20/07/2025: It's a great place! Coming out of the MAXXI museum, we accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant and it was a great find. The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty too! The owner is a very nice man who came up to each guest and had a short conversation:) told us how best to get to the place we needed and was very friendly! I definitely recommend visiting 5⭐️

14/07/2025: What a discovery! We stumbled upon it by mistake before a concert at the Stadio Olimpico. We needed an early dinner, and right from the phone, they were available to book us a table for the kitchen's opening time. Despite arriving well in advance (30 minutes), due to the rain, we were greeted warmly and kindly, and they began serving us before the previously agreed-upon time. The first courses were delicious: the carbonara was creamy and rich with guanciale, while the other first course (with cod) was flavorful and intense. The walnut bread served in a basket was truly delicious. All the staff were warm and friendly... they even gave us an umbrella so we could get to the stadium without getting wet. Recommended!!!!!

23/07/2025: My wife hates going back to the same places too often, whether they're restaurants or places. She comes to Mamma Angelina two or three times a month. If I suggest a change, knowing her, she says, "Why don't we go to Mamma Angelina? Isn't it better?" The quality/price ratio is rare in Rome, the staff is incredibly kind, and the menu is varied, well-prepared, and tasty. Mario

13/07/2025: What a beautiful little place! We walked by and our eyes caught the fresh basilica outside. A look inside; seeing the prosciutto being freshly cut - we soon asked for a table. The staff were super accommodating and stored our luggage in the back while we ate. The food was amazing. We had fresh tomato salad with burrata, Salad with prosciutto crudo, carbonara and they made a nice basic pasta for our kids. It was delicious, fresh and atmosphere so calm and nice. Def. Worth a stop.

23/07/2025: Truly an excellent restaurant in the heart of Garbatella, serving traditional Roman dishes alongside some ever-changing, more modern take on pairings that may seem unusual but are always spot-on. In the summer, the portico creates a priceless breeze. Worth a try and return time and time again throughout the seasons!

05/08/2025: I double dipped on artichokes. The artichoke pasta was the best thing I ate in Rome! Service was friendly and excellent. Off the beaten path so definitely felt like a locals spot. Will for sure go back next time I’m in Rome.

19/07/2025: We went to Trapizzino after the concert at the Olympic Stadium (they're open until 2:00 AM). When we arrived, there was a line of about 20 meters, but it moved quickly, and the "Fast Lane" outside (which serves only two types of suppli, classic and vegetarian, and beer/Coke/water) allows you to buy something to while away the brief wait. Inside, the selection is wide; we tried: - meatball trapizzino: good; - chicken cacciatore trapizzino: sublime, a must try; - cod supplì: delicious; - tortellino supplì: good, a must try at least once. Fair prices (2 trapizzini, 3 supplì, 1 Coke, and 1 beer: €24), quick service, and excellent ingredients. Highly recommended

16/07/2025: Excellent service, the waiter was very kind and attentive. The food was exquisite and plentiful; you can tell it was all fresh and homemade. The price was really affordable for the amount we ate. We will definitely be back soon.

12/07/2025: Pasé un viernes por la tarde aquí en julio. El ambiente es relajado, acogedor y cálido. El servicio fue impecable. Comenzamos con un plato de vino tinto y queso recomendado que fue fantástico, los acompañamientos incluían peras, miel, rúcula y zanahorias. La selección de quesos era suave y increíblemente deliciosa. Para la cena mi marido pidió pollo y yo berenjena a la parmesana. Recomiendo mucho ambos. El sabor era complejo y delicioso. ¡Las porciones eran tan grandes que trajimos algunas a casa! Terminamos nuestra comida con limoncello elaborado en el lugar, el limón fresco era increíble. ¡Es imprescindible! Este es un encantador restaurante familiar (¡¡¡desde hace 44 años!!!). Había mucha gente local comiendo (se notaba por la forma en que los saludaban), ¡lo cual dice algo! El personal fue cálido y paciente con nuestros intentos de comunicarnos en Inglés y hablaba Inglés si eso es importante para usted. Excelente ubicación. Estamos muy contentos de haber elegido este restaurante. Servicio, cocina y ambiente son un 10.

23/06/2025: A traditional restaurant with good Italian food. It's very well located, and the service was very friendly. The terrace is particularly quiet and has plenty of tables.

27/07/2025: Excellent! Everything was delicious, from the arrosticini to the steak to the grilled radicchio. The beef fillet with pistachios: a delight for the palate 😋 Highly recommended!

25/07/2025: Lunch for 4. We each ordered a first course and a side dish. The carbonara was quite good, but let's say not unforgettable. Slow service: it felt like they were finishing up one table and then starting the next one based on when it arrived.
