14/12/2025: A disappointing overpriced meal. The restaurant really had no atmosphere, the tables are very far apart so it feels like a huge separated room, the music also had no vibe. We ordered beef ceviche, toast, tripe and fried anchovies. Ceviche was lovely, tripe was also nice, but everything was SO oily and greasy (of course fried food is cooked in oil) but even the toast was absolutely drenched in oil. Our mains were cleared and after half an hour we asked for the bill, and the waiter told us we ordered wagon wheel pasta (miscommunication as we wanted everything together, no one’s fault) and we would have to pay for it even if we were in a rush to leave because it was ready - understandable, but for a main to come out 30 mins after clearing is ridiculous, it took so long that we forgot we ordered it! Also felt like they forgot to make it until we said we wanted to pay and leave.

06/12/2025: A classic, casual Roman restaurant with exquisite dishes, a bit noisy and chaotic on weekends. I enjoyed my meal, although we had a long wait for lunch on a Sunday. Keep in mind that the restaurant is quite large (over 100 seats, I'd estimate). In any case, the parking lot in front is convenient (if you arrive early) and the staff are very friendly. I'll definitely be back.

30/11/2025: I've never eaten such terrible food. We were nauseous all night, both my husband and I. I'll probably never be able to eat my favorite pizza again. It wasn't good, and when they brought it, I had to cut it myself: no pizzeria will serve you uncut pizza. 🤬🥴🥴🥴🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

The restaurant offers spacious and welcoming spaces, with the option of dining al fresco, ideal for Roman evenings. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the staff is distinguished by their courtesy and helpfulness. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? Via della Magliana takes its name from the Magliana family, who owned farmland in the area. The neighborhood is also known for its vibrant social life and local markets, where an authentic atmosphere still reigns. Dining here means experiencing Rome like a local, away from the crowded tourist circuits. ROME IN DETAIL: Rome isn't just the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, or the Trevi Fountain. It's also made up of neighborhoods like Portuense, where everyday life intertwines with history. If you're looking for a place to enjoy authentic Roman cuisine, Er Fettuccina is a recommended stop. 26/11/2025: First place we ate on our trip to Rome. We had antipasti and then pasta amatricciana (delicious) and cacio e pepe, with lots of sauce. I would say that of the pasta dishes we enjoyed the most on the trip. The only weak point was perhaps the house white wine.

Warm environment, with attention to detail, with a quiet and no-frills atmosphere. The staff is kind, attentive, present at the right time. The cuisine is the real strong point: traditional dishes, well executed, with clear flavors and quality ingredients. You can feel that there is passion behind every course. The recommended wine was perfect to accompany dinner. Fair prices, generous portions, punctual service. A restaurant where you eat well and feel at home. Highly recommended for those looking for authenticity and taste.

13/10/2025: Super delicious. We didn't wait in line (important) and ate very well. Delicious pasta with ricotta and cacio, and pasta with meat... the most delicious pasta with meat, in our opinion. Very, very delicious. For dessert, the lemon sorbet is delicious! Highly recommended.

Ogni consiglio del personale è prezioso, ogni spiegazione rivela l'amore per gli ingredienti selezionati e le ricette tramandate. Il ritmo del servizio segue quello naturale della convivialità italiana: mai affrettato, sempre attento. I piatti sono eccellenti ed anche i contorni, spesso trascurati altrove, qui brillano di luce propria. Il conto finale sorprende positivamente: prezzi onesti per una qualità che supera le aspettative. Da Mario non si va solo per mangiare, ma per vivere Roma attraverso i suoi sapori più autentici. Un'esperienza da ripetere assolutamente.

Camerieri preparati ed educati, cucina di casa con sapori e prezzi onestissimi Carta dei vini fantastica, prezzi più che ragionevoli e scelta tra quasi 200 etichette Torneremo sicuramente Piatti romani, carne tartufo e funghi di livello altissimo Grazie per l ESPERIENZA

04/12/2025: I was in the area, reading the reviews I had no doubts, I sat down for lunch with my daughter..... I got to the point of asking if the chef was Italian..... They served me a carbonara, eaten because I was hungry, which was such a mess that it would put the entire Roman people to shame.... Lemon meatballs are better left alone..... Rigatoni alla coda is the only dish with a minimum of taste but due to the type of dish, strong in flavors, but so full of bones that you risk drowning......in short, I repeat what has been posted many times.... GENTLEMEN, FEEDBACK is a very important thing, it helps to avoid finding yourself in situations like this, I ate, I REPEAT, because I was hungry at this point, better a good healthy sandwich of any kind, be careful, than being ripped off and ruining a rare moment of conviviality with your daughter...... TERRIBLE

The place could use a bit of a refresh, but the core business is truly excellent. 1 bruschetta, 2 tortelloni stuffed with artichokes and cherry tomatoes, 1 sausage and baked potato, all excellent. We didn't order wine to avoid any problems later... Price: €58. You be the judge...
