17/08/2025: I've been going there for 13 years (having lived in the country twice) and it's still my fave pizzeria in the area, the pasta is also lovely. A hidden gem, amazing staff, wholesome food and a real Italian feel. They always change orders to accommodate my diet, remembered me after I'd come back from a 4 year stint away and always treat me with family!

16/08/2025: If you want authentic Italian food in Rome, this is the place for you! An authentic Roman restaurant where you sit among locals and feel right at home! The pasta and pizza are fantastic, the steak is grilled to perfection, and the tiramisu is amazing! Be sure to drink the limoncello after your meal 🍋 We ate there twice with four people, and everything was "Perfetto!"

27/08/2025: A cappuccino and a croissant cost 7 euros, I'm speechless. Honestly, there are tons of cafes in the area. A cappuccino and croissant in Rome costs 3 euros maximum.

06/08/2025: We came as a family and felt truly welcomed, right at home. The warm, family-friendly atmosphere of this Hosteria is something you rarely find: kindness, attentiveness, and impeccable service, especially with our children. The beef tartare with stracciatella was simply delicious, so much so that I wanted to order it again! My wife's sliced beef arrived exactly as she requested, perfectly cooked and flavorful. We started with a porchetta appetizer; perhaps the only small point that could be improved was the orange marmalade, which we weren't convinced by... but the staff took our comment with helpfulness and kindness, immediately suggesting alternatives for next time. A sign of true professionalism! The tuna pizza was excellent, even if a little richer in oil than expected, but still tasty. The strawberry dessert didn't inspire us at first, but then, upon tasting it, we appreciated the genuine, natural flavor of the fruit. In short: excellent quality, top-notch meat, kind and attentive staff, and an atmosphere that exudes human warmth. We'll definitely be back whenever we want some good meat and to feel like family. Congratulations!

08/09/2025: Amazing food and the glass of Chardonnay we had was excellent!!! On the other side, one of the waiter had attitudes and it was a bit uncomfortable.

06/09/2025: Had a truly spectacular meal. Four course meal and each course is worth coming back for again. The service was exceptional. Second time there and it was consistent. So I am sold on the quality of both the food and the service.

29/08/2025: We sat down for a soft drink and an Aperol spritz, and they didn't charge the service fee as if we'd been eating. The service was almost more expensive than the drinks. I don't recommend it.

27/03/2025: Nos encantó este lugar. Visitamos dos veces durante nuestra visita más resentida a Roma. Es un acogedor lugar dirigido por la familia. La comida es genial y el servicio fue espectacular. Todo lo que probamos fue excelente.

07/09/2025: How do I describe this restaurant? Maybe, local flavors leveled up. I appreciate an Italian restaurant willing to give it a twist! Classic fiori di zucca, nicely cooked, not too oily, well combined flavors. No firsts, straight to seconds although we will return to try the ravioli stuffed with tongue! Instead, we tried polpette and messicana della picchiapò. The polpette were breaded and pan-fried which was unexpected but not bad. The flavors were there, but a bit dry. I wished for a little bit of red sauce or a special house sauce?? The picchiapò was fantastic. Very flavorful and I'd say "off the beaten path" for Roman cuisine. We also had oven-baked porcini mushrooms which were top for us! And cicoria, always a win. Dessert was our least favorite, the best option being a soft cake with lemon curd. But a good coffee cleared our pallets. Service was exceptional, the owner was very thorough and friendly. Okay timing. The wine choices are interesting, many bio as indicated in other reviews, but they match nicely with the food. Overall we are satisfied and recommend. And we will be back, we want to try more! The baccala sounds amazing and we love that they often change the menu (for seasonal freshness). This little town is adorable and this little osteria is a local gem.

10/08/2025: I read some positive reviews and we relied on it... which I must say is disappointing... the menu was poor, only organic wines, rightly so for those who like it it may be fine, but not for everyone though... we ordered a mixed fried food on the menu it said for 2 people but in reality it arrived with a very hard dark brown breading, and a piece of each thing in total 8 pieces which would be for one person, you couldn't taste any flavor only fried breadcrumbs... we ordered since there wasn't a lot of choice, organic white wine, brought from the refrigerator to the table the owner told us that we had to wait to put it on ice because in his opinion it was fine like that... first of all I'll start by saying that everyone has their own preferences, I like it nice and cold... we ordered 2 first courses and the spaghetti with anchovy sauce was soaked in lemon in fact you could only taste lemon... poor service... the owner is as nice as judgement day... they want to make sophisticated cuisine but unfortunately it is not their professional door... I won't be back...

01/09/2025: Authentic Roman osteria in the heart of Garbatella. The food is typical of Roman tradition. The restaurant is also very authentic. The veranda with outdoor seating is a plus. The carbonara and the sausages with broccoli are very good. Good value. If you like home-style, flavorful cuisine, this is the place for you!

24/08/2025: A typical trattoria in one of the capital's central neighborhoods. Fantastic carbonara, Roman-style chicken, and tender tripe. The pizza is also very good. Recommended.

08/08/2025: This place didn't meet my expectations. The platter of cured meats and a small piece of cheese was good enough, but I didn't like the chicken with peppers. 😰

06/08/2025: Osteria la Foglietta is a typical Roman osteria where you can enjoy traditional Roman cuisine. The place isn't very large, but the tables are arranged to allow both staff and customers plenty of room. The decor is rustic but not overwhelming; in fact, it gave me a sense of a relaxed, family atmosphere. The food was simple but well-prepared (I had eggplant parmigiana and amatriciana, and my wife had a platter of chicken with peppers). I personally enjoyed the parmigiana, and the amatriciana was good, but the guanciale was sliced too thinly and barely tasted. Overall, it wasn't a bad dish. The chicken with peppers was well-done, and the charcuterie platter was made with good-quality ingredients. The staff who served us was attentive and punctual, and the price was more than fair.

24/07/2025: Classic suburban osteria, excellent food, and exquisite staff. Fantastic carbonara. Highly recommended.

19/07/2025: A great place to eat. It's hard to tell from the outside, but inside it's well-organized and clean. There are no menus, but the waiter tells you the details. There are no surprises on the bill at the end. The prices are fair, actually competitive. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos because I was busy eating.

21/07/2025: We showed up here on recommendation from our hotel Romanico Palace which is a few blocks away. We had no reservations as we were a little on the late side returning from a long day trip. They welcomed us in, treated us like family and served us a fantastic dinner! Food was delicious, house wine was excellent and the service was wonderful. Make a reservation and go to this one if you're close by!
