gave me some Italian coffee education when I ordered an Americano instead of an espresso 😂 Great food, very reasonable prices and genuinely lovely service. We arrived in Rome today and couldn’t have picked a better place for our first meal. Would definitely recommend and happily come back. 🇮🇹🍝☕️

Having just arrived from the airport, we were looking for somewhere to have lunch before picking up our rental. The sweltering heat meant we didn't have to look far and stumbled upon this restaurant. What a find! Our first Roman meal was delightful. The dining room is tastefully decorated, the service is friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious. Absolutely perfect! We highly recommend it! 🤩

We were a group of five and felt very comfortable right from the start. The waiters were very friendly, the food was wonderful, and the service was attentive; we didn't have to wait long for our meals. We would gladly recommend it.

I realized this is a classic. It was my last day in Rome and I just discovered this place within walking distance. We ordered seafood pasta and a limoncello cocktail. We didn't regret a thing. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was great, and Mario and the Russian-speaking girl were fantastic. It was a shame they discovered this place on the last day! We loved everything, I highly recommend it.
