09/06/2026: I had dinner at this trattoria just last night (June 2026). The food was excellent: pecorino cheese appetizer with honey and walnuts, carbonara with artichokes, sautéed chicory, and a panna cotta, just to name a few, as the portions were so generous. The service was courteous and quick, despite almost all the tables being occupied, and the price was fair. I was truly satisfied; it's also located in a lovely little square, and I was lucky enough to be seated outside; it was lovely.

27/05/2026: A very nice, clean, and well-run restaurant. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food is top-notch, well-cooked, and carefully presented. Prices are in line with the quality, I repeat, top-notch. What really surprised me, besides the main course, was the dessert: trifle, incredibly tasty. Go there, you'll be surprised. I won't post photos because I hate using my phone at the table, but believe me, everything is delicious.

17/05/2026: A quaint, charming restaurant near Ponte Milvio. Well-prepared traditional Roman dishes, a casual and pleasant atmosphere, and fast, friendly, and helpful staff. We'll definitely be back.

16/01/2026: A very welcoming location in a strategic spot on Ponte Milvio overlooking the Tiber. Impeccably clean, a varied and quality menu of both meat and fish, and very kind and friendly waiters. A special thanks to Francesco, who served us with great courtesy and friendliness! A young man with a desire to work and super kindness, he deserves a raise right away!

13/01/2026: €90 a kilo of meat, tough and tasteless!! I don't recommend it. Never again...

10/06/2026: It's a shame, because the place is nice. The only downside is that they charged us €2 per person for the cake cutting + €2 cover charge without notifying us in advance. It would have been enough to tell us this at the beginning and we would have made our decision accordingly. The lack of communication is the best thing. --- Thanks for your reply. The low rating is due to the fact that the cost of the cake cutting was not communicated beforehand. Had I known the price in advance, I would have made different choices. Otherwise, I have no complaints. --

09/06/2026: The price of the coffee on the menu was €1.50, and the price on the bill was €4. It left a bad taste in the mouth. I don't recommend it.

06/07/2026: An interesting experience and good value. It would be better, however, to at least list the names of all the items on display, otherwise you'll have to constantly ask the chef, who sometimes doesn't speak Italian properly. Many items weren't hot, and some were too salty (e.g., cacio e pepe). The carbonara with truffle, however, was definitely NOT; it would have been better to have a classic one! The desserts were AWESOME!

05/07/2026: It's an all-you-can-eat experience in every sense of the word. Its unique feature, as the name suggests, is that you can find a bit of everything from the world's major cuisines. If you don't travel much and are even slightly curious, why not?! You'll be spoiled just right. The atmosphere is particularly spacious, with a diverse mix of clientele: from families to couples of all ages; from foreigners to locals. The food, however, is good quality.

27/05/2026: We went to Calice d'Oro this weekend for lunch after a recommendation from some friends. The food was good; we ordered appetizers and Roman-style first courses. While the appetizers arrived promptly, we had to wait a good hour for the first courses. We know the restaurant is busy on weekends (and we're thrilled for you), but ordering at 2:00 PM and eating at 3:10 PM isn't ideal. Plus, my amatriciana was a little too al dente for my taste. For three appetizers, two pasta dishes, a Coke, and a water, we spent €30 per person.

11/06/2026: We were invited to lunch for a friend's birthday. Despite it being a Monday lunchtime, the place was quite crowded, but quiet and definitely tidy. I enjoyed the fried breadsticks with prosciutto, but due to an error by the owner, who listed the dishes verbally (without providing a written menu), we were served a plate of ziti instead of the ones that were supposed to be "schiaffoni." The table layout needs to be re-arranged for larger groups of diners to allow for more comfortable seating.

09/06/2026: The restaurant is perfect for this season, with plenty of outdoor seating where you can enjoy lunch or dinner. The food is very good (honorable mention goes to the fried breadsticks with ham and the pizza), the service is fast and friendly, and the price is good.

25/03/2026: LOCATION: Er Fettuccina (formerly "al Mattarello") is located in the XI District (Portuense) at Via della Magliana 210, an area once characterized by agricultural fields and today still retains a popular and authentic feel. A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: During my visits, I enjoyed several specialties: • Fragrant pizzas, prepared with quality ingredients and perfectly cooked. • Homemade tagliatelle, a symbol of Roman tradition, accompanied by a tasty Danish steak. The restaurant offers spacious and welcoming spaces, with the option of dining al fresco, ideal for Roman evenings. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the staff is distinguished by their courtesy and helpfulness. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? Via della Magliana takes its name from the Magliana family, who owned farmland in the area. The neighborhood is also known for its vibrant social life and local markets, where an authentic atmosphere still reigns. Dining here means experiencing Rome like a local, away from the crowded tourist circuits. ROME IN DETAIL: Rome isn't just the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, or the Trevi Fountain. It's also made up of neighborhoods like Portuense, where everyday life intertwines with history. If you're looking for a place to enjoy authentic Roman cuisine, Er Fettuccina is a recommended stop. 09/06/2026: The experience was wonderful. We chose several different dishes, and since we don't speak Italian, we were having difficulty understanding the menu, but the staff were very helpful and polite, helping us understand everything. We had a wonderful and very pleasant evening. I highly recommend it.

30/05/2026: The food was excellent, but it was a shame there was too much pepper in the dishes. Worth a look.

27/06/2026: We not only enjoy coming here every year, but we make it a scheduled lunch or dinner. I like coming here especially for lunch because it's not too far of a walk from the Forum or the Coliseum. During warmer weather they have an outdoor seating area and there's almost always a place to sit without reservations. If it's say in March and they're outside, seating isn't open or it's going to be a little cold for you. Sometimes it's good to make a lunch reservation and if it's in the busy season, I definitely suggest a reservation for dinner. The prices are very nice for Rome. The food is not at all touristy and the staff is very nice. Be adventures on the menu, and definitely have one of the specials! Update: June 2026: There's always over a long period of timemany changes but this is still an excellently run restaurant and many more of the servers now speak excellent English and was true a few years ago. It remains a relatively inexpensive. Great face to eat with excellent food and sevice. The clientele are a mixture of locals and visitors to Rome. My favorite part was of course the cannoli for dessert!!
