A typical Roman trattoria serving traditional dishes. Everything is truly well-managed, with simple dishes and simple, seasonal ingredients. I wasn't thrilled with the carbonara; perhaps the guanciale wasn't the best, and I noticed they don't use just pecorino, which slightly distorts the flavor of the dish. Otherwise, I highly recommend the place. Try the bruschetta and tripe, which are truly worth it. The price is fair and the food is good.

As they say, "From the outside you wouldn't give it a cent..." But never trust appearances... an excellent Roman trattoria, simple but hearty dishes, homemade tonnarelli and gnocchi, cacio e pepe, al ragù, amatriciana...etc... with various daily specials that the season offers at the time. A bruschetta with tripe that melts in your mouth... what a taste!! Friendly and welcoming owners, very fair prices... well done...!!!

02/05/2026: I had the Gnocchi Gorgonzola here in 2015 and I think about it once a week. I lived a block away and came 3-4 times a week. Best plate of food I’ve ever had.
