30/05/2025: Before traveling to Roma I searched the net for locations with good and honest food near the sights we were going to visit. On Les than 15 minutes walk from the Vatican I found this Osteria. Outside with a nice terrace and inside very light. Fabio served us very friendly and with some light jokes in good English. He advised to take the mixed primo (Starter) for all to share which was a mix of meat, fish and vegetable dishes and our group of 7 loved it. Some of us had pasta which was fresh made and again very good Secondi was for me the catch of the day and for other saltimbocca or grilled steak. All again of excellent quality. Desert was home made Italian classics with a twist. It was a happy and lovely experience just outside the tourist industry.

29/05/2025: For an establishment at this price point, we expected more. The artichoke dish lacked seasoning and appeared small and rather lonely on the plate. The carbonara was just fine, though I personally expected handmade pasta and a bit more moisture in the dish.

06/06/2025: One of the places to return to feel at home even after years! The menu is always different with delicious dishes ... and above all outside the chaos of the more touristy historic center. Well done and don't change!!!

31/05/2025: All staffs are so nice to everybody and they have QR code to see menu so you can easily consider foods. I ate caprese as an antipasto and amatriciana. I liked them and enjoyed well. thank you all guys.

12/04/2025: Fermato per caso andando verso l 'Aurelia da Formello. Personale gentilissimo, servizio rapido e curato. Menù romano. Mi sono limitato perché dovevo lavorare. Ho preso uno gnocco spuntature e salciccia abbondante ed equilibrato. Un calice di rosso, un acqua. Caffè ed amaro mi sono stati offerti. Ho speso 20 euro, prezzo onestissimo ci tornerò presto, in compagnia, a cena. Perché se il buongiorno so vede dal mattino... sarà un piacere provare altri piatti.

29/05/2025: Very good place for lunch and coffee near the coliseum. Prices are normal and porche too. It is very tasty and the service is brilliant. I highly recommend :) 122e for 6 people for lunch with coffee and dessert

09/06/2025: Very good value for money. Good food and friendly service! The surroundings are very lively, which is something you have to like. We really enjoyed it! We arrived a little early for dinner and were lucky to get a seat right away; it started to get crowded around 7:30 p.m.

08/06/2025: Excelente comida, excelente y muy amable, pero no es un servicio agresivo - - te tratan como familia. Los precios parecían bajos para la gran calidad. Cuando ocurrió un error menor en un pedido de bebidas, nos compelieron a dos bebidas gratis. Cuando volvimos otra noche, fuimos inmediatamente reconocidos y recibidos con dos vasos de prosecco gratis. Absolutamente no dejará de ir allí de nuevo cuando esté en Roma. Una cosa a tener en cuenta - - la combinación maitre 'd/ servidor/busboy/ringmaster ajetreado como loco, aparentemente haciendo el trabajo de dos personas mientras que sigue siendo el anfitrión perfecto. Resulta que tiene un hermano gemelo.

14/06/2025: Rustic place with authentic traditional Roman cuisine in typical tavern style. The food is excellent, the staff is super friendly and the price is more than reasonable. Consider that the portions are very generous, especially the first courses. Promoted!

10/06/2025: Small but cozy place. You eat really well and the quality/price ratio is good. The deconstructed tiramisu and the cannoli are special!

20/05/2025: Bonelli is always Bonelli. There is no place like it. High quality home-made Roman food, very friendly and welcoming. Gricia, fried anchovies, scarola, cod, tripe, saltimbocca. Not many options for vegetarians but they find you an alternative! It was one of Bourden's favorites!

03/06/2025: I certainly don't want to speak ill of this trattoria. It was recommended by German friends, and I visited it for my birthday. On good days, the positive reviews might not be unjustified, but this was a rather bad day. Even though we had a reservation, we were first offered a very cramped table in a back room of the restaurant, and then a slightly better one. The service was having a very bad day and kept forgetting our drink orders. It took a very long time for the starters to arrive, which fell far short of expectations and were sometimes terribly unimaginatively presented. The main courses were OK, but nothing more. We wanted to take my daughter's half-eaten pizza with us, and we had even mentioned it, but in the end it was thrown away. I was a bit embarrassed, as my guests included local relatives who could certainly have recommended other restaurants.

02/06/2025: Found the place by chance on our way back from a weekend in Abruzzo, we arrived and were immediately impressed by the really nice place, well stocked with high quality wines and many typical products on display (guanciale, prosciutto, etc.). We wanted to try the first courses, including carbonara cacio e pepe and Amatriciana, all of which were amazing, especially the latter, which I tried with a very good high quality guanciale, very friendly and welcoming staff. We have decided to return to also enjoy the second courses.
