21/06/2025: Mi sono recato in questo locale assieme alla mia fidanzata un venerdi' sera. Il ristorante sorge nel cuore dello storico quartiere della Garbatella, proprio nella piazzetta principale e ovviamente offre i tipici piatti della tradizione culinaria romanesca, serviti su una comoda veranda che si affaccia sulla piazza dove mangiare nella bella stagione. Consiglio a tutti di iniziare con un ottimo Antipasto all'Italiana, ricco di salumi e formaggi vari, davvero delizioso. Come piatto di mare invece davvero ottima l'Impepata di Cozze. Tra i primi immancabili gli eccellenti Rigatoni alla Carbonara. Innaffiate il tutto con un ottimo bianco dei Castelli e passerete senza dubbio una fantastica esperienza. Prezzi nella media e qualita' garantita: vivamente consigliato !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

02/06/2025: Simply a dream! The I Tre Fratelli restaurant is a true pearl in the heart of Rome. From the first moment you can feel a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, thanks to impeccable service and extremely kind and attentive waiters. The cleanliness is something that immediately strikes you: everything is not only clean, but excellently clean, from the tables to the bathrooms, a detail that really makes the difference. The food is fantastic. Tasty, abundant dishes prepared with fresh and quality ingredients. Each course is a feast for the palate. The wine is also excellent and always served at the right temperature. The prices are perfect, absolutely honest compared to the quality and quantity of the portions. A rare balance to find. In short: everything is perfect. A restaurant where you will gladly return and that you will hardly forget. Highly recommended!

20/06/2025: Very good appetizer and friendly staff. Two flaws: 1. There were 6 of us, we were told that we couldn't have different types of pasta, all either pacchero or tonnarello, when then at the next table we noticed that some had mezzemaniche, some gnocchi and some tonnarello. The amatriciana with pacchero loses a lot, but it was good. 2. A gricia that had neither the appearance nor the flavor, because it was clearly with butter, without pepper and the bacon was not crunchy, the girl did not say anything out of courtesy. A carbonara that should not have come out, because its color was black due to all the pepper there was. I must point out the kindness of the owner in remaking it and the second time it was very good. Very fair price, but maybe a refresher on the recipes of typical Roman dishes. Overall very pleasant, leaving aside these inconveniences.

15/06/2025: DO NOT GET THE STARTERS, otherwise you will think you went to a jewelry store. The prices of the starters are by weight, you understand well with this method the blow is coming. For the rest of the food the prices are well calculable and affordable. Consider that an appetizer with 4 slices of porchetta, 10 slices of salami, 15 of ham, 6 of cheese, 5 buffalo mozzarella ovoline and olives, comes to about 30 euros. Do it yourself

27/06/2025: I frequent the place and the standard has dropped over time. The manager was not at all polite in welcoming us: we had brought a cake from outside, regularly documented with a receipt. For the sole fact that other guests had also brought a dessert, she was to say the least annoyed and rather rude with us (if there is the possibility, customers do what is permitted; there is no point in showing resentment afterwards). The level of pizza is good, especially if eaten outside in the immense and beautiful garden. But the last lunch inside was truly a disappointment: miserable portions, bordering on embarrassment, and rather standard quality. Too bad.

The recommended wine was perfect to accompany dinner. Fair prices, generous portions, punctual service. A restaurant where you eat well and feel at home. Highly recommended for those looking for authenticity and taste.

