A very friendly and caring welcome. A menu in French, attentive waiters and waitresses, excellent dishes and refined cuisine. We highly recommend this restaurant which is close to the Coliseum. Thank you for this parenthesis of Italian flavors.

We had a lovely lunch here. Given the amount of typical tourist trap places in the area, we were so pleased to find this authentic Italian gem so close to the colosseum. The hosts were so warm and friendly, even helping with my attempts at Italian. The food was spot on, bustling with flavour. Thank you

The location speaks for itself, we are in fact behind the Basilica of San Clemente, in splendid Rome. Here we don't joke about the ingredients and the excellent dishes are a direct consequence of the attention paid to the raw materials. We find tradition and innovation in an informal environment that is expertly and cordially managed. Highly recommended. I went back yesterday and found it even rejuvenated, with an offer suitable for every age and need, from aperitif to dinner! Everything was excellent and served with extreme courtesy and professionalism!

I'm Roman and I eat Roman dishes either at my home or at Hostaria I Clementini. Welcoming environment, smart staff, excellent raw materials. In 2004 I was there to eat at their first dinners and in 2024 I still go there to eat great and feel at home. Another category (Roman-style fried food is a unique experience to live)!
And then it is close to the Colosseum.
Highly recommended!

We ate here on our first night in Rome. The restaurant was located right by the AirBnB where we were staying, a few steps from the Colosseum. We booked our table in advance, which was useful as the restaurant was full when we arrived. We had a delicious meal, first some antipasti and then pasta and dessert. Everything was very tasty, prepared with care, and more than enough. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely do it again.
