01/04/2026: I went here to celebrate my father's 50th birthday and we had a really great time. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, perfect for spending a special evening with friends. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to celebrate and eat well. I would love to go back!

30/03/2026: The place is nice, but it all ends at midnight. How can a whole party, so carefully organized, end? I don't recommend it. There are better places.

06/04/2026: We were there in early April, with five of us. The restaurant fell short of expectations in terms of portion size and food quality, and the prices were high, even compared to the online menu. The location is pleasant, the waiters are friendly, but I wouldn't recommend it; other less well-known restaurants are better.

20/02/2026: I've never encountered a situation like this. I ordered spaghetti with clams for takeout and found metal shavings inside. Luckily, I noticed it in time, otherwise it could have ended very badly. An incident like this is extremely serious and unacceptable. I hope serious checks are carried out on kitchen safety.

19/01/2026: The pizza was good, as were the appetizers (potato croquettes and zucchini flowers). Special mention goes to the homemade tart, truly remarkable!

14/03/2026: Consistently great experiences at Da Secondo. The food is always good, prices extremely reasonable and the service is fantastic, with a special mention to Matteo who looked after us for our post 6 Nations celebration. Highly recommend

06/01/2026: Near Piazza Navona. The tiramisu was very good. I also recommend the focaccia to go with it.

03/04/2026: We had reserved a table for 7:30 PM, but the restaurant didn't open until closer to 7:45 PM. The queue grew long outside in the drizzle, and it was downright unprofessional to see waiters and chefs rushing towards the staff entrance around 7:35 PM. When they finally opened, there were two grumpy older ladies at the door who behaved rudely and unfriendly to anyone and everyone who came to ask for their seat. Even then we considered leaving. The evening was partly saved by a very good male waiter. He was attentive, pleasant and informative. The food: The Jewish artichoke was disappointing. The pasta was good, and cooked perfectly. The meatballs were disappointingly tasteless. The salad was also below expectations. Dessert was ok. Decent atmosphere in the venue. We probably won't be back.

06/04/2026: Let's just say the pasta with meat sauce was plain pasta with a ladleful of sauce in the center. I ate something similar in Scotland. I remember it with horror and nostalgia. I understand the rush, but mixing it? I don't know, but that's nothing compared to the treatment from the two waitresses. I've never had so many insults, scoldings, dirty looks, they hate people, I've never been treated worse. So much so that in the end we laughed about it because it was so exaggerated it seemed like a joke. I actually heard swear words directed at us under my breath. Now... I mean, I'm paying you... it's your job... you hate it... okay... but I have nothing to do with it. I feel sorry for the non-Romans who might think this is the rule and that we Romans are all like this. If you read this review, I apologize for them... sincerely, try going a little outside of Trastevere... maybe they'll treat you kindly.

11/12/2025: We visited this homey Italian restaurant and the experience was excellent. The owner was very attentive at all times, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious, very well prepared and freshly made, with that authentic touch that is so appreciated. Without a doubt, a highly recommended place that we will return to. 🍝✨

07/04/2026: A classic Roman trattoria/pizzeria, with a warm welcome and fast, friendly service. The pizza is truly delicious, Roman-style, thin and not too biscuity. The fried appetizers are well-prepared, very flavorful, and crispy. We also had a well-prepared and quite good carbonara. We had a great time and will definitely return. The price was reasonable for the food and service.

11/04/2026: A genuinely Roman atmosphere. Warmth, courtesy, and an authentic menu. We ordered a selection of appetizers and main courses, including the ever-present puntarelle (chickpeas); all accompanied by an excellent house red wine. Even the traditional dessert was a fitting conclusion to an informal and relaxing dinner, never boring.

17/03/2026: The service is quite fast considering the cooking times. The dishes are freshly prepared. I had the Rigatoni with oxtail sauce, which was delicious. My wife had a lovely amatriciana, which was very good. It's worth trying. Maybe you should book because the place isn't very big but there is the possibility of outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. Excellent dishes.

05/12/2025: Good food, casual atmosphere. Normal wait. There's one small problem, however, that's unacceptable in 2025: people were vaping comfortably at their tables (inside). Would a restaurant owner really tolerate this in 2025 and pretend nothing was happening, leaving other customers to suffer? Never again.

18/03/2026: This place was bad… we came just for the jewish artichokes and the stuffed zucchini flowers. Food tasted like rancid oil, artichokes were burned and the flowers had too much of the breading mix and really no anchovies.
