Vittorio is a restaurant in Trastevere that doesn't offer the typical tourist menu, but where even Romans can leave satisfied with traditional dishes. Dishes are served in pots and pans, a common practice in Rome, but it's especially fun because the portions are generous and beautiful to look at. In addition to classic Roman cuisine, the chef offers his daily specials, which offer truly interesting gourmet options. Air-conditioned restaurant a few minutes from Santa Maria di T. The bruschetta, pasta, and salads are generous and very good, with excellent value for money. However, the tiramisu was very disappointing, which is a shame.

The food was edible, but the worst part was that they charged us 12 euros for two cheap McDonald's Cokes (6 euros each) plus 7.5 euros for service. Two terrible Cokes, tap water, two ordinary pizzas, and some spaghetti: 54 euros.

The waiters are friendly and helpful, and they have a lovely outdoor terrace at the foot of a church. 19/07/2026: We came back after 10 years... still the same great Italian food. A real treat.
16/07/2026: By far the best carbonara I've ever had. The seasoning and consistency were perfect, absolutely nothing to complain about! The only downside is that the atmosphere is a little warm, but nothing too bad! It's totally worth it!
