24/03/2026: What a savory and sweet experience to tantalize the palate and represent the tastes of Roma. I was surprised at the size of the restaurant once we entered. There is plenty of room on the inside if you want inside dining because of the weather. There is also an outside dining area if you want to people watch. To begin my experience, I went straight for the main course. When I was being guided to my table, I spotted Lamb chops being taken to a table and they looked magnificent! So that made my decision easy. I couldn’t wait to order the Lamb chops with paprika double cooked salt potatoes & sweet ratafia sauce. They were worth everything my eyes told my stomach they would be when I spotted them as I entered. The Lamb was perfectly cooked! The ratafia sauce really made the Lamb chops explode with flavor! The surprising extra was a little bit of salt on the plate from the potatoes. Wow! That little bit really added a great boost to the flavor. I also had the mixed vegetables. They were nicely done with a little crunch. The finale for me was the dark chocolate lava cake with artisan vanilla ice-cream & red fruit sauce. Just roll me out and put me to bed. What a superb dinner! I finished with a taste of lemoncello. Wow! That really excited my mouth. Let’s just say that lemoncello is not for everyone. You definitely should try it. I highly recommend this restaurant!

10/03/2026: One of my favorite restaurants in Rome! It's hard to find one like this. Beautiful location. Elegant, but not overly so. Refined, but not overly so. Traditional cuisine, but with very interesting options. The service is appropriate for the location. It's perfect for a family dinner, a business dinner, or a slightly more special occasion. Truly a noteworthy place.

03/12/2025: One of the best restaurants in San Giovanni: their first courses are delicious (the homemade egg pasta, both with traditional Roman sauces and their own creations, is exquisite), and the desserts are tasty and satisfying. I've been there many times and they've never disappointed; the space is small but warm and welcoming. It's an ideal option for a dinner for two, a foursome of friends, or a family evening. Keep up the good work!

29/11/2025: A lovely place with friendly, attentive staff. Despite being busy, we waited a reasonable amount of time, and the service was quick. Be aware that the space is limited, and you should also consider that waiters also serve in the adjacent restaurant, which means the entrance door is constantly open (in winter, it gets cold). Our dishes were well-prepared and not banal, and the bill was fair.

14/03/2026: The meal was truly delicious. Top-notch Roman cuisine. The atmosphere was like a country trattoria. Tonnarella with artichokes and guanciale was a must-try. The profiteroles were superb.

15/11/2025: A restaurant I recommend without hesitation to anyone seeking authentic Roman cuisine in Frascati, in a family-friendly yet refined atmosphere. The cuisine is authentic Roman, prepared as it should be. Every course, from appetizer to dessert, was a succession of flavors: everything was exquisite, without exception. The quality-price ratio was more than fair, especially considering the quality of the food and service.

08/03/2026: We were there today for our grandmother's birthday, we were treated wonderfully, and the food was truly delicious. Appetizers included cured meats, ricotta, and a lovely trio of beans with pork rind, tripe, and giblets. I'll just say that mopping up the bread is a must! 😉 Then moving on to the first courses, my husband finally enjoyed a nice plate of pasta with paiata, as he calls it, done perfectly! My gnocchi with artichokes, crispy bacon, and pecorino were out of this world, and then the other classics, like carbonara and gricia, were also excellent. The tagliata and arrosticini were delicious. And a big thank you also goes to the very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.
