Good traditional Roman cuisine.
There are a few things to note:
- a supplì costs €4 (perhaps the most expensive I've seen so far). We didn't order it.
- we ordered something off the menu, ravioli with pumpkin and other ingredients. They were good, but there were four of them. Four of them. €17. Crazy.
In general, however, the prices for the other dishes are normal.

07/12/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, shame about the portions... a bit too small compared to the hefty bill!! A real blow! In a city like Rome (even though we're on the outskirts), value for money has to be the key, given the fierce competition...
09/11/2025: Excellent restaurant offering top-quality products. The cured meats from the antipasto are excellent, the amatriciana is perfect with homemade pasta, and the lamb chops are perfectly cooked. The homemade tart is very good. Very kind and professional service. The wine is excellent, and the fireplace room is cozy. Well done.

09/11/2025: Truly adorable place, with a welcoming outdoor seating area. After so many enjoyable meals here, it was one of our favorites... unfortunately, we've decided not to return.
During our last visit, we were disappointed by the rudeness of some of the staff: after a rich lunch (there were six of us and we spent a considerable amount), they rushed the bill and repeatedly asked us to leave, even though I was visibly breastfeeding my son.
Five more minutes certainly wouldn't have made a difference. Such an uninclusive and unsympathetic attitude completely ruins the experience.
The food is okay, but not exceptional, and tends to be overpriced. We asked for bread to be warmed (which is paid for) and were told no.

12/10/2025: Paying €42 per person for a dinner with appetizers (fried food and bruschetta), pizza, and dessert is absurd.
I suggest a 75cl beer from the Monks for €16.00.

09/11/2025: I have to say the food was good; I had fish and it was all fresh and tasty. The whole thing was ruined by the lack of customer service. I had told them I'd have a stroller, and in addition to giving me the most uncomfortable table in the world (for them, by the way), they also made me feel bad about it. All this was topped off by the owner's evasiveness and smugness, who almost seemed annoyed at having to listen to you. She should know that TV shows are a showcase, so customers who come after should feel welcome, not that she's doing her a favor!!!

13/11/2025: Excellent traditional Roman cuisine and spectacular grilled meats, cooked to perfection. In the evening, they serve unforgettable hot focaccia!
The staff, dressed as monks, are incredibly kind and friendly, making the experience fun and welcoming. Impeccable service and a unique atmosphere. Definitely worth a try!
10/11/2025: The atmosphere is certainly charming, thanks in part to the waiters' attire. I haven't tested the service because I ordered takeout.
There was a long wait at the end of the evening for two takeout pizzas.
I don't like the pizza, but it's typical Roman, so it's a matter of taste.
Perhaps a little too expensive.

18/11/2025: Keep in mind that it is in a mass tourist area, and that always detracts from the experience. Overall, a reasonable experience.
17/11/2025: An excellent lunch for a change from Roman cuisine. Original, traditional dishes made with authentic ingredients, tasty yet light. The extremely friendly staff pays attention to their guests and pampers them with a mint tea to finish, a signature dish of this cuisine. Highly recommended. I'll be back.

06/12/2025: I have been customers for years but unfortunately I cannot help but notice an overall worsening in the quality of food, service and attention to detail of the interiors. The prices are on average high.

07/09/2025: In our 11 days in Rome, we went to this restaurant twice. Mostly to confirm its worthiness of a 5 star review. Both times, we had very different dishes. Pasta the first time, lasagne and carbonara. And the second time we had beef and fish. In every respect this restaurant delivered excellent food and service. Authentic Italian service, which you may require knowledge of to understand the charm. We ate outdoors both times, and you are well shielded from both sun and general passers by. Nothing special about the atmosphere, but comfortable enough. It was our first night meal, and our last night meal. Fantastic both times.
