La Fraschetteria Di Mastro

19/07/2026: We tried this place two years ago for a Communion. We were guests, and the quality of the various dishes we tasted was immediately apparent.
This evening we were able to try this place again and sampled both Roman and Sicilian cuisine, thanks to the Sicilian-born chef.
All I can say is: exceptional!
Especially the STIMPIRATA, a Sicilian dish made with tuna and seasoned with top-quality ingredients.
We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Rome.
18/07/2026: Our entire experience was truly wonderful!
We arrived at 6 pm, and at that time, they only serve aperitifs on the terrace. You have to wait until 6 pm to get a main course and be seated inside.
The €15 aperitif menu is a really great deal; it was more than enough for us, and we had fabulous desserts.
The service was impeccable, with everyone smiling!
If you're looking for a place in the neighborhood, don't hesitate! 😊

If you're looking for a truly traditional Roman restaurant, where you can eat excellently and spend a more than reasonable amount, this is the place. Authentic dishes, generous portions, and flavors that perfectly capture Roman tradition.
But what made this experience truly special was Claudia. A woman of rare sweetness and humanity, always available, attentive, and welcoming. She made us feel at home from the first moment and helped make the lunch unforgettable. Without her, it wouldn't have been the same.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and for the passion you put into your work. We will definitely be back and can't wait to see you again! ❤️🍝✨

07/08/2026: I loved the place. The server was so nice and friendly. Place was recommended by our air bnb host and I don’t regret waking 20 mins to it. Ham and cheese was over so server brought us another appetizer for free. Wow service!

It's located at Via delle Ciliegie 145, in the Alessandrino area of Rome.
I went with family and we tried several dishes, all excellent.
Affordable prices, and Rita is very friendly.

12/07/2026: Excellent Roman osteria. Delicious traditional dishes. The tonnarelli cacio e pepe are a testament to the excellence of the tonnarelli (and the chef! 😅), the mezze maniche all'amatriciana (meat and pasta) made to perfection, and a truly exquisite lemon and fennel stew, tender and delicate, accompanied by sautéed chicory and baked potatoes. We'll try the other specialties next time we return to Rome!
