12/12/2025: I go there at least six times a year. Not being from Rome, I go specifically for the carbonara and chicken...a delicacy. In any case, all the dishes are truly authentic and not industrially prepared.
07/12/2025: The staff were meticulous and attentive (I happened to be right in front of the kitchen and could clearly see their precision and care). As for the dishes, I can say that the cacio e pepe wasn't particularly creamy but it tasted good. The amatriciana was excellent. I wasn't crazy about the artichokes, and the tripe was a bit too heavy!

20/11/2025: We've been customers of the restaurant for 4 generations. Whenever we want to eat well in a peaceful and welcoming environment, we go to Trenino. All our friends, once they've tried it, happily return... highly recommended!
15/11/2025: Good food, unfortunately I had the carbonara and the tripe and the portions were comparable to those for a child, my partner had a 14 euro platter and he received a small plate with 4 slices of cured meat, considering that we both had two plates with a drink and water 52 euros for those portions I don't think it's fair

11/12/2025: It's a couple blocks from the Coliseum and the Roman Fora, so it's very close to the center of one of the most touristy areas of Rome. But, it allows you to sit in an interesting area, outdoors with decent food, prompt service and the world's greatest atmosphere. If you want to avoid tourists, even in late October, don't visit the Coliseum (or the Vatican).

È una bella, accogliente e calda trattoria romana che aggiunge anche la pinsa ai piatti della tradizione oltre a quelli classici della cucina italiana.
Ho provato il pollo con i peperoni e successivamente gli scottadito accompagnato da focaccia calda.
Un piacere per il palato.
Le porzioni sono abbondanti, buone!
Non ho ancora provato la pasta ma non mancherò: quei bei piatti fanno voglia!

22/12/2025: Located a stone's throw from the Colosseum, this is a traditional pizzeria that's well worth a visit. No need for complicated pizzas to enjoy a delicious meal. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Definitely not a tourist trap.

12/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questa Osteria in occasione di una visita nella città di Rieti cucina come fossimo a casa degustato una bruschetta con lardo e miele , tagliolini alla carbonara , maltagliati alla velletrana , tagliolini con fave guanciale e pecorino , secondi piatti invece polpette al sugo , trippa alla romana e parmigiana di melanzane naturalmente non poteva mancare il dolce crostata con marmellata e mousse di ricotta con noci e rum i piatti erano tutti molto buoni il prezzo più che onesto il servizio veloce e professionale .
08/05/2025: Dopo una attenta ricerca con TripAdvisor decidiamo di fare una tappa a Rieti per pranzare e puntiamo forte su questo locale . A volte la tradizione ed il buon nome lascia a desiderare ma nel caso di specie viene gelosamente tramandata ai posteri . La struttura è caratteristica e ben accogliente ( una tipica osteria del luogo ) il personale disponibile e gentile pronta ad accompagnarti in questo viaggio culinario...iniziamo dalle pietanze : la parmigiana ( con il bis ) squisita , il galletto alla diavola con antipasto da asparagi da provare sempre ma la differenza è stata fatta dalle polpette veramente eccellenti ... Prezzo rapportato al gusto , (se vuoi mangiare bene devi spendere ) decisamente un esperienza positiva
