13/04/2025: Friendly staff! Delicious food! Fair prices!

12/04/2025: It is a nice restaurant, we chose it because it was close to our house and the reviews were good. I went on Wednesday evening at 8 pm, there was no room, but since it was close to my house, I put my name on the list and they made an appointment for half an hour later, so I could sit inside, the waiters' English was sufficient and they were very understanding and friendly. When we expressed our sensitivity about pork, lard and alcohol, they made it very clear that their chef was Egyptian (or Muslim, I'm not sure) and that pork products would not be mixed into our orders, which made me very comfortable. In this way, me, my wife and my 7-year-old daughter had our dinner here. Our elderly waiters were alert for their age, had good communication skills and were especially understanding of children. The atmosphere was a classic Italian restaurant, tables close together, simple and clean decoration and furniture. I guess there weren't many tourists, so it wasn't expensive either. We paid a total of 47.5 euros for a mushroom fettucine, a lasagna, fried zucchini flowers, artichokes, a margarita and a liter of mineral water, I think the price was reasonable. Except for the margarita, everything else tasted great. Margarita was good, like the ones we've had in other places, but it didn't have a taste that would make a difference. It's a place I can recommend, especially if you are sensitive about pork and alcohol.

05/04/2025: Two plates of pasta, one of parmigiana, water and house wine, and dessert, just over €20 per person. Also, everything is great, I hope I can repeat it! Very friendly staff.

17/03/2025: Family lunch A restaurant that I didn't know, I was very enthusiastic, everything was very, very good, very good first courses, very well made second courses, I personally had a sliced ​​meat with porcini mushrooms which was heavenly to say the least, delicious desserts. 01/04/2025: This was hands down our best meal in Rome. I was a little worried it might be a tourist trap because of the cheese wheel, but it absolutely wasn’t. The pasta was incredible, and the service was top-notch. We tried both of their classics prepared in the cheese wheel — cacio e pepe and amatriciana — and both were phenomenal. We’d 100% go back, and I’ll be recommending this spot to anyone I know traveling to Rome. It was seriously one of the highlights of our trip! Our only regret is not coming here earlier in our stay so we could’ve gone twice.

27/03/2025: Mezclar la pasta en una rueda de queso fue un giro entretenido. Desafortunadamente, esto llevó a un plato frío de pasta para mi hijo. Todos los demás parecían disfrutar de su comida. El camarero era muy eficiente y amable. Pasa el aperitivo, son preciosos. Los platos de pasta son suficientes para una comida.

05/04/2025: Ceniamo in questo locale senza alcuna aspettativa, vicino a Piazza di Spagna. Piatti buoni oltre che belli, merito dello chef Fabio Mancuso. A contorno dell’esperienza si presenta l’ottimo servizio, in particolare il gentilissimo Simone, modi cordiali e veramente superiore alla media. Grazie! CONSIGLIATO

05/04/2025: Trop cher vue ce qui est servi. Le pain facture 6 euros c'est vraiment incroyable. Les touristes ne sont pas des pigeons. C'est dommage d'en être encore à des pratiques pareilles

22/03/2025: Yesterday was my first time at this restaurant. You can see that everything is new, even if I prefer classic to modern, I must admit that the rooms, the welcome and even the bathrooms are well done, with taste and elegance. I recommend the roast suckling pig with potatoes and the salmon carpaccio. The suckling pig was a generous portion, very well prepared and tasty. Next to the restaurant there is an hourly parking lot; it is not connected and there are no agreements (that I know of) with the restaurant, but if you can't find anything it is a valid alternative for parking at low costs.

18/03/2025: Fantástico lugar, ha sido transformado y redecorado desde la última vez que estuvimos allí. Está un poco alejado del centro, pero realmente vale la pena la visita. La comida era excelente, en particular el cochinillo y la ternera. No te lo pierdas.

16/03/2025: Amazing gluten free pasta (not on the menu, but they have it)!! The best one I had for 5 days in Rome :) Great house white wine and the best service! Highly recommend.

06/04/2025: If you love cod, this is your temple. The place is welcoming, perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or a Sunday lunch with the family. Having said that, even those who aren't crazy about cod will find valid alternatives including a pasta with bottarga and space tuna together with traditional first courses

15/03/2025: Caccio e peppe - extremely salty, to the point it was hard to eat it, needed a lot of water. Chicken presentation was amazing, but as a cook myself I pride myself in not endangering my dinners and having a sharp piece of chicken in my mouth makes for a bad experience going forward. Service - maybe it is cultural, but if I want to sit 2 tables down, 3m away I usually am allowed to do that, whilst here I was not, despite lack of reservations.

26/02/2025: By chance we came here. The place is elegant, and the food is great. The egg with black truffle is highly recommended. Cocktails prepared to perfection. A revelation!

22/03/2025: The backyards of Termini Station (Moscow Station), not crowded in the evening, the atmosphere is more like Goncharnaya Street, a little scary. But you walk into a restaurant and feel confident and even free. The place is young, the music may not be to everyone's taste. The boss is great, he obviously didn’t study in Italy, I think somewhere in the North of Spain. I recommend tongue, lamb and veal. The wine list is very modern, authentic, but there are also a few classics. Popular place, great guys.

18/03/2025: Excellent food, menu with limited choice, all interesting and particular proposals (tried pasta with meat sauce and saffron, then pork neck with turnips and turnip greens, both excellent). The portions are small and the prices are very high, the impression is that perhaps they are a little too high, but the quality and taste are indisputable.

19/03/2025: The food is a bit to greasy. Fried cod is fantastic, but pasta (with zucchini flower and shrimps) was too buttery. We also ordered “Saltinbocca” but it lacked some side dish. Ok experience.

09/07/2024: Augusto con la sua Osteria 29 é il meglio della cucina romana che ci si può aspettare. In soli tre giorni di permanenza a Roma, siamo tornati ben due volte a mangiare amatriciana, gricia, tonnarelli cacio e pepe e delle squisitissime polpette al sugo. Ambiente accogliente , parcheggio comodo e vino della casa buono. Prezzi giusti e porzioni abbondanti.

21/06/2024: Sono stata a cena con una mia amica. Abbiamo preso l'antipasto dell'oste, una carbonara e un rigatone alla coda alla vaccinara accompagnato da pane e vino rosso della casa. Che dire, super! Tutto buonissimo, cucina romana fantastica. La location è molto carina e ci siamo sentite a casa. Abbiamo speso pochissimo rispetto alle quantità super abbondanti. Niente dolci perché non avevamo più spazio per quanto abbiamo mangiato!

31/03/2025: I have never eaten so badly in my life in Rome and I lived there for a few years. There were 4 of us dining there. The products were not fresh and the pasta was overcooked. The fried starters were reheated but not prepared at the time, the "cicoria" was seasoned with too much "peperoncino" to hide the fact that it was not fresh and the "porchetta" was old and gray, inedible. I had stomach cramps at the end of the meal, just like one of my friends. I definitely won't go back.
