A lovely, welcoming little place, with super helpful staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The food is truly good. The prices are fair—did I mention the food is delicious? The perfect place to take people skeptical about a meat-free diet. Definitely a must-see in Rome, in any case!

Discovered this new place in the heart of Garbatella. Delicious and tasty food, a menu so varied it's almost hard to choose, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A true gem of vegan cuisine, we'll be back soon. 🌱🫛

Magnifica (or is it Magnifico? I unfortunately grew up in a country where we only speak one language). One of the best meals I’ve ever had! Beautiful food and such a wonderful restaurant with the loveliest owners who made us feel so welcome. Unbelievable value for money also! Thank you so much Daniela and Barbara, the team and the doggies!

I've loved Le Bistrot for years. The food is delicious. Daniela, Barbara, and Claudio are warmhearted people who welcome you into their home, into their world, in a refined and elegant setting. Time reclaims its grip on you, you eat beautifully, you chat with the company at your table, you relax, and you leave refreshed, satisfied with that wonderful feeling of having been to the homes of longtime friends, far from the fast-food, sloppy Rome.

Good food, but very slow service. The place is very small for its number of tables, so (on a Saturday night) you end up practically rubbing shoulders with neighboring customers. The elegant decor and dim lighting lose their effect because (when full) it's very noisy. Our table was apparently forgotten by the waitress (probably due to the high number of people), who took a long time to bring the menu, to ask if we wanted water, and to serve the tables that arrived after us before us, without even asking if we wanted coffee and dessert. From the outside, the place always looks closed because the door is closed, making it hard to find the entrance. Nonetheless, the food is very good; I imagine it's better on less busy days.

07/06/2026: very generous portions, great ambiente, nice people! i really think of it as authentic roman kitchen, it tasted great. but only four stars because i had the feeling that i wasn't taken as seriously as the other guests (one woman eating alone). i saw that everyone else had the table beautifully set up, covered by two fresh table cloths and glasses. i didn't. but maybe just a coincidence.
04/06/2026: Table service and waiting times for food in particular need to be improved.

28/10/2025: The dish turned out to be really tasty and well-prepared — you can tell the chef knows what they’re doing. It looks simple, but the flavor was great, with the sauce perfectly complementing the freshness of the vegetables. I also calculated the calories using the service mentioned in the photo attached to this review. It was super convenient and fast — now I recommend everyone try using this calorie-counting service. It makes tracking your meals so much easier.
