30/09/2025: We just walked by looking for dinner. It was excellent. Best meal so far after 3 days in Rome. Not only was food great but the atmosphere made us feel like locals.

25/09/2025: This small restaurant, located not far from St. Peter’s Basilica, is a great spot for lunch or dinner at very reasonable prices, with generous portions. I particularly recommend the carbonara and the pasta al pesto. Since the place is quite small and often busy, it’s best to book in advance. Service can be a little slow due to the high demand, but the atmosphere is warm and pleasant.

05/10/2025: Typical castle restaurant. All the first courses were exceptional, served by Franco, a courteous and knowledgeable person. Recommended. I'll be back.

13/10/2025: Super delicious. We didn't wait in line (important) and ate very well. Delicious pasta with ricotta and cacio, and pasta with meat... the most delicious pasta with meat, in our opinion. Very, very delicious. For dessert, the lemon sorbet is delicious! Highly recommended.

23/07/2025: Cenare da Mario significa immergersi nell'essenza della cucina capitolina, perché questo ritorante offre un'esperienza che va ben oltre il semplice pasto. Ogni consiglio del personale è prezioso, ogni spiegazione rivela l'amore per gli ingredienti selezionati e le ricette tramandate. Il ritmo del servizio segue quello naturale della convivialità italiana: mai affrettato, sempre attento. I piatti sono eccellenti ed anche i contorni, spesso trascurati altrove, qui brillano di luce propria. Il conto finale sorprende positivamente: prezzi onesti per una qualità che supera le aspettative. Da Mario non si va solo per mangiare, ma per vivere Roma attraverso i suoi sapori più autentici. Un'esperienza da ripetere assolutamente.

22/07/2025: Un ristorante speciale, datato con cucina di una volta. Che altro dire, se vuoi mangiare la vera cucina romana sei nel posto giusto.. Camerieri preparati ed educati, cucina di casa con sapori e prezzi onestissimi Carta dei vini fantastica, prezzi più che ragionevoli e scelta tra quasi 200 etichette Torneremo sicuramente Piatti romani, carne tartufo e funghi di livello altissimo Grazie per l ESPERIENZA

12/11/2025: The food here was excellent! I had the • Ravioli al Limone con Gamberi Pomodorini e Rucola € 20,00 and my wife had the Rigatoni alla Carbonara con Guanciale .€ 16,00 and a glass of wine and all was very flavourful.

05/11/2025: Honestly, so far my best culinary experience in Rome, far from the tourist traps, frequented by locals who had booked in advance. The staff were incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it.

13/10/2025: The osteria is located in a square at the entrance to the historic center of Trevignano Romano. Parking is a real downside, as it's practically impossible to find a spot nearby, especially on weekends. You can eat outside; the tables and chairs aren't the most comfortable, but nothing unbearable, and being an osteria, that's fine. But the real surprise is the menu, featuring traditional local dishes, especially porcini mushrooms and wild boar. Both the first and second courses are AMAZING. Special praise also goes to the very friendly and cheerful staff, as well as the very approachable owner. Reservations are required on weekends, especially Sundays. Excellent value for money. Well done.

20/11/2025: We walked across from the collosum to this place as my girlfriend liked the gluten free selection we heard they sold. No gluten free listed on the menu outside, and was closed on a busy Saturday afternoon meaning out walk was wasted 🤷🏻 Edit: After reading your reply I wish I could change it to zero stars. How rude 🤷🏻 You were listed on the Daily Telegraph top ten restaurants in Rome and it says there gluten free. I'll contact them and make sure they remove you as a recommendation 🤷🏻🤷🏻

27/09/2025: Excellent restaurant Pasta with anchovies and breadcrumbs, cuttlefish and calamari, sea bream, truly exceptional fried anchovies, and the desserts too 🫶🏻

03/10/2025: The atmosphere was lovely, the service was incredible (the waiter, Andrea, speaks a little Portuguese and is very helpful). I had the shrimp parpadeli, which was spectacular. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was good, but the cannoli was divine. If we return to Rome, this will definitely be a must-see for dinner.

24/06/2025: A place that knows how to welcome, not just serve. La Taverna della Scala is one of those places where you gladly return, because it leaves you with something more than just good food. Warm environment, with attention to detail, with a quiet and no-frills atmosphere. The staff is kind, attentive, present at the right time. The cuisine is the real strong point: traditional dishes, well executed, with clear flavors and quality ingredients. You can feel that there is passion behind every course. The recommended wine was perfect to accompany dinner. Fair prices, generous portions, punctual service. A restaurant where you eat well and feel at home. Highly recommended for those looking for authenticity and taste.

26/10/2025: We had the pleasure of celebrating with the whole family at the Consolini restaurant. Everything was perfect, from the food to the service. The table set for the occasion was truly beautiful. Well done.

15/11/2025: We had many expectations, but unfortunately they were partly disappointed. We ordered the flagship Amatriciana and Carbonara, plus the cod and fried artichokes. I'd say it was a big disappointment. The Amatriciana and Carbonara had almost no guanciale, and what little there was was small and dry. The cod and artichokes, however, were delicious! I don't think I'll be back!

15/11/2025: Poor quality place, slow service, and rude staff. There were six of us, and she only wanted to cook for four, while the owner said the other two should be watching. We left and will never return. I advise everyone to avoid this dump with the rats outside.
