07/07/2025: Excellent experience, with a variety of dishes, both meat and fish. The service was very attentive and professional. We were served quickly and left with full bellies and happy hearts. We'll be back!

04/07/2025: We enjoyed the experience at this location. There were 5 of us, and the owner set up a comfortable seating area outside for us to have dinner immediately when we walked up. Our dishes were great ( seafood pasta, pesto pasta, spaghetti with clams, carbonara, and the buccatini). We would definitely come back again.

26/07/2025: Can we sit down? "NO!!!!" Why? "NO RIGHT NOW!!" - Courtesy seems to have been forgotten in this place. We couldn't dine and can't figure out why. Tables outside were free. Inside too. The couple before us were seated. We're NOT!! Never again!!

08/09/2025: Ask for the menu or they will take advantage of you, like they did to us. We thought this was a menu of the day restaurant since the waiter started telling us available plates, but we were stupid and didn't ask for the menu. He brought out mixed plates of antipasti, and two pasta dishes to share amongst six. The waiter also said he was bringing out bistecca, I specified for it to be well cooked to which he said yes, but failed to inform us that he was bringing out bistecca a la Florentina, which is never served well cooked and is expensive .... long story short, good food, nice atmosphere, terrible service! They should consider changing the name of the restaurant to L'Isola dell'inganno.

08/09/2025: Chose this restaurant on our first evening in Rome based on recommendations by our host and because it was around the corner where we stayed. Wonderful atmosphere sitting outside with crisp tablecloths and the place all lit up romantically. Food was well presented and tasted very good. It was evident that this a family run business with many Italian patrons amongst the tourists. Highly recommend!

12/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questa Osteria in occasione di una visita nella città di Rieti cucina come fossimo a casa degustato una bruschetta con lardo e miele , tagliolini alla carbonara , maltagliati alla velletrana , tagliolini con fave guanciale e pecorino , secondi piatti invece polpette al sugo , trippa alla romana e parmigiana di melanzane naturalmente non poteva mancare il dolce crostata con marmellata e mousse di ricotta con noci e rum i piatti erano tutti molto buoni il prezzo più che onesto il servizio veloce e professionale .

08/05/2025: Dopo una attenta ricerca con TripAdvisor decidiamo di fare una tappa a Rieti per pranzare e puntiamo forte su questo locale . A volte la tradizione ed il buon nome lascia a desiderare ma nel caso di specie viene gelosamente tramandata ai posteri . La struttura è caratteristica e ben accogliente ( una tipica osteria del luogo ) il personale disponibile e gentile pronta ad accompagnarti in questo viaggio culinario...iniziamo dalle pietanze : la parmigiana ( con il bis ) squisita , il galletto alla diavola con antipasto da asparagi da provare sempre ma la differenza è stata fatta dalle polpette veramente eccellenti ... Prezzo rapportato al gusto , (se vuoi mangiare bene devi spendere ) decisamente un esperienza positiva

30/08/2025: Quiet atmosphere, Food is school cafeteria-quality, but A flaw They don't accept pets. The rude attitude of the waiters would also be questionable! It would be much better to have one more pet in the restaurant and one less waiter!

23/08/2025: You can enjoy classic Roman pizza in a retro setting reminiscent of old-fashioned taverns. Pizza&Fichi is the perfect place. It never changes, you can enjoy delicious pizza, fried foods, and homemade desserts, all at a very reasonable price.

28/08/2025: Variety of dishes? Not there. We asked for spaghetti with garlic and oil? The answer is not on the menu! We did not have a good experience... I remembered this place for Roman cuisine, but this is no longer there.

30/07/2025: The quality of the food, the kindness and friendliness of the staff (Duan in particular), and the precision of the service are among the things I've repeatedly appreciated most at Taverna "I Torquati." It's hard to find a place in Rome where you're not treated like a tourist, but here, the honesty and the pleasure of hospitality are the rule. This place is a constant stop every time I visit Rome. I know I'll leave completely satisfied every time I enter!

31/07/2025: We found this Osteria by chance while walking, and the menu beckoned us. We were glad we did because we enjoyed it. We had bruschetta al pomodoro to start and pasta afterward. What a delight!!! I don't understand some of the reviews because everything was truly perfect. The service is impeccable, and the establishment is very clean. The dishes are tasty and well-prepared. We received good wine recommendations. The setting is superb, in a small, somewhat private square frequented by regulars. The only downside is that I couldn't have dessert because the portions are generous. I also noticed that they have a winter dining room, so they're open year-round, not just during the tourist season. I recommend it and will return on my next trip to Rome.

20/08/2025: Horrible service. The staff weren't interested of serving us. When we ordered Dolce menu we only received the pizza. After 90 minutes of waiting we finally succeeded in gaining their attention. They brought us the check and tried to make us pay for the tiramisu we never received. Don't go there.

16/07/2025: Non un vero e proprio ristorante, molto più simile ad una trattoria vecchio stampo per i locali che offre, per i bagni ritagliati in pochi metri quadri, per lo stile vintage a dir poco di sedie e tavoli, per la caratteristica posizione interna ad una via appena dietro Piazza Navona: Navona Notte, ridenominata anche Senza Fondo, ti permette di assaggiare ogni tipo di tipico piatto romano grazie alla furba quanto intrigante formula All You Can Eat (a soli 19.50€ a pranzo, 25 a cena e nei weekend/festivi sempre). Le pietanze vengono servite in piatti da assaggio, in modo che ognuno possa testare un po’ tutto, sebbene la qualità non sia delle più eccelse, anzi… Presentazioni rivedibili, gusti lontani da quelli della tradizione: se dovessi scegliere, meglio i secondi come il saltimbocca e la polpetta al sugo piuttosto che primi come la cacio e pepe e la gricia, mentre piu accettabili mi sono sembrate essere carbonara e amatriciana (piatti comunque più ricchi e difficili da “sbagliare” in toto). Servizio altalenante, dipende da chi siete serviti: c’è chi è molto professionale e chi è più “ballerino”, ma nel complesso reputo l’esperienza fattibile proprio per la formula che offre. D’altra parte, accontentandosi e non cercando nulla di particolarmente elaborato, qui con 21€ a testa a pranzo si può uscire felici, sazi e carichi per ripartire a visitare Roma!

18/07/2025: The line is unbelievable huge the waiting time is about an hour, they didn’t have a lot of things on the menu even though it was only Thursday, the servers are rude even you speak Italian, probably they are tired of being so busy.

21/04/2025: Siamo stati il giorno di Pasqua all' Osteria 29 un pranzo eccezionale con un buon antipasto nella fedele tradizione romana una lasagna morbida e gustosa per non parlare dell' agnello che così buono non l ho mai mangiato e poi vuoi mettere la simpatia dell' oste... abbiamo passato un piacevole pranzo pasquale bravissimi!!!!

16/04/2025: Osteria semplice e schietta, offerta tradizionale e ben fatta, senza grossi difetti. Cucina abbastanza veloce. Unica cosa che non m’ha convinto l’antipasto fritto romano, composto da 1 piatto di ottime verdure in pastella.. ma solo quello.. se si confronta con l’antipasto dell’oste non c’è paragone per prezzo e varietà/quantità. Oste che interpreta perfettamente il ruolo, amichevole e un pò scojonato! 4 stelle se raffrontato con altre centinaia di locali simili che in realtà sono sòle!
