14/01/2026: I've always had a great time at this place. The style is exactly what I like: very rustic and welcoming. The food is good and, above all, there's a huge selection. 06/05/2026: A typical tourist trap in many ways. They push people to post 5-star reviews while they watch you before you pay (explains their high average). Food was not terrible, but mediocre. Aggressive selling by the guys out front trying to stop almost every tourist walking by, which is usually not a good sign. They weren’t full while we were there, so they weren’t in a hurry and it took forever to get our bill after asking for it twice. Lots of people walking by to watch, but many annoyed by the high pressure guys trying to rope them in.

23/05/2026: A truly delightful restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent... and so was the wine. I'd especially like to thank Tristan, our waiter for the evening... he was very efficient and professional. I recommend this restaurant to anyone in Rome!

23/05/2026: Visited here once. Ordered peach juice thought it would be fresh juice but was a bottled one. Egg linguine Seafood pasta and fresh tonnarello with pistachio and basil pesto, tuna and stracciatella. Pastas were good.

10/07/2026: One Sunday in July, we found ourselves in Rome without a reservation for lunch, and while searching on Google, we found this lovely little place. We tried the carbonara and amatriciana. Excellent and plentiful, although the carbonara had a hint of cream. We were disappointed not to find supplì or Roman-style artichokes on the menu. The staff were friendly and smiling, and we had a great time. The service was fast. A major flaw, in my opinion, is the underground kitchen right in front of the bathroom. It gives off a mix of unpleasant odors, and in my opinion, this situation is unhygienic (the bathroom needs a bit of a facelift). Prices are average.

06/07/2026: Our group of 10 had a dinner reservation for late June. Though the restaurant is small, they had a perfect table for all of us. We were greeted and almost immediately served a variety of antipasto including melt-in-your mouth prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, assorted fried appetizers, Roman artichokes, and more. We tried various local dishes including saltimbocca, cacio e pepe, and carbonara. One person noted the carbonara was the best they had in their life! All meals were delicious. For dessert, the pistachio gelato, tiramisu, and ricotta and cherry tarts were amazing. The staff was wonderful and the limoncello to close out our meal was the perfect ending. This restaurant is slightly off the main tourist area near the Vatican but well worth the walk. We'd definitely eat there again!

18/05/2026: A small, family-run restaurant near Monte Mario station. A homey atmosphere, just like eating at home. Typical Roman dishes are well-prepared, with generous portions and truly delicious food. If you're looking for authentic Roman cuisine, this is the place.

08/05/2026: A truly welcoming place, where you feel right at home. Generous portions, excellent quality ingredients, and traditional recipes. In fact, we were probably the only tourists; all around, the tables were filled with...true Romans! Congratulations!

02/07/2026: We passed this beautiful Roman traditional restaurant looking for somewhere nice to eat and it looked very authentic, homely and gave us a warm feeling even before we entered, i knew as we sat down it was going to be a meal to remember and it sure was. We were greeted by a very friendly man with a big smile he couldn't do enough for you and made us feel very welcome we had a Seafood Appetizer (Octopus & squid, Shrimp, Mussels & clams) with the freshest homemade bread straight out of the oven and the best Carbonara and Bolognese we have ever had. we would go back to Rome just to eat here.

30/06/2026: The food was delicious, they had a huge variety of not only pastas, but pizzas, salads and other things, too, the servers were very nice, and they spoke good English, so communication was smooth. they even recognized us when we returned the following day, and greeted us warmly. The foods arrived fast, too. I'd also note the whole vibe, which was very authentically italian, there was italian music playing in the backround, which only made it more enjoyable. Its close to the Colosseum, so if you want to eat near there, its easily accessible, and has much less traffic than other restaurants closer to it. Its also approachable by metro, since there's a station five minutes away from there. I'd strongly recommend visiting it. I had a pleasant time!

15/07/2026: We had linguines with pesto and beef warps with tomato sauce. The pesto was so fresh and home made and the beef was so soft. Both dishes were delicious, Bounissimo! The owners are very friendly and there were locals who also went there for hangouts, very nice local people with cute dog, Pongo, to play with! Highly recommended to have a local Roman food..
