02/10/2025: Our main dishes of the evening were rigatoni alla Matriciana (that’s how it was spelled), gnocchi alla coda vaccinara and tonnarelli a la gricia. These were delicious with noted qualifications that the guanciale pieces with the tonnarelli were judged too large (!), the gnocchi were assessed under-salted while the coda vaccinara sauce seemed a little thin, and my serving of rigatoni was enormous (no complaint there). 04/11/2025: One dinner was enough to make it my favorite osteria in Rome...the informal and authentic atmosphere of the osterias of old, the typical dishes of Roman cuisine. One of the best carbonaras I've ever eaten...may the Lord preserve places like this for a long time to come.

02/11/2025: Awful! They take forever to serve customers and bring simple dishes, even though the place wasn't crowded. Probably the worst matriciana we've ever had, made with a lot of recklessness. The dish should be simple, not crude. Definitely not worth the price or the time.

07/08/2025: amazing find! stumbled across this restaurant and it looked closed, but the owner welcomed us in and looked after us so well. .... really funny, charming and helpful. The food was AMAZING .. I'm just sad we found this on our last day in Rome as it was the best pizza and pasta I have ever had, ever!

10/11/2025: What can I say...I can't recommend this Roman trattoria highly enough. The food is truly delicious, including delicious carbonara and gricia. Desserts include ricotta, chocolate, and ricotta/black cherry. The price is reasonable for the quality and deliciousness of the food. I'll definitely be back often, and I'll be happy to return.

03/11/2025: Right by the station and they had plenty of seating when I went mid day. English friendly as well as gluten free friendly. Their pizzas and pastas are gluten free optional.
