12/04/2026: Beautiful location, but in order; the appetizers arrived at different times, and my companion and I ate at separate times. My parmigiana, very delicate in flavor, was unfortunately cold...the parmigiana is good also because it's stringy. My companion's appetizer was good, but only one meatball with a small, disjointed zucchini flower was truly too little. The first course was good, tagliatelle alla vignarola, generous with the sauce, but two more tagliatelle wouldn't have gone amiss because we're still in the castles even if we weren't in a trattoria. Lastly, the wine, a half-bottle of Satrico served without an ice tray, is a trattoria-like omission that doesn't go well with the location and the higher prices compared to the trattoria. The straccetti with artichokes were good. We won't be returning.

01/04/2026: Excellent dinner, we ate the appetizers proposed by the chef, truly excellent, very friendly staff.

20/12/2025: The location is basic but welcoming. The girls serving are very kind. If you want a full meal, I recommend the half portions of the starters. Everything was good, though; the tiramisu was amazing, like being at home.

25/03/2026: I went back the other day with a friend of mine! Their sandwiches never disappoint! We tried a burger that was incredibly good, and the service was excellent!

16/03/2026: It's a decent burger, but it needs some work. The place is staffed by only one person, who doesn't seem very friendly. The burger itself isn't bad, and they apparently use good quality meat, but it's red inside and has a tough Maillard reaction on the outside. It could be improved.

28/02/2026: A welcoming place, like the historic trattorias, but the food is very good. Good offal, excellent steak, excellent lamb, excellent artichokes. They didn't provide us with a menu to see the prices. Service is quick and fairly attentive. They also make pizza, but we didn't try it. Only the focaccia was very good. I would definitely return. I recommend it.

14/04/2026: Food in relation to price: zero. You can't give a zero. A triangle of cake with a little bit of vegetables, 12 cannoli, a small cup of ice cream with 3 beers, a drink, water, and bread (by the way, we didn't order the bread), and they charged us a total of €261 for everything. I've never been charged €23.80 for service before. Excuse my language, we consider it robbery.

15/01/2026: Family restaurant, excellent food and delicious pizza. The atmosphere is very quiet and the service is impeccable. Excellent for lunch/dinner or a pizza. They also offer home delivery. I recommend booking in advance.

17/04/2026: Absolutely incredible experience. The food was outstanding, every dish that came out you could tell had real thought, care, and attention behind it. Nothing felt rushed or generic. You can tell the ingredients are either locally sourced or selected with intention. It’s not often I find myself asking if a restaurant sells their olive oil, but here, I did. The staff was just as impressive, friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do, which made the whole experience even better. Fair warning: this place is popular for a reason. If you’re planning to go, either get there early or be ready for a bit of a wait. That said, it’s absolutely worth it. Or… bring a pregnant wife like I did, turns out a little real-life priority access doesn’t hurt. One of those places you leave already planning your next visit.

11/03/2026: After exploring the Colosseum and getting tired, we took a break for lunch. Despite the crowd, our food arrived quickly, and the pizzas and ravioli we ate were delicious.

Tucked right in the heart of the city, this place is the definition of authentic.The atmosphere hit us the second we walked in, it felt completely original, like a local secret. The service from my fellow filipino was great and he was incredibly attentive and made the whole experience feel personal. The food? Honestly, next level. Everything was served incredibly fresh. My wife had the carbonara, which was perfection, and my artisanal sausage with lentils was packed with flavour. Even the kids were impressed—my son loved his lasagne, and my daughter’s bean soup and grilled potatoes were clearly made with the best ingredients.It’s easily the best restaurant in Rome for us and if only we found you sooner. An hour of walking around Rome to accidentally find you was worth it. If you want a genuine Roman dining experience that actually lives up to the hype, do not miss this spot. Upon entering, you're greeted by a warm and refined atmosphere, where tradition and sophistication coexist in perfect harmony. The attentive staff are capable of passionately recommending every dish on the menu.

13/01/2026: Everyone shares their experience. The place is welcoming and well-presented, as is the welcome. We ate meat, from chicken to pork. What I had was pork. Not a good impression. The taste was that of reheated roast meat. I understand that you can't expect it to be cooked on the spot, but neither can it be reheated. Everything else became irrelevant. Maybe it was just my impression, but I can recognize a reheated dish, and that was it. The cuisine needs reconsidering. For me, NI.

03/01/2026: Excellent trattoria with an open grill, where the food is excellent and you're always greeted by the kindness and professionalism of the owner and his wife. Highly recommended and definitely worth returning.

19/08/2025: Ichiban Ramen & Street Food 1. Location (Access, Parking): Next to Hotel Marisa 2-minute walk from Rome Train Station 2. Hours (Closed, Break Times, Wi-Fi): Open 24/7, no breaks, free Wi-Fi 3. Friendliness: Not friendly, but not rude either. It's chic. 4. Cleanliness: Overall, it was clean (the bathroom was clean too). 5. Menu & Taste: Ichiban Ramen & Donburi (Meat Bowl) I was craving Korean food and was planning to visit a Korean restaurant, but luckily, there was a Japanese restaurant my family loves right next to our hotel. The ramen we ordered was light, not salty, and delicious. The meat bowl donburi was also delicious, with a sweet pork rib marinade and easy-to-eat cubes of meat. The interior had a Japanese feel, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to try Japanese food in Europe.

28/03/2026: A lovely experience at a historic neighborhood trattoria. The appetizers were excellent and true Roman tradition, including the hard-to-find horseradish. The first courses were very good. The oxtail was a bit too fatty and salty. The atmosphere was pleasant and authentic, and the staff was friendly.
