Very nice place in front of Piazza Trilussa. They offered us some off-menu items and obviously it was our fault for not asking the prices... but they offered us liquid pouch eggs with fine truffles as an appetizer and hard-boiled eggs arrived at a cost of €28 per dish. Even though we pointed out at the checkout that the three eggs we had taken were not done well (God forbid the mistake is legitimate x) we were not even taken away €1, perhaps because we had booked with the fork and had to be grateful for already having the discount.

An unmissable address in a very nice and lively neighborhood. Refined and typical cuisine. Quality service, very pleasant waiters. We feasted. You can go there with your eyes closed.

Esperienza fantastica, il Sottosopra si trova a Trastevere, gestito da personale competente, che riesce a farti sentire subito a tuo agio. Location curatissima, molto accogliente. Ci hanno seguito Massimo ed un suo collega che sono stati fantastici nel consigliarci il cibo e poi durante tutta la serata sempre attenti e simpatici. Il cibo è qualcosa di spettacolare, tipico romano ma rivisto in chiave moderna. Davvero una serata da ricordare.

Locale elegante con bella terrazza alle spalle di Piazza Trilussa. Bello il cortile esterno molto raccolto. Personale attento e gentile. Ottimi i cocktail, così come l’aperitivo con taglieri di salumi e formaggi e focaccia calda, patatine stick fresche e olive. Prezzo medio alto così come il livello.

27/03/2024: Although I couldn't taste it here, when I asked if it was possible to dine for one person, they did their best to accommodate me. He did not forget to apologize as there were not enough seats for one person. I can't forget that service, so I give it a score. It would definitely have been delicious.
