05/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, quaint and elegant. Roman cuisine done well. We ate excellent pasta alla gricia, amatriciana, and a fantastic artichoke alla giudia. The desserts were excellent. I recommend it.

15/02/2026: An old-fashioned restaurant where everything is in the right place, just like in a welcoming and rustic country house. The food is surprisingly good, especially the fish dishes, which are truly top-quality. And what can I say about the desserts? They have a dozen, all homemade, and all truly mouth-watering. And, in the best tradition of old-fashioned trattorias, the prices are incredibly affordable. I forgot to mention the first courses... Excellent! A truly delightful surprise, and one I'll definitely be trying again soon.

15/03/2026: I've been to this pastry shop and I have to say it was a truly wonderful discovery. The products are incredibly fresh and the selection is truly vast: there are so many delicious things, both sweet and savory, so there's truly something for everyone. It's the perfect place for both a delicious breakfast and a snack during the day. Another strong point is definitely the staff, always very kind, friendly, and helpful, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back. 🍰🥐

22/03/2026: Since the management changed, I'm sorry to say, but it's no longer the Frantoio it once was. Amatriciana with raw sauce, and finding a piece of guanciale is practically like looking for a needle in a haystack. Grilled lamb was a mini portion, half-burned and unseasoned. For dessert, we ordered the Nutella crumble, which had nothing to do with Nutella except a few drizzles of it dripping over a lot of cream. Well, I'd rather spend a little more and go to a place where the food is better. Again, I'm disappointed because before the change of management, the food was excellent. Aside from Paolo, who was always polite and courteous, the service also left a lot to be desired. It's a shame.

02/04/2026: I had a great time but there were a couple things that could have been improved. We ordered the lamb and it was super dry and overcooked. The waiter didn't do anything about it, didn't offer to bring a new one or even discount it. It was super expensive as well.

01/04/2026: I went here to celebrate my father's 50th birthday and we had a really great time. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, perfect for spending a special evening with friends. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to celebrate and eat well. I would love to go back!

16/03/2026: Although there were coffee options on the menu, when we sat down to have coffee, we were told to go to the bar if we weren't going to eat anything and just wanted a drink. Why would I have coffee if I'm going to the bar? It's not a tourist-friendly establishment. I don't recommend it.

29/03/2026: they kindly let us in without a booking on a saturday evening. our pasta course was very nice but the antipasti and secondo were not unfortunately. the beef was not well cooked, the pureed potatoes were cold, and the beans very overdone, sadly. it was trying to be a bit too fancy possibly.

25/03/2026: A fantastic "golden nugget after a long search"—that's how I'd describe the experience at Osteria Poerio! Ambience 8/10: Delicate, elegant, yet welcoming, the entire space is surrounded by a mosaic of wines and spirits, where you can lose yourself and be captivated. Dishes: I had the opportunity to try several dishes: -CHIANINA RAVIOLONI 8/10: Delicate, with just the right amount of truffle flavor to add just the right touch without overpowering the rest. 8/10 -CARNAROLI RICE WITH ARTICHOKES, BACON, AND PECORINO 8/10: The delicacy continues throughout this dish, with the artichoke flavor being perfect and unobtrusive. - SPAGHETTONI CACIO E PEPE 8/10: I'm usually reluctant to try traditional dishes at unusual places like this, but after tasting their cacio e pepe, I'll probably have to reevaluate my approach. It's clear proof that attention to detail can complement tradition itself. It's definitely worth a try, nothing more to add! - KOBE BEEF 8/10: I give it an 8 because I don't want to overstate it given my limited experience with this type of meat. The tenderness and cooking process envelop the palate like the light touch of a muse on an innocent's face. I hope to try other cuts of this meat here in the future! -FILLET WITH GREEN PEPPER 8/10: The temptation to give this a 9 is strong, just like the quality of the dish itself! A delicate preparation that pays homage to the cut of meat itself. What would I call it? "An experience"! PISTACHIO CHEESCAKE 9/10: I couldn't help but give it a 9 here, given the perfect ending to this culinary experience, a non-traditional dish with extraordinary flavor. Nothing more to add. WINES/SPIRITS 10/10: To accompany the evening, an excellent Bordeaux that we had the house select, and a personally selected MACCALLAN AMBER to accompany dessert. Service 8/10: Wonderful service, kind and always available for anything. Always professional yet welcoming. PRICES: Personally, the prices are perfectly in line with the quality of the experience. It's a high-end venue; I obviously wouldn't recommend it to those on a budget. It must be said that you can have an excellent, complete experience (including starter, main course, dessert, wine, and spirits) even for just €90 per person. Of course, it also offers the opportunity to experience something even more superior. PERSONAL RATING 8/10: I'll definitely be back to try other dishes on their menu. If you're looking for an experience, this is the place!

20/12/2025: It's closed permanently, but now they throw kids' parties complete with balloons and ball pits. At least they could have taken down the "restaurant-pizzeria" sign at the beginning of the street.

05/04/2026: Given that curiosity is a woman's fault and I'm a man, but as a Roman from the city center, all I was missing was the famous cacio e pepe from the old weighbridge. Let's start by saying that the atmosphere is a bit too much, and even at the reception desk, we weren't treated very well. Let's say they were condescending, and I can understand that, considering the Photos of celebrities on the wall, where they all hang, not to mention the media career of its owner. Let's start with the wine list: excellent, very comprehensive, but extremely expensive—let's say the prices are almost double those of restaurants in the same category. Finally, the famous cacio e pepe arrives, glued together with too much pepper and extremely salty. I ask to speak to the Chef, Mr. Simone Panella, who, annoyed, re-makes it for us, and I must say that we finally manage to eat a typical Roman dish that in theory should be the restaurant's highlight, even if, in my opinion, it could be the tip of a broom. Overall rating: 3/10, a place for rich and inebriated tourists from Rome.

20/02/2026: I've never encountered a situation like this. I ordered spaghetti with clams for takeout and found metal shavings inside. Luckily, I noticed it in time, otherwise it could have ended very badly. An incident like this is extremely serious and unacceptable. I hope serious checks are carried out on kitchen safety.

19/01/2026: The pizza was good, as were the appetizers (potato croquettes and zucchini flowers). Special mention goes to the homemade tart, truly remarkable!