I stopped by for a solo lunch and ordered the meatballs with oxtail sauce, paired with a glass of the house white (Bianca)—and I’m still thinking about it. The meatballs were rich, hearty, and absolutely bursting with flavor. The oxtail sauce was a revelation—deep, savory, and full of character, like it had been slow-cooked with love for hours. Accompanied by perfectly roasted potatoes and sautéed greens, the plate was rustic Roman cuisine at its finest. The crispy flatbread served on the side added a perfect crunch and was ideal for scooping up every last bit of sauce. The house white wine was crisp, well-balanced, and a perfect companion to the dish—refreshing without overpowering the flavors. The setting? Pure magic. Sitting al fresco, watching the world go by on a historic Roman street, with the soft echo of laughter and conversation around you—it’s what dining in Italy should feel like. Attentive service, generous portions, and that uniquely Roman charm make Tonnarello Scala a must-visit. 23/05/2025: Desde el momento en que llegamos el propietario nos dio una gran atención en todo, desde ayudar a elegir los vinos adecuados hasta explicar el menú. Este es un lugar tan pintoresco y muy auténtico tanto en el ambiente, la comida y la amabilidad del personal. No podríamos haber estado más satisfechos con nuestra elección de cómo pasar nuestra primera noche en Roma y celebrar nuestro aniversario.

30/04/2025: Mario y su personal nos recibieron como familia! El restaurante, que ofrece cocina local y está en el corazón de Roma, fue muy recomendable por nuestro hotel. Poco después de sentarnos, nuestro camarero llevó jamón curado a la mesa como regalo del chef... ¡una deliciosa manera de comenzar la comida! Mi esposo y yo pedimos la Zuppa di Stagione - una sopa con verduras de primavera y frijoles blancos - - fetichismo casero con hongos y pollo a la parrilla. Probamos el vino tinto de la casa, un maravilloso acompañamiento a estos platos. Mario y su personal se tomaron el tiempo para explicar el menú y adaptarse a nuestras restricciones dietéticas - - mi marido no come gluten o queso. El pan sin gluten era excelente, informó mi esposo. Nuestro maravilloso camarero también trajo biscotti porque no teníamos espacio para un postre completo. En resumen: Mario y su personal son de buen carácter y se esforzaron por hacernos sentir bienvenidos. La comida es realmente maravillosa y planeamos volver antes de salir de la ciudad eterna. Muy recomendable!

22/06/2025: Situato a Roma, in una zona non troppo centrale, il locale non è dotato di parcheggio privato ma è facilmente raggiungibile. Allestito in alcune vecchie cantine vinicole, il ristorante è molto carino e accogliente. Personale alla mano e veloce. Piatti tipicamente romani, porzioni abbondanti e ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliatissimo!

17/06/2025: While passing through Rome, this address was recommended to us by a tour guide. We received a very, very bad welcome from the waitress. We understood that she didn't like tourists, it was very awkward, and we hesitated to leave before the end of the meal. That's what we should have done... her behavior was shocking. We are used to going to restaurants regularly, I have never seen such a deplorable welcome. If you don't speak Italian, avoid this restaurant. For us, this evening was a very bad experience.

20/06/2025: DO. NOT. EAT. HERE. We had a reservation for 15 and arrived a bit early, waiting outside in their al fresco area. When they opened, the owner started banging chairs and table decors in front of us that left us confused and shocked. Apparently he was upset that the chairs werent in place , but instead of kindly communicating that, he acted in a rude and unprofessional manner. Such an arrogant man. Some of us wanted to leave right then, and we should have. The food was overly salty and nothing really special. Overall, a disappointing experience. You’re not missing anything by skipping this place. Save yourself the trouble— I wouldn’t recommend dining here. Again, DO NOT EAT HERE.

13/05/2025: This is the best restaurant I have had the pleasure of visiting in Rome, the food is delicious and the tiramisu is the best I have ever eaten in my life. The service is wonderful and if I am in Rome again I will definitely come back here. I will miss this food in Poland.

23/06/2025: I was a little hesitant about their rating, but I arrived and was surprised by the quality of the food. I ordered Roman and Jewish artichokes. The former was steamed and the latter fried. Truly delicious. It's one per person... Then I went for spaghetti (a slightly thicker spaghetti) with artichokes. Truly perfect and with a very original flavor. From there I moved on to dessert, a fresh and delicious panna cotta. The house wine was good. It's a good choice. I recommend it.
