09/03/2025: Pessimo. Cibo di bassa qualità. Nonostante aver dichiarato che i fritti erano freschi in realtà sono congelati. In conseguenza dei quali anche per l'olio sfruttato in eccesso abbiamo sofferto per molte ore bruciori di stomaco. Pasta da "buiaccari" servita copiosa e apparentemente a prezzi più bassi è decisamente un trucco marketing perché di qualità scarsissima da osteria di borgata. Servizio scarso, disorganizzato e confuso. Mi domando a che serve spendere 30 euro a persona per mangiare male. È meglio spendere di più in posti che valgono per qualità, servizi ambiente

04/04/2025: Etant chef moi même je n’ai pas l’habitude de laisser des commentaires parce que je sais ce que ça engendre, mais cette fois ci je ne pouvais pas laisser couler. Juste assisse on demande deux coupes de vin. On nous propose une seule option qu’on accepte même si le serveur n’a pas su me dire quel type c’était. Laissant passer le fait qu’on nous le fait pas déguster et le verre est mal remplis on passe à regarder la carte. Aucune option végétarienne pour la personne qui m’accompagne à ce qu’on me répond « c’est normal c’est une Osteria ». Aucune option proposé et on me dit que les anchois c’est végétarien. 4eme fois en Italie, une trentaine de resto et jamais vu ça. Passer votre chemin.

02/04/2025: As a chef myself, I'm not used to leaving comments because I know what it entails, but this time I couldn't let it slide. Just sitting down we ask for two glasses of wine. We were offered only one option which we accepted even though the waiter couldn't tell me what type it was. Leaving aside the fact that they didn’t give it to us to taste and the glass was poorly filled, we moved on to looking at the menu. No vegetarian option for the person accompanying me to which I was told “it’s normal, it’s an Osteria”. No option offered and I am told that anchovies are vegetarian. 4th time in Italy, around thirty restaurants and never seen this. Go your way.

09/03/2025: Pranzo di domenica per compleanno chiamato 40 minuti prima per prenotare era tutto esaurito dentro ,arriviamo e ci trovano un tavolo appena liberato, cominciamo a prenotare gia' si sentono camerieri che entrano in attrito tra loro comunque arriva antipasto italiano alla checco dimenticano carciofo alla giudia ,arrivano spaghetti cacio e pepe sembravano al burro con olio, tagliata di carne ottima dimenticano patate che contesto sul conto: struttura storica qualcosa da rinnovare, ma ha la sua bellezza , arriva sorbetto era latte,nn hanno caffe' decaffeinato.qualcosa e' da rivedere in questo storico ristorante ,fate voi buon lavoro .unica cameriera giovane che riparava errori di altri suoi colleghi farei gestire a lei molto veloce e educata.

23/03/2025: Poor quality of food and I'll mention just a few dishes: burnt supplì, cacio e pepe meatballs that were potato croquettes, a 12 euro cold cuts platter with three counted cold cuts, a creamy carbonara but with a guanciale that didn't seem like guanciale. Every dish was unsalted and the waiters were quite rude. To finish off with dignity, a crumble with supermarket wafers, a sub-brand Nutella and a cream that they passed off as chantilly applied with an eyedropper. A riot of tasteless stuff, neither infamy nor glory. And when it was pointed out that the dessert wasn't good and wasn't eaten, not even a single euro discount was shown on the receipt. Despite the dissatisfaction being pointed out, we were ignored (we said that the crumble wasn't good and asked for a tiramisu). If you want to avoid unpleasant surprises, change restaurants!

23/03/2025: This review is also a response to the owner of my partner's review! I'll start the review by saying that I've never written a negative review for a restaurant and, as you can see from my profile, I often go to some restaurants and I don't feel like a critic, but just a person who likes to eat from the most refined things to the simplest things! I've also read other reviews and it seems absurd to me that she responds in a piqued manner every time for every negative review, sometimes even involving the cameras in the style of Big Brother! I think that criticism should be heard every now and then in order to improve! About last night's dinner, I can only talk about my dishes, the first with payata, never tried. I have to say that it wasn't bad, but it certainly didn't make me dream! The other guys, however, who had the carbonara, weren't satisfied with the award-winning thing that one would expect from a world champion....! The pork cheek was very tender, too bad it wasn't salty and the blueberry sauce on top perhaps covered too much, but that's just my poor ignorant taste......! The crumbled cake, however, not being able to hear the story of the table behind, I can't believe otherwise because it really wasn't a crumbled cake. The cream was completely missing (we never understood if it was pastry cream or chantilly) and the wafers were obviously dry! I also told the waiter ("very kind.....") and I took the tiramisu, I have to say that was very good instead! So, as you see, if something is good one says so, we have no prejudices! Last thing, the supplì: the problem is not the breading which was basically good, but the filling, where I think the phone broke because I didn't feel the mozzarella and maybe it was also a bit bland! The cold cuts platter was fine, it wasn't bad, but not very abundant!! I conclude by talking about the stairs to go to the bathroom, to say a bit dangerous is an understatement.....

