03/11/2025: It's like a traditional eatery in Spain. It's very popular with Romans and regulars. In Trastevere, it offers excellent value for money. The portions are generous; the calzone is overflowing. They have typical Roman dishes other than pasta and pizza. The taxi driver who took us to Trastevere recommended it.

13/11/2025: I came to dinner at Mazzo even though I'd read some negative reviews, and I was right! The food was excellent, with well-crafted dishes using top-quality, carefully selected ingredients. The wine list is also varied and well-selected. The place is truly TOP-NOTCH, with plenty of space between tables and finally a place where you can talk even when it's crowded. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Either those who gave bad reviews haven't actually been to Mazzo, or they don't have the skills to recognize high-quality cuisine. Well done, keep up the good work!

The owner welcomes you like an old friend, and in no time you're seated with a cacio e pepe that makes you forget the next day's tournament. Perfect carbonara, a true Roman osteria atmosphere. More than a dinner, it's a chance to get back into the swing of things.

27/10/2025: What a great experience at Ristorante Tullio! My husband and I had a reservation for dinner (which you need or you most likely won't get a table). The atmosphere felt like we were in someone's home for a family meal. Our waiter, and all the the waiters were professional and friendly. The food was incredible. For starter, we had the baked artichoke in olive oil and it was delicious. Then we had pasta which was cooked Al dente, as it is supposed to be cooked. My husband had pasta with tomato sauce with basil and I had the cacio e pepe. Both were fresh and tasted fantastic. The price was reasonable for a nicer restaurant. Thank you to everyone at Tullios for making our dining experience a 5-star one

05/10/2025: Recommended by a friend who's also Ligurian, I wanted to try this Osteria during my stay in Rome. It's a very well-maintained restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating, fast service, and very friendly staff. Naturally, I tried typical Roman dishes, such as carbonara (short pasta, perfectly al dente and a thick cream), coratella (just the right amount and beautifully plated), and finished with an excellent tiramisu, all accompanied by a good house red wine, served by the bottle. I'll definitely be back, very happy to.

25/09/2025: This small restaurant, located not far from St. Peter’s Basilica, is a great spot for lunch or dinner at very reasonable prices, with generous portions. I particularly recommend the carbonara and the pasta al pesto. Since the place is quite small and often busy, it’s best to book in advance. Service can be a little slow due to the high demand, but the atmosphere is warm and pleasant.