13/04/2025: Such an authentic place! Let's start with the fact that the design of the restaurant is really classic. The waiter and the rest of the staff are simply champions. Everyone was nice and treated us very kindly. The food was really excellent, we first took the artichoke and arancini which was very tasty. I had to try the carbonara and I did not regret it. Simply amazing, all the flavors are just accurate and in place. Highly recommend to people who want an authentic experience together with very high quality food

23/11/2024: Esto fue recomendado a mi hija y a mí por el personal de recepción en el Hotel Dei Mellini. Qué maravilloso restaurante. La comida era excelente, los dos teníamos el plato característico de Roma, espagueti carbonara, deliciosos entrantes y una gran botella de vino tinto a un precio razonable. El camarero estaba trabajando solo, pero él era súper, muy atento y eficiente. Recomendamos encarecidamente.

02/11/2024: Abbiamo aspettato 1 ora per un pranzo pessimo. Filetto con patate sabbiose e non certo fatte al momento come decantato. Lasagna più simile a una mattonella che a una pasta con una crosta di 3cm dura e non croccante. Tre carbonare utili come stucco per la consistenza e il non sapore. Sconsigliato.

05/03/2025: I love this restaurant! I went there with my family for 2 dinners, and both times, it was amazing! The quality of ingredients is higher than many of other restaurants in Trastevere and the prices are good. The service is fast, and the waiters are super friendly! I remember their names because they were so nice to us: Matteo and Malek. Oh and the vibe is totally as you could imagine eating in Italy When I will be back in Rome I am going 100% to eat at Dar Poeta!

07/02/2025: Una trattoria genuina e casareccia come ormai ce ne sono poche a Roma. Gestione familiare e tutto vero e spontaneo. Una menzione speciale per la trippa e la matriciana. Ma tutto buono e soprattutto, nonostante una grande abbuffata, sano e non pesante. prezzi assolutamente onesti e al di sotto di ogni aspettativa. Una esperienza di romanità da non perdere

18/01/2025: Sono stato due volte, una in coppia e l’altra gruppo. Posto tipico, alla mano e caratteristico. Purtroppo però, entrambe le volte, al momento del conto ci è stato fornito solo il totale, senza dettaglio delle voci, e rigonfiato rispetto ai prezzi scritti sul menù affisso in sala. Quella che la prima volta era un’impressione (famo a fidasse…) è stata confermata alla seconda occasione, che è stata e rimarrà l’ultima. Ovviamente nessuno scontrino. Il cibo è nella media, senza particolari pretese, come anche la cordialità di chi ci ha seguiti entrambe le volte.

28/03/2025: Sono arrivato in questo posto con una parabola improvvisa. Un mio caro amico ottimo ristoratore di Milano, viene a Roma e va a cena a La Pace del Palato. Quando lo incontro a Milano dice a me che abito in Roma Centro se fossi mai stato in questo posto. Gli dico che non lo conoscevo me ne parla molto bene e decido di andarci con mia moglie. È stata una bellissima sorpresa: autentico, eccellente, originale ma tradizionale. Cucina impeccabile e gustosa. Bravi, bravi e ancora bravi. E poi accoglienza e servizio distintivi, una cosa che non si vede più: gente che ama il proprio lavoro e che lo fa con passione, dal proprietario il sig. Renato al personale di sala, in particolare il giovane metre che suggerisce piatti e vini con professionalità, discrezione, gentilezza e sincera passione. Bravissimo anche lui. Ci siamo sentiti accolti come in casa nostra. In un mondo popolato da ristoratori filibustieri e non appassionati a clienti incivili, la Pace del Palato è una perla rara. Torneremo presto.

23/03/2025: La mia seconda volta in questo ristorante ha totalmente confermato che bisogna tornarci. Il proprietario Renato e la moglie sono persone gentilissime, accolgono gli ostili con quella simpatia tipicamente romana ma senza esagerare. Una menzione merita il servizio soprattutto quello di ieri sera, oserei dire perfetto. Passiamo ai piatti, qualità molto alta e piatti buonissimi, tutti dal primo all’ultimo compreso il caffè ( in tazzina con coperchio per mantenerlo caldo). Anche qui menzione particolare merita il tiramisù ( 10 e lode). Passiamo al prezzo che è medio alto, ma tutti meritati vista qualità e servizio e scelta di vini. L’ambiente è molto carino, non tantissimi tavoli, ma io lo preferisco. Vi consiglio di prenotare.
